In college, they were friends. For one night, they were lovers. Now she needs a favor, if only she can forgive him for ruining her life.
Twelve years ago, would-be sportscaster Hannah LaRosa's life was forever changed when she spent one night with her friend, Callaghan Entay. Now she's finally ready to launch her career, covering all the sports news that's fit to report. And as much as she'd like to forget about her past with Callaghan Entay, he's making news that she has to cover.
Callaghan Entay has made soccer his whole life, sacrificing everything to be one of the country's best goalkeepers. He has one milestone left … and then what?
Like a moth to a flame, Callaghan can't stay away from his former friend. But he doesn't want to, even though he's pretty sure she's using him for his career, like everyone else in his life.
Hannah's not sure she can ever trust Callaghan to stay, no matter how attentive he seems. But what if, this time, he really is a keeper?

Callaghan/Cally/Cal (depending on who you are) & Hannah Those two are a hot mess!!! But in the best possible way…both were soccer players in college & friends…study buddies, work out partners & at the time I would say best friends that turned into a one night stand neither will forget but for different reasons A turn of events in both of their lives changed everything in 24 hrs….he gets the opportunity of a life time & she ends up in ICU fighting for her life 12 years later they end up in the same party…him as a guest & her as a server…she sees him & he sees her but she has a mask on (thanks pandemic) so he’s not 100% sure she’s who he really saw Then in a rather funny turn of events Cal finds Hannah again through ClikClak (I wonder if they have BookClak)…she has posted a video about him basically stating the obvious…12 years later her one time friend has a major stick up his behind but she gotten his attention & the story rolls on from there It’s a second chance sports romance friends to lovers but there are definitely a lot of bumps along the way…..oh & with a HEA There were several secondary characters that I loved…Ophelia for not being a main character was a ton of fun…she lived her life unapologetic…Hannah & I were both there for it 😉 There’s not really any trigger warnings Maybe possible fatal illness Defamation of character Lite Spice
So, I love me some good sport romances and rom coms and this is bit of both. This book is about Callahan, a soccer player, and Hannah, a former collage friend who wants to be a sportscaster.
Callahan and Hannah are really cute together. They reunite trough a social media platform named “ClikClak” (ps. Love that name). You see the characters personalities build through the story.
This book has a some spice, the drama and the puns I love in a book. It’s an quick and easy read, not so heavy.
Overall I loved this book. I didn’t know it was the second book so I will start book one soon and I can’t wait to read the following books!

I had so much fun with this book! I loved Hannah, adored Carlos, and swooned over Cal (when I wasn't rolling my eyes at him along with Hannah... :) ) - and I was delighted to see that Ophelia and Xavier played a quite important part in this story, too, heart eyes emojis and all. <3 More, please?
I Read You Belong with Me, the second book in the Boston Buzzards series by Kathryn R. Biel and loved it. This novel is a masterclass in romantic comedy, with a narrative that's both witty and wise. The characters are so well-crafted and relatable, I found myself rooting for them from the very beginning. The banter is snappy and engaging, the chemistry is electric, and the emotional connection is deep and abiding. Kathryn R. Biel's writing is superb, with a keen attention to detail and a deep understanding of the human heart. The pacing is perfect, the dialogue is authentic, and the emotional depth is remarkable. What I loved most about this book was its thoughtful exploration of themes that are both personal and universal. The romance is sweet and swoony, with a slow burn that will leave you begging for more. And that ending, Absolutely perfect. I also appreciated the way Biel wove in elements of friendship and family, adding a richness and depth to the narrative. Can't wait to Read the next Book in the series..Definitely Your Next 5⭐ Read..
Super cute story about a professional soccer player, Callahan, and his former college friend, Hannah, who wants to be a sportscaster. Her plans got derailed while his career took off and now she’s run into him after 12 years.
It was a quick read and not super heavy, which was a nice change of pace. Also, I really liked Hannah’s character. Not gonna lie, I wish she was a real person so I could find her on ClikClak. 😂
I didn’t realize this was book 2 of this Boston Buzzards series so I’ll be reading book 1 soon!
This is the second book in the Boston Buzzards series.
This is a cute story. A little bit sports romance, a little bit romcom, and an easy, cohesive read.
Hannah is working as a server for a company that caters several venues but her dream is to become a sportscaster. During one of her jobs she freaks out when she sees Callahan,a professional athlete and former sports colleague that she spent one night with seven years ago while at college.
Hannah and Callahan end up reuniting via social media and the hilarious banter begins here. Throughout this novel we watch both Hannah and Callahan grow individually as well as within their relationship. We meet support characters that add some depth to the story. There are some predictable moments including the third act miscommunication and break up and then the expected HEA.
Overall a decent read.
I received an advanced reader copy and am leaving this review voluntarily.

Terrific second story in the Boston Buzzards series! I was cheering for Hannah and Callaghan the entire time. I wanted the best for them in not only their careers but in a possible relationship. I am not a soccer person but I was able to enjoy the story completely not feeling that I was missing something. Having read the first book in the series it was nice to see a bit of a continuation of Ophelia and Xavier’s story. I can’t wait for book three!
Not going to lie that I was a bit worried during the first few pages. There were some jokes that didn’t land for me, and I was afraid the book would be full of ridiculous one liners. It was NOT, and I really enjoyed it. Once the plot started falling into place, the pacing was perfect. I’d definitely consider checking this one out if you’re into contemporary closed-door romance.
•Satisfying, slice of life, rom/com with relatable characters. You follow two characters entwined by fate, Hannah and Callaghan, navigating squashed dreams, love, and the fear of trying again. Other characters, besides the main characters, within the book were all likable. Only two characters I didn’t like: the ex and the reporter. I wish there was an actual interaction with the reporter from the top newscast and Hannah. On the same hand, the drama and gossip was juicy! I had to sit my kindle down for a minute when Hannah recorded a video that could have literally destroyed someone. Whew, anxi-TEA. I would suggest, ‘You Belong with Me’, for the beach or light reading when traveling. Overall, the story wraps up beautifully from start to finish. SN: This book hints at a previous scandal that occurred pre Hannah/Callaghan’s story. I would suggest reading the first book, ‘XOXO’, to get the scoop.
Thoughts while reading:
•Main character pinning after male character in the beginning was a little annoying. •Putting off knowing about her diagnosis till later in the book made me eager to know what medically happened to her. Or what accident she was in.
•fate was lining up for them hella hard- especially when Callaghan went to his big brand endorsement

Thanks to the author for an advanced reader copy. I hadn't read XOXO or anything else from this author before.
"You Belong with Me" is an easy, adorable read that leaves you with all the good feelings a romcom should.
This had one of the cutest, funniest, well paced first chapters I've read in a romance in a long time. Jumps right in and endeared me to Hannah right away. I also loved the growth of both main characters by the end of the book.
Once the reason for her career failure was revealed, I thought that was a curious choice (without spoiling the reveal). I know that totally happens to women but I just wasn't expecting a romcom to be a bit of a health PSA too. Yikes.
The only real thing that didn't work for me was the third act conflict. Whenever one main character is a reporter and the other is a celebrity or sports figure, this is almost always the go-to incident. As soon as she made that video, I was like, 'Yep, I know exactly how this is going to end.'
Otherwise, this is a fun, fast read with all the sweetness, heat, and laughs you're looking for.
I loved this book so much that I couldn't put it down and finished in one day! Without giving away the beginning I was worried it was just like the plot of other books where the main female lead runs into her long lost famous love interest while working a blue collar job she is embarrassed about. This is totally not that! The further you get in the book, the more you fall in love with the characters and the story. It is a closed door love story so while they elude to scenes happening you do not read the explicit details. I enjoyed that because I plan to share this book with my grown daughter. I think this a great reminder that lost love can come back and also that it is never too late to find your passion.
This is a sweet romance story and worth the quick read!
This book was so cute! I loved Hannah and felt like she was an extremely strong female lead for this book! Her struggles that she had gone through from college to the present time is really heartbreaking. Frankly, while I liked Cally, he definitely was not always a favorite of mine. He was extremely pushing at the beginning and seemed to always complain whenever he thought that he was always surrounded by takers. But I do feel like Hannah and him work really well together. Also this book really brought me back to my days of playing soccer (though never to the point where Hannah and Cally did). The ending to this book was just perfect and I felt like it was wrapped up beautifully!
This is the second book of the Boston Buzzards series and it revolves around Callaghan\Cal (or Cally to Hannah) and Hannah. The story has a curvy FMC and a cocky MMC. There's heartbreak, drama, and right guy but wrong time theme. Their story starts in college where they become friends and then one night they are together, the next day Callaghan is gone. He never calls or texts Hannah. Hannah moves on with life and Cal moves on too...but they never forget about each other and when they are brought back together, will they figure out how to make things work or will a misunderstanding mess everything up? I liked this story especially Hannah's dog park series... If you wanna know..read the book!! 😉😉
Funny romcom book that I ended up reading in one day. As someone who doesn't usually reach for a second chance book, this one was absolutely amazing and I loved every second of it. The plot and development of both Callaghan and Hannah had me running through all sorts of emotions in both good and bad ways that made all pieces of the story connect well. Loved the supporting characters and the wonderful ending!
This book is a great feel-good book if you are looking for the Hallmark Vibes meets the sports world. These two go from being best friends in college with such similar lives to living such varied lives and finding each other again. This reconnection helps them each find themselves again with their career goals and themselves. I recommend this book to anyone looking for an easy read with some sporty edges and a little spice slipped in.
It has been a while since I read book one so some things weren’t as fresh in my mind as I would have liked. This was such a fun story. So much personal growth and forgiveness. My only issue was the timing between the last chapter and the epilogue. In the episode it says it is hours later and it is after the first national team game but in the end of the last chapter there were still two weeks until that game.
Ok…so I read this from start to finish in about 6 hours! It’s really funny and I love the story. Kathryn did a great job creating likable characters. If you’re looking for spice I give this 🌶️. But if you want a good romcom with a relatable FMC (she’s gotta be plus size but it’s never 100% clear) then you’ll enjoy this. There are some super funny moments and great lines. I definitely recommend!
I usually don’t like second chance romances but this was well done. Within the first 50 pages I was scared that this book would be too slow, but it wasn’t. Everything quickly fell into place. I loveddd how Cal was literally so hell bent on getting that second chance with Hannah. I also adored Ophelia. She was so sweet! Overall this was a nice quick read :)
This is a fun book. Hannah is so relatable as someone whose life didn’t go the way she planned so she has to pivot and take a different path. Cal is a singularly focused athlete who doesn’t leave much room for anything or anyone. When they reconnect, they both have to adjust their views of themselves and those around them. It was easy to root for them as a couple!
A second chance romance that has so much more than what you’re expecting. Both main characters are interesting because they feel very real. I’ve read all 3 books in these series. I started with book 3 Zero to Hero (I got that one as an ARC) and I fell in love with the story telling of this author and decided to buy book one and 2. I loved them all.
This book was both sweet and funny! The perfect feel good romance! The interactions between all characters especially the main protagonists was perfectly written and I had such a good time reading this book! Cannot wait to see what’s next from Kathryn!
This was a very well written second chance romance with possibly some enemy to lovers. Callaghan is a pro soccer player who is so in his own world of training and competing and the only person who could break in is his former college friend Hannah. Hannah is a former college soccer player who had to put things on hold. It was a good story of how Cal was able to redirect some of his focus and not have such tunnel vision. They we’re a great match and it was a fun book to read and a fun story to watch develop.
This book was great, I’m usually iffy about second chance romances but I liked the way this one was handled and I loved to see the character growth happen as the book went on. It’s a fun quick read and I really enjoyed it!
I really enjoyed this story, our main characters Hannah and Callaghan and of course the supporting characters as well. I always like finding out more about our hero and heroines back story and the back story for both Hannah and Callaghan was a lot. Especially with learning what Hannah had gone through and knowing what a huge impact it had on not only the rest of her life but her dreams as well. I also liked when Ophelia came onto the scene and I wasn’t sure if that was going to go anywhere but she turned out to be cooler than I initially thought and I loved how her friendship with Hannah evolved. I enjoyed that Hannah and Callaghan became friends again and then a little more and when Hannah has an opportunity come up and she almost sells her soul to the devil in a way, I was concerned that any positives in her relationship with Callaghan were going to be gone and game over. However, everything fell into place with a little help from Ophelia, Callaghan and a couple of teammates and she was able to pursue her dream in a roundabout way and Callaghan was also able to achieve a big dream of his as well. Great story!
This book has so much great banter, swooning, I love you but I hate you, all the great things you want in a feel good chick lit book! Highly recommend!
