"Sleep is important. It heals you, recovers energy and sets you up for productivity."
As someone who has an up and down relationship with sleep this comprehensive guide to insomnia was very helpful. It didn't always tell me something new but rather reframed the concepts relating to sleep. It taught me a log about why I sleep so lightly and why being to warm causes me to wake up. I found the sleep assessment included within the book to be helpful. As someone who has explored the fixed vs growth mindset in a work setting, its interesting to consider this in relation to insomnia. I would have liked references as it allows for further insight where needed.
If you also struggle with sleep, then this book will likely be very helpful for you.
The science of sleep is presented along with challenges that one experiences with getting sleep. That's me! I liked this title a lot because I usually wake up in the middle of the night and it's annoying. I was hoping to get some answers from this author. The book is helpful and there were a few things I had not tried before that I plan to put into place. Thanks to NetGalley for the copy in exchange for my review.
This book is easy to read, I was hoping it would have some tips to help get to and stay asleep but didn’t seem to have this for me. Worth a read, it may help you, you never know 🤞
This was a great and informative read! There was a lot that I already knew but it was great learning about more ways to help with my insomnia. Thank you NetGalley and Aubrey Porter for the chance to read this for my honest review.
