The concept here isn't anything unique, and in fact gives quite strong Inuyasha vibes, from the scattered powerful items luring in demons of the week, to the Shippo inspired adorable but fiesty side character. But the main characters are likeable and intriguing enough to keep reading.

This book was over sooo fast, but I'm still really interested in knowing more.
Also, I love the little author section in the back where the author says their editor said the more hot guys, the better the book would sell-- like hahahahah omg. But also, thank you for the pretty boy main characters hahahhaa.

I'm a moody reader and this totally hit the spot. Probably helps that I'm watching a supernatural/fantasy cdrama with demons as well.

3.5 🌟 I enjoyed the concept of this manga. We have Fuzuki an onmyoji tasked with finding relics that have been stolen by demons, while Hakuro aids him in doing so. On their search they come across Ranmaru a young half-demon, who then finds himself absorbing one of the relics. Ranmaru discovers he can see others who posses a relic too so Fuzuki offers him a deal: help him search for those who hold a relic and he won’t take off his head…yet.
Fuzuki comes across as this cold guy who only cares about getting the job done; where Hakuro is this kind and caring caretaker. I loved Ranmaru’s character he’s such a cutie.
Looking forward to the other volumes and seeing were this manga series goes.

Un premier tome qui nous plonge directement dans l’histoire.
J’ai clairement adoré ma lecture !
C’est un début d’histoire fantasy/historique simple et solide avec des personnages intéressants et intrigants. (Le combo pour me conquérir).
Le protagoniste (Fuzuki) dégage un vrai charisme et le petit Ranmaru est si mignon (bien que clairement dépassé par les événements).
Le fait que l’on peut passer du sérieux aux rires a su me charmer.
Aussi : les dessins sont vraiment beaux. C’était un plaisir pour les yeux !
J’ai super hâte de lire la suite pour voir où ce manga va nous mener !

Operation Hot Guy Paradise was a success. (☞^o^) ☞ (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)
This book is solid from page one. It doesn't fall into any of the typical volume 1 pitfalls. It has its premise and its characters and off it goes. It's well drawn and well told. And where most books like this basically press pause on fight scenes for the characters to talk, this one keeps the action going and that is refreshing.
As another reader mentioned, this does give off Inuyasha vibes, particularly because of Ranmaru and the search for magical items.
Looking forward to volume 2!

Sometimes a family is an unhinged demon hunter, his long-suffering half-wolf companion, and the feral weasel child they’ve adopted.
Man, I love manga.
Anyway.
This SO GOOD????? The storytelling, the characters, the art style—all so on point. I’m very impressed by this story so far.
I need another hit of this like NOW. Definitely checking out all the volumes my library has so brb~
