I thought I had escaped the demons of my past. For ten years I lived a life of relative peace, got an education and a great job, and worked on healing myself all while hiding right under the nose of the very people I had run from. Life was good. But then the head of the Bratva turned himself in and would only speak to me.
My life began to unravel as people from my past returned, those I thought I could trust betrayed me and men I should run from became my biggest temptation yet.
One thing I know for certain, my life is full of lies, and lies always find a way to be free...
*These Sinful Lies is the fourth and final book in the Sinners Bay series. It is why choose romance meaning the heroine doesn't have to choose between her men and ends with a HEA. This is technically a standalone set within the same world though the events do take place after the first three books and is best enjoyed read in order. This is a dark romance so please read the author's notes for content warnings.
Sinful Lies ❤️ by Elizabeth Bardot This is the final book in the Sinners Bay series and I have to say it was bittersweet. Where I loved this book I was also so sad to see the series ending. Yet again I was transfixed by these Characters and found myself rooting for them the entire time. I wanted to hug Rosslyn and give her all my love. This chick is a rock star and in true Elizabeth fashion a kick ass woman. I am never let down when reading one of Elizabeth's books. She really knows how to make you connect to her characters. The guys once again make you swoon and want them for yourself. Yet another time I am jealous of a fictional woman 😆 but then again who doesn't need more book boyfriends? Am I Right? 😏🙃 So with all this being said I may be sad to see Sinners Bay end but I can't wait to read her next book Devils Tooth Ridge!! I am sure it's going to be an amazing ride!
Elizabeth Bardot did it again. This was such an amazing read. If you have any triggers, please heed the list.
Roslyn had lived a strange life. After escaping a religious cult, she ends up smack in the sight of the Russian Bratva. Mostly because she had been part of the religious cult. Gabriel and Mikhail are trying to use her as bait to get to the head of the cult. If they do this, they are free
When she finds Gabriel, who had also been part of the cult, she feels like a pawn in a giant game. With the help of Anatoly can they become free and love who they want how they want.
I found this book a bit darker than the previous in this series and I loved it! This book had all the favourite things of the previous ones - fast moving story, lots of action and amazing characters who have chemistry that grabs you from off the page. This author has an amazing way to how she writes reverse harems and I just love them. To me, she is a queen in this trope and this as all of her other books are a must read!
Ms. Bardot, you are always getting us into all the feels, and trouble, and sexy times. But yowza, Gabriel, Anatoly, And Mikail are hot, woman. I mean 5 alarm fire, no pun intended, hot. Rosslyn, Little Rose, Kisa, Zaika stood zero chance against them.
I will love the Hallow Bay boys forever. I couldn’t stop, every single book in this series I devoured every last word! Well the time has come, this is the end, I’m not sure how i will move one from this…. Until your next book….xoxox - Laura
1.5* Parts were enjoyable, but it’s the worst one yet for the writing.
Parts of this book were better than the others, but parts were a lot worse. At least it had a tiny plot, admittedly it’s a stupid and crazy plot. Rose and Gabriel both grew up in a religious cult where they were both badly treated in different ways. When Gabriel sees Rose years later and they have a wild night of sex, Gabriel betrays her and uses her to catch her father. In a crazy plot that involves the Bratva holding Mikhail who is Gabriel’s sort of lover, hostage. Phew did you understand all of that? For some bizarre reason that I can’t understand, Rose forgives Gabriel, Anatoly and Mikhail for using her and endangering her life and they all fall madly in love.
Then there’s the mistakes. Where do I start with this bad this was? It’s really badly written in every possible way.
1) No speech marks to show who is talking. 2) No capital letters at the beginning of sentences. 3) Grammer is non existent. 4) THIS IS THE WORST ONE. Author seriously expects us to believe that Rose who has been sexually abused and raped doesn’t have any triggers, when Anatoly calls her a who*e and a slut during sex. 5) Anatoly brutally f*cks Rose and it’s painful but she still enjoys it. IS THIS AUTHOR A MAN? I can’t believe that any woman would write that.
While I enjoyed tiny parts of this book, I couldn’t in all conscience recommend it to anyone.
It is hard to explain where the next group comes from because there are a lot of revelations that tie them to people they did not know. I think that this is the darkest book in the series. Everyone seems to be out for themselves. Even the guys that join together are either forced into the this life or need it as an outlet. This book also opens up with the MM relationship pretty quickly. Like it is already in place before they find the woman that steals their heart. This one is hard and dirty from the beginning. Anatoly, Gabriel, and Mikhail are associated with the Russian Bratva. They have been the force in the background, now they are the focus. It is not the way readers would think if they have been reading this series.
Rosslyn Davis had a rough life and had to do a lot to walk away from that life. She has become a psychologist specializing in sexology. She used her studies to get deal with her own traumas. She is a the police station at the request of Ivan Kozlov, the current head of the Bratva. The Bratva's reasons are unknown to Rosslyn but they are pulling out all the stops. This means keeping her under surveillance. Gabriel and Rosslyn have history and he is the reason she was on the Bratva's radar in the first place. Anatoly is the man close to her in the shadows and Mikhail is the man behind the computer screen.
All of these men get begin to want and need Rosslyn in different ways. They each provide Rosslyn with what she so desperately needs. Control with a some danger. Rosslyn is fierce just like all the other ladies in this series. Don't worry we get to see all of our favorite families. They are still trying to keep Sinner's Bay safe especially from this new threat that seems to be a little bit more reckless. Everyone is suspicious as to why the head of the Russian Bratva would willing turn himself in to the police. Rosslyn is the key and must be protected at all costs.
So much is going down in this book. A lot of twists and turns that are very unexpected. There are a lot of characters. Some readers know intimately. Some readers know very little about. All of this comes right back to the Redvue company. Readers will finally found out who is behind it and why it was created. Just like all the books in the series, I was captivated the whole time. I loved Rosslyn. I loved her story. She is a force and I can't wait to hear more about her and her guys.
I was so excited for this book after reading and loving the other books in this series and I can say it didn’t disappoint.
When we meet Rosslyn she is running from her past and hoping she can hide in plain sight, but a chance meeting brings her past and present clashing together. Gabriel is like a ghost from Rosslyn’s past who brings her world crashing down around her and he forgive himself for that or the past. Anatoly is the strong, brooding type who wants Rosslyn from the moment he sees her but is worried he will break her. Mikhail is the computer guy who has his own demons and problems but can’t help but find himself drawn to Rosslyn.
Seeing each of the characters evolve into who they are meant to be while learning to deal with their personal problems is fantastic. Watching them learning to lean on each other and open up themselves to become a solid group brought up all sorts of emotions, there were good times and bad times that they dealt with as a group.
I’m sorry to see the series finish as I really enjoyed all the books but I’m looking forward to reading more by the author.
If you’re looking for a spicy, emotional mafia romance then you won’t be disappointed with this.
Wow. As the final instalment of this series, this was the finale we needed. Now am I sad that Katerina won’t get her own book in this series, yes since I feel she will fit in well with these bad ass ladies but I get she doesn’t really fit the vibe right now. Maybe she will get her own HEA someday. Now the current group, they did such a good job of solving this ongoing mystery we’ve been following this whole series (for that reason these can’t be a stand alone really unless you’re okay not knowing the previous stuff that’s happened). This whole redemption arc between Gabriel and Rosslyn was bitter sweet. Heart breaking but also so satisfying when they could finally find that resolution between each other. Mikhail was the perfect go between for them and really the healing piece for Gabriel. Now Anatoly I think is my favourite out of the three but really the whole dynamic is great. And really the whole underlying plot is redemption and healing. Such a great ending, especially getting to see previous character from other books. I hope we get more slice of life books since I’m not ready to say goodbye to these guys yet.

"After escaping a cult and an abusive marriage Rosslyn has rebuilt her life, but will a chance encounter with her first love place everything she has fought for in jeopardy? Gabriel promised to come back for Rosslyn and save her, but never did. Now that he has found her again he is willing to place her life int he balance to defeat an old enemy. Rosslyn is drawn to Gabriel, Mikhail, and Anatoly. Is their love worth risking everything or are they just using her for bait?
I loved this book and I love the world that Elizabeth has built. I flew through this book and cannot wait to go back and read the others in the series. I highly recommend reading this book. It is part of a series, but can be read as a stand alone.
* Dark Romance * Mafia * Reverse Haram * Touch Her and Die * Bi-Awakening * Primal Play * Breeding Kink
Triggers: Religious Trama, DV, SA of FMC, Violence; Death"
I don't know why this series has such a high rating. The characters don't evolve, they always remain the same throughout the story, and the description of their physical appearance is practically nonexistent.
It's a very very fast burn, in all four books the protagonist wants a child at all costs and the men who have known her for not even a week say "yes absolutely yes, of course we want a child with you." I don't know, maybe it's just me who doesn't like this type of story, but also the plot, the "mafia" part is pointless. The "plot twists," which always involve the FMC being kidnapped, are concentrated in the last 80% of the book and this means that on a narrative level it is described horrendously.
And as if that wasn't enough, the author sometimes names the characters wrong, as if she forgot which POV she's writing from.
I give this series one last chance with the next book.
These Sinful Lies is the final book in the Sinners Bay series and is Rosslyns story. I hate to see this series end! Book 1 of this series was my introduction to this author and I can't tell you enough how incredibly happy I am to have found her. These books are so well written, the characters relatable and the storyline flawless. Rosslyn, Mikhail, Gabriel and Anatoly have a great dynamic between them you can't help but get caught up in their world. Each of these guys bring something to the table that Rosslyn needs and she brings something to complete each of them. As with the other books, the fmc is absolutely kick a*^ and can definitely hold her own. While I'm sad this series is done for now (never say never) I'm excited for Devil's Tooth Ridge.
These Sinful Lies is the last book for the Sinners Bay series so you will want to read the others before picking this one up. Once again Elizabeth does a phenomenal job at creating and telling the stories of captivating and intriguing characters with a full world and setting! As readers we get to experience these characters as if we are actively part of the story. These Sinful Lies is a great end to this story and recommend for anyone wanting and engaging and spicy mafia romance!

I’m disappointed the last two books were substantially shorter than the first 2. It made the pacing of the romance way too fast and just killed a bit of the greatness the first 2 had. There were also soooo many typos, specifically capitalization on proper nouns and the first word in a sentence, along with some other errors. That was the main reason for the 4 out of 5, even when I gave the other book 5 stars. Book 3 was only 4.5 because of the shortness and typos, though I almost did give it 4. I really enjoyed this series, but am definitely disappointed by the length because of how it poorly impacted the stories; the characters and readers deserved a bit more than we got, especially with how instalove everything was.
Loved it! This book had my attention from start to finish! With a few twists and turns and some major revelations. I didn't want to stop reading! We got a few of my favorite tropes too. Like mafia, found family, and why choose. There was action, suspense, lots of emtions and lots of steam throughout. Rosslyn was a great FMC. She is tough, confident and has bit of sass Gabriel, Anatoly, Mikhail I loved each of them. Each character had thier own trauma or darkness. It was beautiful seeing them healing. Together they were what they each needed. I think this was a great read! I look forward to reading more of Elizabeth Bardot's work!
Having read the rest of the sinners Bay series, I really wasn't sure how this book would live up to the standard in my head, but just wow. The insight you get in this book to Katrina and the Russian Bratva, and how the boys are tied in, it was not what I was expecting. I began the book hating Gabe, Anatoly, and Mikhail for their interactions with Rosslyn, but the further you get into the story and how everything came to be, the more you start to understand it all. Rosslyn is one dynamite gal, to have been through hell and back, but still be the fiery chick we see in this story. I'm so glad the book had the ending it did! An amazing finale to a great series.
These Sinful Lies is Book 4, and the final installment of the Sinners Bay Series, and all good things must come to an end eventually. This is Rossyln’s story and boy is it a page turner. She is a strong-willed woman who is on the run from her past, but it ends up catching up with her. However, she kicks it in the bum. This book has deceit, action, and a lot of spice. Im sad the series is over but it’s one I will read again and again.
As always be mindful of any trigger warnings, what I like you may not.
This is the fourth and final book in the Sinner’s Bay series and I am not okay with that. It is a MMMF novel.
Rosslyn has been on the run and hiding from her ex. When she is used as a bargaining chip, she is brought back to her first love. Or loves I should say. 😏
This book had me all in the feels and I absolutely loved this series. I refuse to accept that it’s over and will probably write a letter demanding Ms. Elizabeth Bardot write more. 🥰
So sad this series is over. It was so good. This one had Rosslyn as the main character. She grew up very sheltered from the real world and she went through a lot. She finally escaped her father. She never knew her mother but you find out later on in the book who she was. This had Mikhail, Anatoly and Gabriel as the other main characters. They all had their own troubled past. This is a must read series. All the books are intertwined. Gabriel and rosslyn grew up together. Gabriel found her 10 years later. She was so angry with him. I won’t spoil the main parts.
This was the last book in the series and my favorite one! All the spice and chemistry between the characters had me like 🤤 the whole time! This is a RH but you also learn of a relationship between a couple between two of the hot male characters. 😏 This is a standalone, but I would recommend reading the first three so when you finally get all the answers you understand what you’re reading. I’m so sad for the series to be over, but this was such a great way to end it. These characters were the perfect way to end it!
I loved this book! This is Rosslyn's story & what a story to tell! This is the final book in the Sinner's Bay series & I've loved them all! Rosslyn & her guys have been through so much, each individually & as a group & I'm so happy they all got their HEA. A mystery was solved & of course the spice was freaking awesome!! Secrets come out & a lot of things happen! Highly recommend this series & author!!
I was heart broken to find out this would be the last book in the series. Rosslynn's story played on my heartstrings. I believe she is my favorite now. I was so upset with Gabriel for not keeping his promise {you'll half to read it to find out what he promised Rosslynn}. I love this series it is a must read!!!!
I liked the story in context with the series, but I’m way less invested in the characters in this book and some parts feel rushed and even poorly constructed, as if a chapter was missing here and there. I had hoped for more.
