Zahara's no stranger to juggling a lot on her plate, but she may have bitten off more than she can chew when she agreed to manage her friend's B&B.

Thankfully, she won't have to do it alone, as her friend's son has decided to pitch in a hand. Nevermind that he's all grown up and making her forget that he's totally, completely and utterly not for her.

Gavin's been infatuated with Zahara since the first time she babysat him. Now that he's in his thirties, he's hoping their relationship might take a turn for the better.

When an unexpected scandal is dropped at their doorstep, this not-a-couple will have to fake their way through the storm.

They're committed to making it to the other side...but will they make it through together?

Author of Passionate, Wholesome Sweet Romances

Quint Ellis enjoys the challenge of penning Wholesome, Clean, Sweet Romances that include a dash of heat, grit and intrigue. All of her novels feature guaranteed HEA's and introverted, enterprising, fallible women who happen to be Christian, who happen to be black and who love inspiring, passionate portrayals of romantic relationships.

When not writing, you'll find her indulging in an audio book, binging a new show, searching for that perfect deal, or assuring her cat and dog that they're the cutest things ever created...ever.

Major instalove going on here. The fake dating part happened at the halfway mark and I don't have patience for this. Their romantic connection happened so quickly from at least 35% so it's not like there was any tension going on between these two. I liked the FMC a lot but that really isn't enough to keep me reading it. There's nothing I hate more than the fake dating trope where they're basically already in love from the get-go. The pacing is not that great, considering that the main plot point was only introduced halfway into the story. Not to mention, this book was pretty boring. Also the writing is super repetitive. The amount of times where someone "wetted their lips" or did any other kind of action was the same words every time. The writing itself wasn't even all that bad, but the pacing just killed this.

This story tackles the age-old questions, "Does age really matter? Does love conquer all?" The main characters are people you would want to have as friends. The are both enjoyable, fun, ambitious, empathetic and loving. Read this book and you'll find out how they are brought together.

Zahara and Gavin Made a perfect match., even though she didn't think so. Gavin had always been in love with his ex-babysitter Zahara. She was only 11 years older than him and to Gavin age was nothing but a number. I loved the way that everything played out. Gavin was a man that any woman would want. I enjoyed reading this story.
