there's no pics, and the recipes are really pretty basic. not great overall. i mean, they couldn't even be bothered to put a little set of pics in the middle, like some cookbooks do....even though that's pretty annoying too.
Written with some humor and good tips. Lots of good recipes. Some of it may not be relatable, but when you've got as many places to tailgate in this country as we do you have to expect that.
Frankly, I could take it or leave it. If you like to cook with beer (not just in hand, but also in the sauce), and if you're interested in manly pursuits such as grilling 'gator, this book is for you. Personally, I didn't find much to tempt my mostly-vegetarian palate. But I have to say that the so-easy-they-won't-believe-it's-home chocolate cake recipe is a real winner. In fact, that recipe is the only reason I kept the book. It gives me hope that I'll find another cool recipes in their some day. Maybe.
Some probably good recipes for tailgating but nothing that seemed outstanding. I would pass on this one. Some helpful tips in the beginning for new tailgaters about what to buy and what could be skipped.
