Awesome collection of short stories. There really is something for everyone in here, I enjoyed all the stories, some more than others but all had their own merits, some were average some were really awesome. Some original some plain crazy. Check it out and make your own mind up
This one was a toughy for me, not reading it but reviewing it. I feel like it's slightly unethical to review a book that has my name listed as an author (shameless plug right here) but in the end, it's a massive anthology filled with a plethora of fantastic writers that it seems worse to strip my thoughts on their work.
This is a doozy of a book. It's massive, filled to the gills with a wide variety of stories that bring so many different voices together and really explore a ton of different topics. Like most anthologies, there are always those that stick out more than others, both for positive and negative reasons, and I couldn't help but fall in love with this collection. It's beautiful, dark, twisted, and really was cool to see how many different authors presented their craft between the covers.
I would recommend this book and enjoyed my exploration through it's heavy pages. I'm also going to snag the 2nd volume because if 1 was this good, I'm excited to see what 2nd has to share too.
