Nice After Five
Years after briefly meeting a woman who'd fled with his heart, Rafael still can't get her out of his mind. But he's got bigger to things to consider as the reluctant publisher of his family's paper, such as ensuring that the paper's new copy editor is a good fit for the company and the town of Fated, Missouri.
Dominique knows full well that she's taking a chance with her new job, particularly given her past work experience. But the paper headed up by Rafael may be her only chance to launch the career she's already sacrificed so much for. Besides, it's not like he'll even remember meeting her years before.

Overall, I liked this book. Rafael meets Dominique one night. They hit it off but part ways. Years later they come across each other. However, things aren't going well. Thankfully, in the end everything works out and they get their happy ending.

Nice After Five by Quint Ellis is the fifth book in the Fated Romance series. Even though it is part of a series, the books in this series can be read as standalones.
One thing I really like about this author’s writing is that her characters are relatable. She sees that size, education, color and background disappear in the face of love. She also sees, that many people struggle to believe that those so-called obstacles are not truly obstacles when it comes to love.
This book is no exception. A chance encounter at a publishing-oriented networking event introduces Domonique and Rafael to each other. Both are enchanted and changed by their meeting. But don’t meet again until four years later. Dominique hides; Rafael seeks. Right up to a genuine Happily Ever After. Oh, and castles may be involved.

This is a sweet and intriguing story. A playful, slow burn romance that I was quickly all in for with this heart warming book. It's a delightful love story with a twist of mystery. You won't be able to put it down.

Heart warming
Each book in the series gets better and better. I love how I can feel the emotions. The editing is great as is the development of the characters and the flow of the story

Lovely Cinderella like story
Dispense reality and dig into a fun fairytale. Faith is lightly mixed in and not tossed aside which is refreshing.

Ms. Ellis has written another great book in this series. Rafael and Dominique are meant to be together. Doninique is trying to run away from her true feelings for Rafael. Rafael is a man that knows what he wants and will not stop until he gets Dominique.
