Welcome to Fate Hollow Academy, where supernaturals blessed by the Fates cultivate their manifested powers and master ancient magic.
Fate Hollow is the academy of the elite, where supernatural beings with special magic train for war against humans.
A big-hearted, naïve arctic fox shifter like me couldn’t have prepared for the treachery lurking within the walls of the academy. Students were going missing or turning up dead on campus and rumors circulated about humans infiltrating academy grounds.
Seeds of fear bloomed within the student body. To make matters worse, the mate that rejected me was hellbent on painting a bright red target on my back with the help of his new girlfriend.
Against all odds, I found refuge with seven irresistible supernatural men, each one more different from the last.
Would the bond of my mates be enough to manifest my hidden power? Without it, I was vulnerable. And with a dragon cult attempting to wage war on humans, I had no choice but to fight.
Fate Hollow Academy is a four book completed series, and this ebook contains all 4 books. It is a paranormal why-choose romance with all characters over the age of twenty-one. It contains mature subject matter that may not be suitable for all readers.
Lyra Winters is a twenty-something Kentucky woman who adores the book world. When she's not typing away on her laptop or daydreaming book ideas, Lyra is occupying her time taking care of her two spunky daughters and dreamy husband. She's addicted to Coca-Cola, 2000's rap music, and bubble baths. Her dream is to write love stories that touch the reader's hearts. Visit her website at https://www.lyrawinters.com/
finihsed book 1, its your usual fantasy but i kinda thought romance is developing WAY quicker than i wish it had (insta love on steroids) like they trust her and give their biggest secrets right off the bat, it wouldn't bother me if they were sure they were mates but no.
she has 6 mates (we know that she doesn't) Kian a necromancer who has visions, Damian who is a shadow demon, Thorn fae prince who was friends with her since they were kids, Alistair vampire professor, Rowan dragon headmaster, Lachlan a werewolf and Rhett an incubus their academy counselor.
Wren our FMC is a Arctic Fox Shifter and the last of her kind has been living with the pack since she was 5 and her parents were killed. The pack is assholes and Grayson who is Alphas son turns out to be one of her mates, but he rejects her in the beginning (he stays rejected dw)
I love box sets. Everything’s altogether in one spot. Lyra writes an amazing story. You can feel the chemistry of each of the characters rolling off of the pages. Wren has major growth from the first book all the way to the last one. You will not be disappointed in this set at all.
WHAT TO EXPECT: ✔️ Why Choose / Poly Relationship ✔️ Rejected Mates ✔️ Touch Her and 💀 ✔️ Different Supernaturals ✔️ Fated Mates ✔️ War Against Humans ✔️ Sweetheart FMC ✔️ War Academy (Characters age +21) ✔️ Found Family ✔️ Protective & Obsessive Mates ✔️ No MM / FF
⚠️ Check trigger warnings; this dark content is for +18 readers
I love it when authors release series in an omnibus edition so I can read all four books in the Fate Hollow series in one go. I felt Zodiac Academy vibes, but condensed into a much shorter series of four books (Terms), and why choose mates. Hang on for the spice, twists and turns on this roller coaster dark fantasy romance series.
Wren is an Arctic fox shifter, the last of her kind left in the world. She was raised as an orphan by a friend of her mother in a pack of Arctic wolf shifters, who have shunned her for her whole life. Wren has a lonely life with only one fae friend who secretly visits her daily and her guardian. One day, her mate bond snaps into place with the Alpha wolf shifter’s son, Grayson, which he promptly rejects, and she rejects him just as quickly. Shortly after, Wren’s mark appears to show that she must now attend Fate Hollow Academy. She heads off, hoping to change her life, even if she must attend with her rejected mate. Wren is fortunate enough to have her fae friend Thorn by her side at Fate Hollow.
I enjoyed this series, which I also listened to on audiobook as I read, helping me to get into all the characters even more. I have always been a fan of the narration by Bridget and Jake Bordeaux. I am giving Fate Hollow Academy: Complete Series a rating of 4 / 5 stars.
Fate Hollow Academy I enjoyed this series, I’ve read the first two books of the series before and I’m so glad I got to read them all in one go along with the 2 new ones. I loved the multiple point of views. I loved how the guys were just drawn to her from the beginning and there wasn’t any bullying happening from them. Although, the first mate ended up rejected, I had hoped he could have had a redemption. She never gave him the chance and neither did her new mates and look how it all turned out for them. I’m so happy that Kian found a familiar, a feisty little perverted little thing too. Lol he was a good side character. The ending, the big one, had a climax for each main character. They all got their conclusion for their parts in the war. There was so many moving pieces of the war that it was hard to keep track what was going on. There was a lot of parents with 8 mates, and their spouses, they were also had to remember who was who. It did reference it later in the chapter in some form so I wasn’t left wondering for long. I did find that there was several spots in the book that was there for dramatic effect only, to prolong the story but no substance to it. If I skipped it I wouldn’t have noticed as it didn’t play a part later in the story. I’m really glad there was an epilogue of a few years into the future. After 4 long books of hiccups, struggles, pain, betrayal, they deserved to enjoy their future how they saw fit. Good series.
first off, i am clearly biased in this book universe by lyra winters. and by that i mean, shadow demons- i need one irl. specifically from this universe. first dex, now damien? hellooooo yes please. now moving on- i did start this one, after reading demon reform academy which occurs roughly 80 years post the events in this series. can say reading in either order is fine, neither really spoils much for the other. most they have in common is the dark magic stuff but that's it really. story wise the pacing is pretty decent in my opinion, especially for a story with 8 points of pov spread between 4 books. i do like that each of her mates had pretty distinctive personalities, though i did feel lachhan got over shadowed sometimes by the other mates. but again, 7 mates and 1 fmc, balance isn't always easy. but again was done pretty well for this series. now being my biased self, damien's scenes were chef's kiss. especially in books 3-4 like hot damn. also the plot twists throughout the books were very interesting, i wont comment too much on why cause dont wanna spoil those. its funner to see them unravel yourself. i will also say there are some characters i do wish we couldve seen a bit more of, or seen a bit longer but i still wouldnt change a thing in the story of wren & her mates. also the epilouge was so perfect!!
I haven’t read a series in ages — mostly because I tend to get bored and leave it unfinished 😅 — but this one completely changed that! The storyline kept me hooked and constantly wondering what would happen next. It took me a bit of time to finish, but I’m so glad I did! 💖
This book has everything I love in a paranormal reverse harem — fae, vampires, shifters, daemons, wizards, and even dragons! 🧚♀️🧛♂️🐺🐉 The mix of species makes the world feel so rich and unpredictable. I also liked that it includes the virgin trope for both the FMC and the MC, which added a sweet and emotional layer to their story 💞.
Even though it has an academy-style setting, there’s a lot of focus on the war in their universe ⚔️, giving the story a darker, more intense edge. I also loved how the relationships developed slowly — even though I’m usually a fan of instant love, it was so satisfying watching the bonds snap into place at their own pace 💫.

“Listen, if you need me to maim anyone, I’d be happy to. And just so you know, if anyone so much as breathes in your direction without your permission, I’ll torture and kill them. My parents are vengeance demons, so I know all sorts of creative ways to make someone hurt.” A giggle escaped my lips as a feeling swept through me. Nobody had ever cared enough to hurt or kill for me before. “Thanks, Damien. I appreciate that.”
I’m sorry, but WTF??!?! Mind you… I was 6% through the first book?! This is absolutely horrible. Omg. If I was her, I would be screaming and running away. The hell is wrong with her??
DNF. I received this completed series through Kindle Unlimited with hopes that I would enjoy it, as it had been recommended to me multiple times. However, I could not get through book one, "Term One," as I found the plotline just wasn't for me. Watch my full review here: https://youtu.be/3JQxITFgmVI

This is a reread for me but it felt like reading it for the first time all over again.
So many villains and so much action, there’s no way this won’t keep your attention. I love the instalove of all the relationships with Wren. Even the most psycho of the bunch just had this sweet and pure love for Wren.
7 mates for our FMC and yet Lyra Winters does a fantastic job of making each personality stand out. The spice is absolutely spicing all throughout the series. But you will absolutely cry several times!
This series started off strong, but it got so rough at the end that I didn’t finish book 4. The politics of these books are weird. Humans are described as pure evil, and while that flew in book 1 (naive FMC with personal history who had also experienced little of the world) there should have been some kind of complexity or nuance to that by book 4. Just overall kind of odd and uncomfortable. I get that these books are escapism, but we still have functioning brains while reading escapism no?
This was such an incredible series! With plenty of spice, a lot of action/plot drama, and some humor! If you enjoy large harems, psycho men who are soft for their mate, innocent FMCs and MMCs, best friends to lovers, rejected mates who don’t get a second chance- this series is the perfect fit!!
This is my fave series so far, i have honestly read all of these like twice. Its the right amount of steam as wella as hilarious and i actually fell in love with all of the characters.
Slow and boring and so many mates just has them switching pov for occasional sex but no real plot development. Two of the mates seem completely useless. Giving up at 50%
So glad I found the addition with all the years together. I love all of the characters individually and together. The last year wasn't my favorite, but still very fun book and pretty spicy.
