Ahh another fun T.M. Chris romantic erotica. This one was absurd without being zany and to be honest I kind of missed that side of things.
Single POV, told from Thornton's perspective, which was clever and allowed for a fun reveal at the end and a well-earned punishment. Thornton might initially seem like a useless lump of a boy, but actually turns out to have quite the moral compass and quickly guides the other young men into running a consensual den of iniquity as opposed to forcing the younger boys to service them.
This gets 3 stars in comparison with the rest of T.M. Chris' catalog which I've just enjoyed more. It's still a decent erotic work with impact play, CBT and public scenes of humiliation and sex.

**I received an ARC with the understanding that I would post an unbiased review.**
I wasn't sure how I felt about this at first because it seemed like everyone was a rich jerk and/or was being harassed by another rich jerk. As is often the case with Chris's books, that doesn't turn out to be the case. I ended up liking Puck and Thornton. I did like that Thornton made it a point that everything had to be consensual for everyone. In the end, this is a quick, fun read that is more about the spanking and other games the young men are playing with each other than anything else.

Harkness Finishing Academy for Young Men is for troubled boys slash young men, and Thornton is one of those, banished to this school in England, all the way from the US.
The school is strict, very strict, they always find a reason to punish the students.
Punishment yes, a different kind you will expect. These are bodily punishments, with paddles on bare behinds, that’s not all, there’s more.
Not only are the masters interacting with the young men, but the young men between themselves are too!
The way it’s played is not to Thorn’s likes, there’s only one boy he wants to have for himself, Puck, but his mouth is already occupied.
A nice turn is when Thorn gets all the power and leads the gang in no time, with Puck beside him. Only the balance and the positions are shaken up, how to keep everyone satisfied, especially Puck, that’s the question. Ha! There is enough equipment, you just have to know where to look!
It was a fun lighthearted read, ott, a fuck fest, deliciously entertaining, very enjoyable. Maybe I should mention something about slurs, but I won’t, it was inferior, don’t take it all too seriously.
Thorn and Puck were two wicked, perverted, horny peas in a pod.

I don’t know what I expected but this wasn’t it. This book starts by my feeling Thorton was nothing but a rich spoiled brat. I then felt he was being sent to a sort of military school to give him some structure for his future but it turned out completely different.
This author has the talent for writing interesting characters usually doing the unexpected but Thorton’s time at school is an eye opener. There is quite a bit of punishment and more than one surprise with Punk another student. The outcome of all this behavior is quite entertaining.

When Thornton is sent to England for finishing school, he is shocked and amazed at what goes on in this so-called school that takes away choice and bullies rule. This rubs Thornton the wrong way and like a knight in shining armor he decides to make some changes. I absolutely loved this story and was rooting for Thornton and Puck to find one another. I also loved how Blakely got his comeuppance and Moose got what he wanted. This was a delight to read and I highly recommend you dive in and see how if you see something wrong you have a choice to do something about it!

Bored.. spoiled.. rich or he will be once his trust fund comes in, Thorn is about to be met with something he never dreamt. This was not the type of finishing school Thornton had ever thought of attending. Oh no just who was the top in the this pecking order American or the English Blakely was about to get tought just what was proper and improperly. Would the header or Master Roy step in the middle of the tug-a-war powerplay that was unfolding.

Expect the unexpected in this fun, engaging, naughty story of an American boy's exile to an English 'finishing school' that is more of a boarding/reform school. This story takes hazing and obedience training to a whole new (and fun) level. Is Thornton about to get 'schooled,' or will he turn the tables? Fun entertaining read.

At first , I was getting irked with all the bullying and misuse of corporal punishment etc by staff and bigger upper classmen. I had to chuckle that it took an upstart American boy to point out the inequities and abuses and come up with a solution to it and get the masses to agree to it. Entertaining and enjoyable.

huh?
I don’t get what the heck I just read. It was short yes, but very ridiculous in so many ways. It was so campy and over the top with using BDSM it was cringy. I am not against the school theme, I have read plenty of those but this was rushed with little to no character building. Um. Nope!

I read a lot of implausible m/m books which helped me get over the massive implausibility of this . On the other hand, the amount of consent introduced was a sweet, sweet thing and earned that extra star from me.

I loved this book! Thornton's Dad thinks he will get his boy "whipped (or at least paddled)" into shape. Thornton might have a thing or two so say about that! I don't like to give spoilers so just get the book and be prepared to have a "swinging" time!

Rec from Misha Horne's newsletter and it was very, very enjoyable. Just when it would be about to get dirty - in a bad way - TM Chris would turn it around. Fun erotica is the best erotica. Definitely gonna check out their other books.
