A really good cosy mystery read that’s immersive inviting , exciting and fun. The usual suspects and that’s not the criminal ones as they’re abysmal , well you know how it is when they get in a tizz. You see Bizzy Baker she’s a bright spark and her mutt Sherlock Bones is great in the dark. Bizzy can read people’s thoughts and speak with the animals. When hosting her mother’s Thanksgiving party at the Cottage Inn in Cider Cover but there’s sinister happening around the corner when the Pomeranians lead to a discovery her and Jasper and the gang lead a mystery hunt for a killer.immersive cosy and well written.

I am in my fall reading season, which, of course, has to include cozy fall themed mysteries! I am a huge fan of this author's and have read many of the books in this series. The premise of the characters is quirky and unique and I was totally engrossed in the story.

Innkeeper Bizzy has an interesting gift - she can hear some people's thoughts some of the time and animal thoughts pretty consistently. This talent has aided her in some of her many adventures through the series, and this time proved no different.

Bizzy and her mother are hosting a Friendsgiving dinner for her mother's high school friends. One of the guests doesn't make it through dinner. Bizzy overhears a few conversations, but her gift doesn't allow her to differentiate voices, so she doesn't know who is saying the questionable things. Thus, Bizzy embarks on a bit of detective work...

I have to say, I'm usually pretty good at guessing who the culprit is in mystery books, but this one surprised me!.

It's Thanksgiving time in Cider Cove, Maine. Bizzy Baker owns and runs the Country Cottage Inn that her mother, Ree, and her friend, Georgie have taken over for the night. They've invited all their old high school friends to a Friendsgiving Party. Everyone's reliving their pasts and enjoying fabulous food and desserts like Pumpkin Cheesecake (Recipe at the end of the book...yum!)
Bizzy steps outside and discovers that one of the attendees has passed.
She's determined to get to the bottom of what happened and why. Her husband, Jasper, is a detective with the local Sheriff's Department and he doesn't want Bizzy involved at all. Of course, Bizzy doesn't listen and does her own investigation. Can she follow the clues and solve the case? Or will she get into trouble and danger?
Addison Moore & Bellany Bloom have done it again with this newest, highly entertaining mystery I think you'll enjoy this book as much as I did.

A very good entertaining cozy murder mystery. Bizzie is the main character and the amateur slueth in this enjoyable series. She loves animals, works hard and has a special supernatural talent of reading minds including animals. The many characters can be hard to keep track of especially since everyone seems to be related and or in some type of relationship with others. The murder mystery is well written with several suspects to investigate. Be prepared to be hungry as you read as delicious food is described and consumed throughout the story.

Life for Bizzy is interesting, to say the least. A power to hear other peoples thoughts, talk to animals along with a few who know her secret. At a gathering of life long friends for a Thanksgiving feast, it seems some have turned into frenemies along the way. Bizzy is hosting the event, but a murdered attendee on her beach does nothing for business. This tosses Bizzy into the investigation. Even with hearing thoughts, will she be able to find out who killed the owner of the pommies Chestnut and Acorn? This series is adorable and the fur babies add to the enchanting way Ms. Moore spins a story.

A fun holiday mystery.

Bizzy Baker is hosting her mother’s Friendsgiving celebration for all her old school friends at the Country Cottage Inn. It’s a banquet full of joy until the moment when Bizzy finds a corpse. Is it murder? Bizzy is on a mission to find out with the help of Sherlock Bones, Fish, and her handsome homicide detective husband.

What a fun cozy! Bizzy’s furry buddies always have a running commentary to add to the investigation. Georgie is out of control, as usual. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

Bizzy suspects murder, and using her mind reading ability, sets out to uncover the frenemy at the reunion.

Another fun and frantic cozy from Addison Moore. Filled with her signature quirky characters, delicious food, adorable pets, and plenty of red herrings, this read is delightful. The mystery works well as a standalone if this is your first visit to Cider Cove. Longtime readers, though, will be pleased with the newest development in Bizzy’s life. Pour yourself a pumpkin spiced latte or spiced cider, slice a piece of pumpkin cheesecake, and settle in for a fantastic fall read.

This is book 27 of Country Cottage Mysteries. I really like these cozy mysteries because it has to do with magic and hear animals talk. What is better than just a holiday party with older people but one that is murdered outside. I always wanted to know what animals are saying but after this I may not want to know everything. This is a fun cozy holiday book.

Such a cute story!

I love these cozy mysteries that Addison Moore and Bellamy Bloom write! As the title indicates, it is Thanksgiving in Cider Cove, and Bizzy’s mother and Georgie are using the Country Cottage for a Friendsgiving party. But when one of the friends who came ends up mysteriously dead, Bizzy, who can hear the thoughts of others – especially the pets – goes on a mission to find out what happened to them.

This is a quick, fun and interesting read with quirky characters, cute animals, friendship, family and mouthwatering food. I really like Bizzy's ability to read thoughts, even when it does land her in danger. Once again she is investigating a murder with the help of her cute animals. Really enjoyable and fun story.

It was fun to meet Bizzy, Jasper and the rest of the crew as she tries to plan her wedding while hosting a friendsgiving meal for her mother and then a murder is added to the menu. This kept me laughing as I tried to solve the mystery along with all the crew.

I’m so hooked on this series! I haven’t had the chance to read all of them but the ones I have read are awesome. This was a great story. I can only imagine how good the rest of the series is. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing for myself. Highly recommend reading this book.

Bizzy uses her mind-reading skills to solve a murder. It's all fun, games and turkey trotting until she finds her own life in peril. This is an enjoyable addition to the Country Cottage Mysteries. It can be read as a standalone. The entire series is full of charm. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
