Solis has been eliminated, but the real threat, Roze the Daystrider is still alive.
And she wants revenge.
In order for Iker to disappear into the shadows, he must first step into the light and face an enemy stronger than any in his past.
Now, together with Byako and her group of Nightwalkers, Iker must stop Roze before she destroys the Dark Council and plunges all of the vampires into a civil war. If he succeeds, he can fade back into the shadows.
Failure will mean the death and destruction of his world as he knows it. Failure is not an option.
Orlando Sanchez has been writing ever since his teens when he was immersed in creating scenarios for playing Dungeon and Dragons with his friends every weekend. An avid reader, his influences are too numerous to list here. Some of the most prominent are: J.R.R. Tolkien, Jim Butcher, Kat Richardson, Terry Brooks, Piers Anthony, Lee Child, George Lucas, Andrew Vachss, and Barry Eisler to name a few in no particular order. The worlds of his books are urban settings with a twist of the paranormal lurking just behind the scenes and generous doses of magic, martial arts, and mayhem. Aside from writing, he holds a 2nd and 3rd Dan in two distinct styles of Karate. If not training, he is studying some aspect of the martial arts or martial arts philosophy. He currently resides in Queens, NY with his family and can often be found in the local Starbucks where most of his writing is done. I love Iker. He’s a great character I hope to read more about. The book covers are fantastic, and I can't wait to read the next installment. Keep bugging the author Iker because your fans want more.
I'm still not sure what to make of this story or these characters. The pacing is good & plenty of action. The dialogue isn't as witty as I would've expected.
Nightwalker was amazing! Iker just cuts through his opposition like hot butter and doesn't let an injury or a disability stop him or hinder him in any way, if anything, he uses it, lets others see it and lets them think it will hamper him and uses it to his advantage! He is set upon a path to stop a Daystrider, a vampire who is able to withstand direct sunlight, from taking over a ruling council, and is doing so with such elite efficiency. They ought to be wary but are so arrogant! Bullies are like that. And in the end, he becomes more, and is turned into such a weapon! As if he wasn't one to begin with! And his associates - an amazing team at his side, helping and keeping him safe, working as such a cohesive unit. A great read!
In this story, the follow on to Daystrider, Iker the Unseen continues his tenuous alliance with Director Nakatomi with the goal being to remove the Daystrider before being himself removed - permanently. This story has a plethora of action and intrigue, with plenty of fighting, seemingly overwhelming odds, with snappy and often humorous dialog pulling the scenes together. There's something else I like from this author: strong female supporting characters who are smart, tough and capable in their own right. The male MC has no trouble accepting help from them in a way that does not diminish him at all. If you like exciting urban fantasy, with terrific characters, action, an engrossing story with a stunning ending, you'll enjoy this sequel to Daystrider and be left wanting more!
So I just finished the Nightwalker (Iker the Cleaner book 3). Wow. I will try and do this without spoilers. So, great, great series. Loved all the books, but the last was outstanding. Iker went from a sideline charactor to a major. And he did it with style. Orlando Sanchez, nice job Sir and the Author’s notes at the end really made me understand. Yes, I think I speak for many of your fans when I say, YES, Iker needs another series. Maybe not now, but definitely, there is a need. He will call. Nicely done!
With the conspiracies unraveled, the only actions left to take are to clean house. Easier said than done. Even if he successfully defeats triumvir Garcia, whose paranoia manifests as impossible levels of security, Iker still will need to face Roze. Uncovering the identity of the Daystrider and surviving said Daystrider are two entirely separate actions. Decision time: either Iker falls to dust like so many before him, or he becomes something more to possibly win the day.
Ones may be one of my favorite Sanchez characters, he captures a mix of angst, determination and dedication that is relatively unique. I'm wondering how this will go forward without the injured leg to complain about and blame for things? He has a very cool vehicle and a team that is vague but supportive and not too impossible... Fun stuff!
I find reading about Mr Sanchez's fascinating imagination, well, fascinating. Its amazing what worlds he has contained in th mass of tissue w the consistency of a strawberry that occupies the space between his parietal bones! I have a couple more of his series to explore but apparently I can read faster than he can write lol keep up the awesome work. Michelenp
Ah yes, a feral read indeed. The author once again has let his creations loose upon his avid readers & we've attacked them like the rabid hellhounds we are. Iker has gotten under our skins and in his own way has attempted to redeem himself. LoL, we'll see how long that lasts.
Iker needs to end Roze. But first he has to find her which means going through those who want power too. This third book in Iker the Cleaner puts Iker at his final target. How things end is not what he expected but maybe what he wanted and needed? Fantastic read as always Orlando.
Iker and Byako take on Roze and her daylighters. This is a wonderful conclusion to this trilogy. Iker must make a life changing decision. This was a fast paced page turner. I can't wait for Iker and Sabine to make appearances in future M&S books and hopefully a full length story of their own. I highly recommend this series and anything written by this amazing author.
Yes, author Orlando Sanchez had done it again in another excellent book about Iker and the world in which he moves. Very interesting twist at the end - no spoilers here - but the author manages to both satisfyingly end the book (and the trilogy of books), but also hook the reader's interest for what might happen in the NEXT story about Iker.
Full of action, fast paced story. So many hanging threads. Iker needs more books or to invade everyone else's story. Or both! Get to it, Orlando, we need more!
Every book 📗 that Orlando Sanchez throws out there is thought 💭 provoking and begging for total immersion. There is so much action going, it's hard to take a break or a breath.
Loved this continued look at Iker. With enemies amassing before him, can he manage to not only survive but triumph in the suicide mission he has set himself. Orlando Sanchez once again provides an entertaining & masterful story.
It's surprising how easy it is to get into the assassin mindframe and encourage Iker to take people out. I really enjoy showcasing Byako and all her skills as a second
What a great finally not! I hope there will be more Iker in tbe future. This was a great insight to the workings of the Dark council. Also the fight scenes were epic. Loved the homage to Star Trek! All I can say is more please!!!!
An excellent ending to the Iker the Unseen trilogy, but something tells me there will be another appearance. Iker continues his mission to remove those in power who want him dead. Plenty of action, as expected in any Orlando Sanchez novel. And don't pass on the author notes at the end.
Fantastic series. Author says it’s a trilogy but I would love to read more of this character!! I hope to see him team up with special characters from his other series!!
I read one Orlando book before and I was not impressed. It has taken me a long time to pick up another book, but these three books about Iker have brought me around to exploring some more of his writings.
Such a great wrap. All issues addressed and an interesting new course for Iker. My only complaint is that I want more. Great job Orlando! Love this story.
Iker continues his hunt for Rose the Daystrider in an attempt to stop a vampire war. Iker is pushed to his limits, but will he be able to save the day and at what cost.
A great book by a great author. The story of ikr continues. The action keeps you engaged and the characters are the best. We need another five books please.
