She never intended on getting involved in Carter Finch’s business, but trouble seems to find her. When he asks her to be a bodyguard to his son, she reluctantly agrees. But Seema is about to learn that all is not as it seems and getting out of this entire scenario, she could lose more than just her life.
Carter has never met a woman like Seema. Gorgeous, sexy, bad-ass. Though his last relationship ended badly, he opens himself up to the possibilities.
But his body is going to have to wait as attempts on his life and his son’s begin getting bolder and closer to home.
Can he depend on Wasp to save them?
And how will he deal with the truth once it comes to light?
Spoilt what could have been A decent story. The storyline was too wooly for no more than a 3 star at most. Also assuming Wasp is mixed race as the author kept referencing her flat noise inherited from her mother. The name Ezra Lipston made it clear father white, possibly jewish. Enjoyed meeting up with both Tex and Wolf again. It was also nice to see Myra. Loved both Dillion and Eli. Audrey, the mother of Dillion, was a really evil human being with no redeemable attributes whatsoever, as is Wasp father and brother - horrid people.
I enjoyed this adventure. It was a little short, was hopeing to read a little more about Levi and Wasp how they met, but it kept me very entertained otherwise. Thanks 🍸👩🏾💻
Really good read loved how Seema was there for Dillion and loved him and made him feel good about himself,( you go girl)so proud of the way she loved them both and how they were there for her.this book really made me smile 😊
