I read this because I love Christmas books and I have been to Fort Steele many times. It was a cute story, actually had a twist that surprised me, but was, I felt, a bit far fetched that the town would leave a blogger all alone, pretty much, in the town's hotel. A good editing would give it a better flow. But it was a fun, cozy way to spend a rainy weekend.

A Fort Steele Christmas was such a delight to read. I picked it up after hearing about the author/ book would be visiting my local library, and once I started reading, I genuinely couldn’t put it down. It’s a sweet, cozy romance with just the right amount of suspense and humour woven in.

As someone who’s been to Fort Steele and Cranbrook, I loved recognizing the setting and even making little guesses about which “big city” the characters were referencing based on the travel times. It made the story feel even more real and charming.

A wonderful, heartwarming read that I’d highly recommend, especially for older young adult readers looking for something atmospheric, romantic, and fun without being too heavy.

I was given an advance copy of this book. It was a pleasure to read. It has romance, mystery and a great location. The relationships among the people in Eden’s life were realistic. We learn early on about Eden’s life but what is Travis’s story? The interaction between these two characters was intriguing. Fort Steele, a real tourist place in British Columbia, provided the perfect setting for this story. The author did an awesome job personally researching this place. I highly recommend this book.

I read an advanced copy of this book and enjoyed it! There was good character development and the story kept me interested as to how it would unfold. I finished it in 2 sittings which is rare for me. Would recommend.

It was such a joy meeting Bianca in person at her book tour and then being able to read this masterpiece. I love the local themes and of course the hallmark fluffy holiday story. I'm a sucker for these. I really enjoyed it!!

This book was so great. I was completely hooked. I stumbled upon a few spelling errors but was still understandable. It was amazing to read about a place that I live pretty close to.

I really wanted to like this book because it’s by an Albertan author, but this book NEEDED an editor or proofreader. Someone. For example, at one point the main character drops her flashlight in the snow and can’t find it. A few chapters later she grabs it from her hotel room…? I read this for a book club and would not have read it otherwise. At least it was a fast read!
