About the author

Kelly Lester is a singer and actress with over three decades of stage, film, and TV credits (KellyLester.com). She is also a successful entrepreneur with no formal business training. In 2009 she founded her second company, EasyLunchboxes.com, which was born out of her innate ability to do things efficiently while on a shoestring budget, and her desire to send her daughters to school with waste-free, healthy lunches. With no money for advertising, Kelly turned to social media. Relying solely on word-of-mouth-marketing, she grew her sales via positive blog reviews and lots of "likes".

I found this in the lending library near my house and was instantly pulled in by the gorgeous cover. I've been trying to read more poetry so I figured I'd pick it up.

My expectations weren't high for it, as I am a bit picky about poetry, but this collection blew me away. Absolutely beautiful. Lester creates some truly lovely images as well as covering various topics including motherhood, enjoying nature, and experiencing life in general. A very nice collection that is quick and easy, but filled with beauty and inspiration.
