Fr. James Brent was one of my college professors and his class on the Philosophy of Religious fundamentally changed how I understand evangelization. This book is powerful, picking up on what Bl. James Alberione referred to as “Christification”— that we are not called to simply live or to act like Jesus, but to be Jesus, the incarnation of the Holy Trinity.

Great book, I think everyone should read it. Def a repeat of his NST content, but was still good to sit with it and meditate on it again. IMHO this book is super helpful in forming a proper lens through which we understand ourselves, our relationship with God, and the world. Will probably have a book study on it at some point.

Fr Brent explains the most compelling parts of the Gospel in a way that many people haven't heard before, and in a way that shows we are made for fulfillment in God. Highly recommend this!
