Attention all new parents/parents-to-be, this book is a MUST READY. Moms on Call was founded by two pediatric nurses who between them have 10 children! They are experts in the arena of raising happy and healthy children. This book is specifically geared towards new parents and teaches you all of the essentials including- how to give your baby a bath, what you will need in your medicine cabinet for illnesses, the best cure for diaper rashes, which white noise machine to use, and most importantly how to get your baby on a regular eating and sleeping schedule. My husband and I have a 4mo. old baby. We used the schedules in this book starting the week after we brought our daughter home. Miraculously- she started sleeping through the night by the end of her fourth week. No one believes us, but it is true! We are constantly referring to the book for tips and whenever our daughter's reached an age milestone when her schedule changes (they have more awake time as they get older & we just started with rice cereal at the 4mo. mark). I HIGHLY recommend this book for new parents. We give this book to all of our friends having baby showers. It's an essential read for any first time parent.
