This book took me way too long to finish (85 days to be exact), and not just because I have a baby taking up most of my time. It simply wasn’t engaging enough to make me want to pick it up during the rare quiet moments I did have.

I flagged a few interesting excerpts, but the book dragged on so long that I forgot what I had read by the time I got back to it. There was a lot of fluff, and I found myself skimming more often than not. Looking back, I’m not sure why I didn’t just put it down instead of continuing to waste my time. Definitely not for me.

“Life isn’t a dress rehearsal, and there are ultimately no second acts. Once the curtain comes down, the show may go on, but you will not be part of the cast. Put in that context, the question becomes, What do you want to do with the rest of your life?” (P105)
