Good Girl

Rate this book
I’ve always been a good girl . . . Until I got pregnant -- and realized I didn't have any idea whose baby I was carrying!

My mom instilled all the right values in me.
I’m hard-working, loyal and kind.
I’m inexperienced at twenty-three years old . . .
Until I walk into three separate lecture halls -- and three different professors -- catch my eye.

Derek teaches Modern Literature and is under investigation by the board . . . But all I can think about is his chiseled, clean-shaven jaw and -- how his inner calmness must make him very passionate behind closed doors.

Samuel is the bad boy in my trio -- a professor of Ethics and Morals . . . He’s also the one who noticed me right away, kickstarting his gentle obsession with my well-being.

Matt is the Dad of their friendship group. Strong, burly and warm . . . I never feel safer than I do in his arms or -- on the back of his motorcycle, -- because I know he’ll never let anything bad happen to me.

Given how gorgeous my irresistible professors are -- I’m still shocked they picked me -- a curvy, petite student who’s never done a bad thing in her life.
But how will they react to my baby news?

After all . . . any one of them could be the father . . .

"Good Girl" is a full-length, standalone 'why choose' romance novel. Follow gorgeous BBW Charlotte as she finds love (and babies!) with three older, dominant professors. Intended for readers 18+.

The FMC’s “friends” and “mother” are pure trash… to the point where my heart rate monitor kept warning me. I can’t imagine those kind of awful people being the “ones that cared”. My heart goes out to the FMC for dealing with their crap.

So nice to see that men do like 'curvy' women. Just the right amount of drama, thrill, steam, and fluff.

We all knew her mom wasn't ever going to stop being a self-righteous bigot who couldn't see her daughter as anything but flawed and fat. Not surprised one bit that the epilogue said nothing about Grandma. Doubt very much that sanctimonious woman would come down off of her high horse for anyone let alone grandchildren. Besides as messed up as she was as a mom, I find it hard to believe that she could even be halfway decent as a grandmother. And despite all that Charlotte turned out to be one of the most loving and caring people on the planet.

Very happy that Charlotte found three men to be the loves of her life. The HEA is sweet, cute, and utterly adorable when you add the babies into the mix.

Well, where exactly do I start? This book was a horrible ride; I only finished it because I clearly don't love myself. I have already read other books from this author—they were not that bad. They were kind of funny, yes, bad but a fun experience. This one was just bad.

All the dialogues made me feel so cringey. I rolled my eyes so many times that I thought I was going blind!

The main character has very low self-esteem, but it doesn't get better. I get it—all her life people told her very bad things about her. But if I were one of those men, I'd be running away from her. It is horrible to be in a relationship with people like her. They didn't respond to her for minutes, and the first thing she thinks is, "They don't like me and are going to discard me." Girrrrrllll, have you stopped to think that people work and have personal lives?????

Another problem was the fact that Samuel and Matt (especially Matt) were so poorly written. They barely appear in the book; they are there only to make Charlotte feel even more loved (because she's soooo not loved I'm not joking here, this girl has a lot of problems, but the fact that she is always around people who clearly hates her is an extra). Clearly, the main relationship is between her and Derek.

About the end (there won't be spoilers):
It is so shallow. All the big problems got so freaking small, and everything got resolved with just one phrase. C'mon, WTF? The whole book was about those problems, and then they are nothing??? Girl, this is bad writing.

Another thing: if you are expecting the whole book to revolve around the pregnancy, you are wrong. The pregnancy is just something that happened. I don't think it was a good idea to put that in the title because it can make people (like me) think that it's some main plot when it is not.

Anyway, I don't recommend the book. There are better books out there with the same plot that are actually funny to read and provide a good experience.

Charlotte, Derek, Matt & Samuel

Charlotte has always been a good girl and followed the rules. However, when Derek takes over her literature class things start changing for her. Derek is stunned when he sees the young woman, he had been watching the night before in a club. Sparks fly between them and its not long before Derek makes a move. She meets Matt and Samuel through Derek and soon they were joining them for some steamy moments. Its not long before they know that they want something more with Charlotte. Yet when someone threatens to expose them and tries to hurt Charlotte everything comes to a head. Will she stay with them? Will they get into trouble?

This is a steamy story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

BDSM Meets Happy Ending.

For any girl who has ever felt small, fat, scared, hurt. This is your story.
The main character has so many voices around her, telling her their versions of her, she can’t find her own voice, or her own self.
There are always people who will try to lift themselves up by putting someone else down. And when you try to assert your boundaries, they become angry by their loss of power over you.
That should have been the name of this book. Discovering boundaries.
Trigger warnings: abusive mother, abuse of religion for the purpose of control, female bully, blackmail, attempted murder. Stalking.
I’m not putting sex scenes of BDSM as a trigger. The book says it’s a reverse harem. The scenes described in the book are positive and non harmful, as is my understanding of a true BDSM relationship.

This book had all the makings of a great erotic romance, but it fell a bit flat with the characterisation and emotions. If there were more scenes where Charlotte interacted with the men and got to know them beyond the bedroom, it would have made their love confessions even sweeter. But because the men weren't interested in more than sex (though they claimed to), I didn't fully end up rooting for them all to be happy together. I did like the way the author wrote Charlotte's insecurities and low self-esteem; it was very effective at making us feel for her. Also, the cover made me think it was going to be a normal student/teacher reverse harem romance, so I was pleasantly surprised it was a CURVY student/teachers reverse harem romance.

Thanks to Booksprout for a copy.

I'm currently only 24% in and the author is kinda created a really whiny self depreciating character. I get the character will probably grow but it's overkïll how much the fmc has crapped on herself and how much other people in her life is crapping on her. I get what the authors trying to do but there is such a thing as to much angst .. one can only feel so much of it when reading, and my meter is through the roof on how annoyed its got me and im just basically started reading it....
I also thought I'd be reading a book where the plus size character had maybe a little back bone but that's most definitely not happening until probably the end in a little to late type of situation.

Couldn't get past page 74. It could be good just not for me...

Matt and Samuel seemed like side characters that were there for the sake of calling this a Reverse Harem. The relationship was mainly Derek and Charlotte.

I dont understand why they didn't understand why Charlotte felt the way she did during that week before exams. They know she hates being at home and even ended up coming back early but didn't question why? They are also well aware of how insecure she is and how much shes struggling emotionally with being wanted by them, and they thought that all three of them falling back from her at the same time was going to be all good for her? They're all confused as to why she has an attitude 🙄 😒

The spice was 🌶🌶🌶.🌶/5

I wanted to see Paul and Haley get their karma. Same for her mom. All three were bitches.

Mostly told from the heroine's perspective, this student-professor romance is well-paced and easy to connect to. As long as the tropes work for you, this is an easy yes. There is no third-act breakup. The taboo, outside world knows about us, catch that happens in all student-teacher romances was well developed and not predictable. I connected with Charlotte's (heroine) struggles in university, her relationship with her mother, and the developing romance with the heroes. This was by first experience with the author's writing but it won't be my last.

Charlotte's the curvy good girl, college student who falls for three handsome professors - Derek, Samuel, and Matt. They come be to her only sources of happiness and peace, while her evil BFF, awful mother, and psycho ex make her life a living hell.

The plot was twisty and maybe a little over the top, but it still made for a good read. The sweet moments were so sweet and the spicy moments were spicy good 😍 I wish there was more building of their replationships though. It seemed kind of shallow and instant to me, but Cullen had a great way of writing and had me loving all the characters you're supposed to love and REALLY hating all the ones you were meant to hate 😅

This is a great book if you are into some extreme sex scenes. If you are not then this is not the book for you. The storyline is good. Derek is Charlotte's literature professor. He is extremely good looking and he notices Charlotte in one of his classes. He introduces her to Samuel and Matt. Charlotte cannot believe that these three gorgeous professors are interested in her. I think Lisa Cullen did a great job with her story and her storyline. She did a fantastic job with her characters.

Charlotte (h), an innocent, curvy student, finds herself entangled with not one but three irresistibly handsome professors: Derek (H), Samuel (H), and Matt (H). Charlotte's struggles in university, her complex relationship with her mother, her ex ,her supposed friend, and her evolving romance with the trio of professors. The hot and steamy action for Charlotte and her three lovers is electric and intense. Loved when Charlotte finally told off those who needed to be told what's what. Ultra-hot and steamy RH romance with side of intrigue, danger, angst, and a secret baby.

This was quite the story for Charlotte and I was thrilled to see her work her way to a wonderful HEA. She has a few struggles to deal with - her wretched mother, her ex and her supposed best friend. Adding in a strong and steamy connection to three professors really shook up her world ;P I love that they appreciated her curves and gave her so much love. Their HEA was sweet and I loved the cute factor of the babies. That being said, Charlotte got to close some doors on those trying to dim her light. That was truly fab!

This story has an interesting inexperienced College student and her Professor's Secret Romance Story. This Book 2 in The Forbidden Reverse Harem Book Series a realistic story, Bullying, threats of exposure and unexpected pregnenacy. This story has unique characters with untriguing histories, engaging personalities and believable interactions. I enjoyed reading how the characters interacted throughout this entrancing surprise baby reverse harem story.

Good plot

The story was good the steamy scenes are pretty hot, but the Main Female Character is not so good, this is only the second book I've read by this author but it seems that both the MFC are exactly the same , I don't know if they are just dumb or really selfish, but to not confront the problem so you don't lose the three dudes you're doing doesn't make sense, but does make a bigger mess which I guess makes for good reading but for me it makes it hard to sympathize with her.

3.5/5 🌶️

I mean talk about fantasy where your 3 professors are young and hot and then they all share like this and the sex is all over the place, "Wanna a taste?" Oh my!

Feel like the logline gives away the ending too much, cuz she gets pregnant 2/3 way through the story (not that it is much story). I also like that she is not described as petite, she is supposed to be curvy, "bigger" and for the women in her life, they keep saying she needs to loose weight but these men see her for sexy which is rare in fiction and often times, unfortunately, non-fiction.

This is my second Lisa Cullen book and I enjoyed it. There is just something about a taboo romance between a student/professor and throw in a reverse harem and I am all in. The story hooked me and I couldn't put it down. The only thing I wish would have happened is if Charlotte would have slapped her mom for the way she treated her lol.

This a sweet and steamy reverse harem story about Charlotte and her three sexy professors, Derek, Samuel and Matt. Charlotte has always been a good girl but has insecurity and self-esteem issues. Mostly because her horrible mother draws attention to her daughters "flaws" but her "best friend" and Paul aren't much better. Derek, Samuel and Matt all three men think her curves are beautiful and make her feel special. This is a cute, erotic read that is interesting and fun.

From shy and quiet to confident

Charlotte was a quiet follow the rules type of girl. Then when she meets her new professor he seems to bring out the bad girl in her. She likes what he does to her and then two more come alive g and show her what it means to be treated with respect and love.

This was a great read and if you like reverse harems, you will love this. It’s not your typical foursome!

Cover doesn't match

This is a book about a very insecure plus size girl - who looks nothing like this cover. Nothing. Maybe she has blonde hair? But it is kind of sad to me when authors do that, bc she wasn't written curvy. She was written plus size.

So while the story was ok, it was distracting to me.

And while the sex scenes are hot ... Her first time in a college classroom was just completely unbelievable.

Whimsically over the top spice does not save this one.

I love a good reverse harem as much as the next gal but this one fell short. There were a few entertaining spots and I actually finished it so that's why I'm giving it two stars. Honestly, the fact the I got past the cover was kind of a miracle in itself.
However, if you like curvy virginal mentally abused heroines who go from uber innocent to wtf in the first fifty pages then this one's for you.

Good, but

Very well written and entertaining story. I loved the characters and their personalities. The storyline was believable and had an excellent pace. But.
I had a problem with the very predatory vibes in the beginning. There was no consent or communication beforehand and they tumbled her headlong into very intense situations she had no clue were coming. Definite trigger warnings needed.

Charlotte

Holy moly!!! This book had it all. I absolutely loved Charlotte. She had a horrible home life after her father died, she had a horrible best friend and not to mention her crazy Ex boyfriend. Charlotte didn't deserve all that stuff, however I am happy she finally got to free her secrets and chase after what she really wanted. This book has love, suspense, spice and drama.

This was such a food read. Such strong characters.
I did not expect half the turns the book took, which really kept me hooked.
I loved the POV from each of the men, however would have liked more of it.
Would definitely recommend this for anyone who loves a good reverse harem romance.

Typos galore

The story had substance, but I absolutely hate when bigger FMCs are all about their weight. Own it, I envy the idea of curves.

Also, the author used the wrong name for the character no less than three times. And didn't type out two words, instead just used the first letter of the word. Almost as a placeholder.

I've read several books written by Lisa Cullen; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.

This is part of the Forbidden Reverse Harem Collection; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Charlotte, Derek, Matt & Samuel; they are her professors.
