I have had the opportunity to spend two days in workshops with Michael Tamura. He is an amazing man with an infectious laugh and playful sense of humor. His voice and generous spiritual presence comes through the words of this book and creates a big space of love to dwell in.

Shoutout liv because I had an amazing time reading this book, which she so generously gifted to me.
This book shared a lot of the same ideas as the Power of Now, which I read this summer and really enjoyed. Tamura describes spirituality through the lens of self-embracement and acceptance, rather than an acceptance of time, which I preferred as I found it more empowering. My main criticism, however, is that Tamura takes on a dualist perspective, which I had an issue with since it fails to address that our physical bodies effect our experiences, making it much more difficult for some groups of people to follow his teachings than others. Eckert did a much better job of addressing this in the Power of Now.
Tamura also went very vague at certain parts of the book, i.e. his discussion of chakras and energy centers was so vague that I wish he just wouldn't have included it. However, I do love that he has a section dedicated to different exercises for developing clairvoyant abilities.

Michael Tamura is probably one of the most amazing spiritual healers on the planet today...but little known to the mainstream. I met him in person last year when I attended a healing retreat in Mt. Shasta, CA. Such a funny and genuine man. His book is spiritually transformational.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I cannot take anything this fake "teacher" says or does. Michael Tamura and his wife Raphael are 2-faced criminal frauds and toxic malignant narcissists. I’m the partner of one of their victims. To protect that person’s identity, I will just say that I’m totally disgusted at the fawning over Michael and Raphael Tamura. They are criminals. They were willing and conscious accomplices to completely fabricated, written accusations that ended up in a false police complaint against a 100% innocent person. Yes, they lied on paper and set-up a completely innocent person, all because they apparently were “persuaded” by one of their other criminal, sociopathic friends, with no basis in reality. They just made shit up and signed their names. This is not something a "master psychic" or true "spiritual teacher" does. TRULY SELF-ACTUALIZED PEOPLE WOULD NEVER DO THIS. Act from such judgment and contempt. If they abided by spiritual laws , and if they were truly "psychic" they would not have done ANY of that. Their immoral actions could’ve resulted in someone being falsely thrown in jail, and they have not taken accountability, apologized and keep spreading their fake smiley faces and act of spiritual mastery while having a very different private face. They have caused huge problems in this and other ways, known in the true spiritual community. Please don't be deceived. These are 2-faced, vicious, conniving predators who belong behind bars. They have no business teaching anything with the criminal things they have done. F*ck Michael Tamura and Raphael, they are disgusting pieces of trash and they have repulsive energy. It's hard sharing this, but people need to know the truth. It doesn't matter if some famous medium wrote their intro (makes me question that person too), it matters what they do and they don't do good. A lot of these so-called spiritual people just abuse their position, like John of God and countless other so-called teachers. It's sickening. Michael Tamura is soul-murdering monster.

Was not the book for me. Was hard for me to engage. Think it was me, not the book. Stories like swimming with dolphins and "felt-heard" them just does not resonate with me. Think i may be at different wave length so do not mean to disparage the book. Instead, would fault myself as not matching up with the message of the book.

There are a few brilliant moments of wisdom in this book, and then there are a few stories that are so far out of the realm of believability that I questioned the rest of the book (for example, instantaneously healing his severely burned hand through his psychic healing abilities.) At first the book excited me but by the time that I was halfway through, I wanted it to be over.

I'm not sure what to think. I know there is some great stuff in here that is over my head. I'm keeping it for a definite re-read.
