“The best zombie series on Amazon. Period.”
Two teenagers find a frozen corpse in the middle of the woods and decide to bring it back to town. They have no idea they just sparked the zombie apocalypse.
In the morgue below the hospital, the dead begin waking up and attacking the living. The infection spreads rapidly, turning the place into a slaughterhouse as those inside fight to survive against the undead.
As the situation escalates, authorities are forced to seal off the building in an attempt to contain the spread of the virus. But it may already be too late ...

I write stories about the apocalypse so that I don't need to work a real job. I grew up reading Stephen King and still haven't fully recovered. I'm currently ending the world in my new series Under the Breaking Sky.

This is another great addition to this Zonbie series. The subtle hints for the great reveal, the cliffhanger at the end all lead me to rush to the next addition. I love Nick Clausen's writing style.
I hope Ragnar turns out to be immune just so he can kill that bastard. This one was a little all over the place, but I loved how the connections to certain characters became clearer as I read. This author makes an art of having many characters be connected in some way or another. It is fun puzzling out until it is revealed.

This whole series is really good🤩 I’m really enjoying it! I devoured book 1-5 in four days 🤭 don’t get attached to any of the characters. Also trigger warning - there’s accidental and not so accidental cannibalism.
“‘I will end it on my terms. I will bring this old chair, along with the rope from the basement, and I will visit the old cabin out in the woods one last time. To whomever finds this notebook, that’s where you’ll find me’”…”
It's now been days into the Torik Virus and many innocent people are falling to the slighter of the undead. Askel and Belinda both find themselves trapped in a military cargo vehicle sat amongst the undead, trapped by KJell who has a violent plan of vengeance to achieve. Simply pawns, Bigga is also picked up and finds herself part of the nightmare for revenge, but her outcome wouldn't be as clean as the other two. Fooling KJell, Belinda manages to escape undetected by running into the woods and back towards Anne and Rosa parked a few miles away. Askel gets the horrifying task of unstrapping the zombies and between himself and Bigga, they are to lead them to Ragnar's cave. Trying to stay ahead, they lead dozens of zombies over a frozen lake and up a mountain, where they encounter Kriss. Bigga unknowingly triggers a log boobytrap, leaving her shin shattered and as the others try and help he along, KJell orders them to simply leave her behind. Calling his bluff, he shoots her in her good leg, leaving the others no choice to leave her behind if they too didn't want to die. Out of the woodwork, Guardian (Bigga's dog and the one Askel snatched off the road), comes to his master's aid, but it'll be too late as she's already bitten and infected. Storming into Ragnar's cave, KJell would use gasoline to burn the barricade entrance down and allow the zombies to freely enter. Askel and Kriss and Guardian ma age to escape unharmed, but Jan would die from a neck wound and Ragnar to the infection from bites.
I guess I should tell him. Make him understand this isn’t a sickness, but that she’s really—
Ella is finally starting to understand she's was blessed with an immunity to the infection, after watching Hugo's succumb to the virus after this viscous attack. Sent to his closest friend Juma, Ella knows he's her best chance to making a possible stand against the undead. Tormented by the loss of his Aunt Zuri, he's trying to find what caused the Torik Virus, but every sample isn't reacting how they should. Kriss believes the paranormal monster, a drug was responsible for laying a curse onto humanity. When the Peterson's dug up it's ancient tomb, they released something not human into the world.
Reading each book of the Cadaver series is much like watching a building being built. You can’t tell what it will be from the foundation – and even when the frame is raised you can still mistake its ultimate state. After the first two books I felt like I had a good handle on where the overall story was going, of course book three served to show me the error of my presumption, book four furthered the correction to my presumptions. Book five brings in several possibilities for the remainder of the series. On specific thing I have to say about book five is regarding Axel’s part in this book. Over the first four books Axel plays a significant part, but in book five he seems to fully commit to jumping out of the proverbial frying pan into the fire multiple times with varying degrees of success. Of the five books I’ve listened to so far, book five has been my favorite not just because of the action and situation, but there are revelations about each character that made me think of them more as multidimensional friends rather than well-developed characters in a story. Once again Spencer Dillehay brings everyone to life in a manner that illustrates his significant narration skills.
I was skeptical at first as this genre of reading is not my cup of tea. With that being said I was pleasantly surprised with this series of books, so much so that I've read all of the published books in the series in a week, actually mostly this last three days. Aside from a few typos and misspellings, I was intrigued with the series. My one and only complaint being how short each book in the series is. I would prefer them combined to make a longer book, even if it lessened the number of books in the series. I can be a fast reader if the story is good and I blew through each book like air from a balloon. Regardless of my opinion on that, this series is solid. Graphic enough to entertain adults and reserved enough that a younger audience can enjoy it as well. Definitely worth the read if zombies are your genre of reading!!

Audiobook: Book 5 was as electrifying as the first four books in the series. I spent another evening glued to the audiobook as I had to know what would happen next. There were some surprises, and there were some rollercoaster moments filled with emotional and situational upheavals. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Spencer Dillehay's narration was engrossing, and his performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.
This was so good. I was looking for Book 6 but it's not out yet. A lot was going on and I just gotta say I was expecting more from Ragnuk or whatever his name is. He acted like he had it all together. I'm loving the story but the books sure be short. Luckily I'm still reading Monsters at Midnight in between books. It has good short stories written by this author. I'm taking my time with them so I'll have something to read while I'm waiting.
I love this series and read the available books during a storm shut down. I couldn't stop! The author has made the story exciting, and the characters are very relatable. Normal people trying to survive during a zombie apocalypse. No spoilers just grab the first book and get started. I cannot wait for the next volume and was a bit bummed I had to leave this fictional world.
These books just aren’t long enough!!! Even at number five and they still haven’t run out of steam! I love this series can’t wait for number six Nick!!!
Love this series. Fast paced roller coaster ride. Lots of ups and downs and a few unexpected surprises. Looking forward to the next book. Really recommend reading this series.
Excellent continuation of the series. I love the character development and the unique take on the zombie apocalypse genre. I listened to the audible version, and the narrator, Spencer Dillehay, is great!
I’m still impressed with this author’s writing style and ability to tell a story across many different characters and stories. Keeping everything consistent and suspenseful throughout a series is hard, but the author has managed to do this! I’m eager to see how this story will wrap up.
I just love this author! I am a fan of all things horror, however, Nick really fleshes out his charaters, you really care about them and want to know what's going to happen to them. I highly recommend this series and Blind Fury!
Each book I read I love more and more. Some of the best characters in any series I’ve ever read. I can’t wait to see how the story continues to unfold and secretly never want it to end.
One of the best zombie series I've ever read. Anxiously waiting for book 6. This one should be made into a movie. Great side stories all tied together.
I NEVER leave reviews. Cadaver was a great read and i loved the characters and their storyline. Can't wait for the next book and to hear more about Anne's storyline.
