A devastating critique of materia!ism, based on science and logic
The learned doctor introduces the concept of Universal Information (UI), distinguishing it from Shannon's statistcal measures and other types of info. In a very readable demonstration of logic he provides clear definitions, presents scientific laws governing UI and supports his claims that UI is a non-material entity that can only be produced by an intelligent source. This conclusively refutes the hypothesis that life with the supremely complex organisation of UI that we find in DNA could have originated by chance in some unknown pond-scum.

There is so much good information in this book. Dr. Gitt's thoughtful arguments about Universal Information certainly pushed me to the limits of my brain power, but since he was talking about the Bible also, there were of course moments of great simplicity and clarity. I especially loved how he beautifully explained the mechanism God built into Creation for us to use to speak to Him. It can use any language or thought, nothing will be blocked or lost in translation, and He even gives us words to say and knows our deepest longings. That explanation really moved me.
