Marissa Moss has written more than seventy books, from picture books to middle-grade and young adult novels. Best known for the Amelia's Notebook series, her books are popular with teachers and children alike. Her picture book Barbed Wire Baseball won the California Book Award gold medal. Finally one of my younger siblings has entered the Amelia Obsession, and so I have an excuse to re-read everything!! I found this one especially interesting as an adult embroiled in Internet drama and Internet misinformation. It holds up nicely and reminds me why I loved & love the Amelia books-- colorful, honest, and written with care. Now to return it covertly to the stack of library books...!
