Such an amazing read ! If you love Harry Potter and anything Fantasy! This is the book for you! You see Aria Chesler and her new friends on a journey after she is enrolled in Enchanting Academy.

⭐️ 3.5 this was a very fun read and I really enjoyed taking a couple days to read it! Pros first, I really loved the world building and the magic system of this book. While it was very simplistic, it was very well written and I had a lot of fun learning about all the different magical creatures and magic system. I also really enjoyed the diverse cast of characters and their different personalities. The plot was obviously very typical of a book like this as far as the main character discovering she has powers and learning to control them, which I do not mind at all and had fun reading this author’s spin on that plot. The only reason this book was marked down a couple stars for me is that I personally felt that it was a little bit more middle grade geared as far as the writing and the ages/personality of the main characters. They’re all quite young and thus act quite young. The violence was incredibly mild (not a problem just an observation). And it was also just a little bit slow for me personally because things as far as action did not start to build until the last 50 or so pages. But yeah, I had fun reading this book and I am looking forward to reading the next one!

WOW!! This book was amazing. There was so much action and mystery!! I loved the friendship between Aria, Luke, Avi, and Willow they had each other's backs no matter what!! There were some pretty good twists that I was like, "Oh my gosh!!" I don't want to spoil anything, so I can't really go go into everything, I just have so many good things to say about this book! I mean, it was the authors debut book!, and she did a phenomenal job!! So if you're thinking about reading this, please do! You won't regret it!!! I can't wait for the second book!! 💜

Great story! This is Karman's debut novel and follows Aria and her new friends through adventures, challenges, and danger. I enjoyed reading about how magic interacts with them and their world (and their limitations). The workings of their school are fun to read about and I hope they get to spend more time at Incanting Academy in book 2. I enjoyed the pacing of the novel and the transitions from action back to slower scenes were done well.
What I enjoyed most about these characters is that the youngsters act like youngsters--they sometimes snap at each other, have big feelings and even deal with a few anger issues. Aka, teenagers! They don't always know what to do, they act without thinking, forget things, and don't follow directions (but sometimes for good reasons.) The characters were *very* believable and I cannot wait to see what they get into next in book 2. I think the ending might be throwing us off a bit but I'm excited to see if I am correct or not! Great book for middle school/hs students, or anyone who loves magic and adventure.

This is so so so good! I loved this so so much! This writing feels more like it’s written by someone who’s got years and years of experience with publishing and fully edited books! I cannot wait for the next book! This book also gives me motivation to make my work in progress book even better! But anywho! It started off kinda slow. (At first I read 3 chapters then set it back on my shelf for a couple months but then I picked it back up and read it all in what? 3-4 days? So good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously professional! So excited for the next one! Plus I think I’m gonna recommend this book to my cousin! I think she’d love it! I seriously hope that this book series is the next Harry Potter. I hope that when it’s done that we get a movie series or tv series! Whichever is better I don’t care! I just want them to choose the right actors for a movie or tv series! Actors that fit every aspect of the characters! Otherwise I’ll cry! And scream! Anywho! I’m babbling! SUPER GOOD BOOK! If I could I’d give it 10 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10!

I loved this book! It blends ordinary school life with magical adventures, and has so many plot twists that always keep you guessing. The worldbuilding was amazing, with lots of creative locations and fun magical creatures. The characters were relatable and felt like real people you could meet in school. I loved watching the main character Aria grow and become more confident, and how her relationships with her new friends are tested as they face challenges! It was also so fun to try and guess where the plot was going and how the story would end. The story is a bit slow and repetitive in the first half, but it gets so much better as it goes on. I really enjoyed it overall, and I'm so excited to see what Aaralynn writes next!

It is set in the modern day, both in the everyday world and a magical realm (complete with fantastical creatures). If you have read and enjoyed books like A Wrinkle in Time, The Hunger Games, or the Harry Potter series, you will enjoy this book. I have just begun the sequel and am looking forward to continuing the adventures of Aria and her friends. Highly recommended!

This book was amazing!! I could not put it down and I finished it in one sitting. It had me gasping with surprise and squealed with excitement when stuff happened. I can't wait for the second one. Aaralynn Katman is definitely is one of my new favorite authors! I can't wait to see what other books she makes!!
