After struggling with infertility for years and being betrayed by her lover, Ella finally decides to have a baby on her own. However everything goes wrong when she gets inseminated with the sperm of intimidating billionaire Dominic Sinclair. All of a sudden her life is turned upside down when the mix up comes to light -- especially because Sinclair isn't just any billionaire, he's also a werewolf campaigning to be Alpha King! He's not going to let just anyone have his pup, can Ella convince him to let her stay in her child's life? And why is he always looking at her like she's his next meal?! He couldn't be interested in a human, could he?
Very lengthy just to be told this is the end of book 1. Not really much detail in this one. A lot of skipped moments/scenes/information. Seems rushed and not put together. I was really hoping for something great.
The continuity breaks this held caused my brain to spiral. I was enjoying the story and now it's like every 5 or so chapters something is changed that redoes everything prior and it's so annoying.
*spoiler referenced/stated below* How does it go from being 5 months pregnant to weeks later and yet suddenly only 3 months pregnant?? But the timeline isn't changed at alllllllllllllll. Chapter 280 especially because the fix isn't a fix it's basically trying to gaslight the readers who paid attention. If you wanted the extra time, make it a full 9month pregnancy instead of a convoluted 6month one instead of trying to recon the previously stated timeline and putting in some weird nonsensical explanation for that retcon.

I mean I’m glad that so far things are starting to work out for Ella and Dominic. I think The War itself, there was going to be more to it.
I want to know what’s the deal with Cora and Roger. Cora especially. Because she’s talking out both sides of her mouth. Cora is jealous of Ella with relationship and having baby.
Wanting the very same thing for herself. But it too scared to a risk on what she really wants. Forgetting that thing you really want in life. Sometimes involves taking a risk.
It will be interesting how it all works out for Cora. And if she will finally give Roger a chance.
This entire series kept me engrossed in the plot. The writing was vivid and imaginative. The only knock was the editing. Lot’s of errors in wording and spelling that can be distracting. I would clean this up before publishing.
I am so.glade I followed the series, excellent plot, intriguing characters. I wished it didn't end but bringing Race into the world was the best ending.
