It is a very satisfying book to read. I grew up about 50 miles from the hometown of Martin and Osa Johnson, so reading about them is always exciting to me.

This is about three boyscouts who won a trip to Africa to go on a safari with the famous world explorers. It tells of their trip through England, France, and Italy on their way to meet up with the Johnsons for their African adventure.
They tell of lions, gazelles, and all the amazing wildlife and natives of the Serengeti.
