They say in life that sometimes what you need in life is usually right in front of you. For resident coffee shop owner and sexually in debt Korri Morrison, the saying couldn’t be more true. With an up and down love life transpiring with her strange acting boyfriend Nathan Walker, she often finds herself more curious as to the ongoings of her upstairs neighbor. Barbershop owner and shameless erotic playboy, Kavelle Nations.
One knock across his door soon takes a contentious relationship at best to an entirely different level of wild. In turn changing both entrepreneurs lives forever and creating a game of hidden lust that neither could’ve ever imagined.
Quardeay! You did warn us that we would remember Velle well after this story was done. That was not a lie, cause what the hell man? This ish was crazy as hell, for real for real! 🤯 Although Velle was a mess, and wrong for messing with Justina, there was just something about him; that drew you in. He was just so smooth with it, that before you knew it, he had you in his clutches.
Korri! Ma'am, you know you should have left that no good ass Nate a long time ago! There were just too many red flags that you chose to ignore! I knew he was probably creeping but damn, was not expecting THAT! 😂
Both Korri and Velle had been tap dancing around their attraction for a minute. Time and opportunity presented itself, for them to spend a lil time together. Lo and behold, they have a connection, and lots of things in common. Velle is finally ready to take a woman seriously and give her his all. Korri is happy, as Velle is really a decent guy, that is giving her weed/tequila D on the regular! 🥵
Now, here comes all the crazy! I have so many questions..... Why was Kim really beefing with Korri anyway? What was up with Jamar? Was he really that gone over Justina, or just pissed that Velle had one upped him again? Since when do momma's hire ass kickers, cause they grown ass son gets dumped? Lastly, the kicker, how the HELL did SHE end up in bed with Velle and Korri? I mean, I am just outdone with the audacity of this! Quardeay, I need you to COME and see me about these damn characters! I need some answers! 😂👍👍👍
Okay so this is my first book by this author. its always interesting when I read book written by men. a good story with characters i don't typically read. . Solid trash can MMC with no redeemable qulaties It actually disturbs me that he thinks he is some sort of protector of women all the while being a hoe. His friend James was right lol the FMC was really a freak cos playing as a good girl with attitude. These two character meshed well together and had very little drama between Them once they got the seggs out the way. FMC personality felt manish but also she was just waiting to release her inner freak. outside of my personal opinion s of the MMC this book was spicy. the author made Consistent metaphors that would make me laugh.
I’m not going to lie Velle was a little shady 😅. Korri definitely deserved better then what she was settling for. What’s done in the dark always comes to light . I did enjoy this book , it was giving 🌶️🌶️🌶️ on the spice level so definitely wish it was a tad more.
This book surprised me as you can see from the title you can definitely expect spice but that's not what all the book is about and I loved it. Honestly I had a little nostalgia reading this book because it took me back to when I grew up, where the neighbors can be a pain and fun all at the same damn time. This is exactly what the characters experienced Velle & Kori but added with some spicy fun. Velle & Kori were neighbors. Velle lived on the above floor and Kori down below. Velle was a ladies man to say the least and for Kori she had to endure his sexual antics living underneath him and hearing every loud pound, scream, slap, smack, and what have you. It was more than a pain for Kori especially since her own love life was a flop. But as you can imagine Kori could take but so much and eventually had to address Velle about all the racket he and his guests were making. However, as Kori steps to Velle about all the noise, she not only gets a glimpse of all what Velle has to offer but it opens Pandora's box. Velle and Kori are intrigued by one another and Kori even dreams about him. It's from there the pursuit is on between the two. As I mentioned I was really surprised by the book because I was completely expecting to get nothing but spice but this book had a story filled with surprising drama. I enjoyed the girlfriend banter between Rah and Kori. It truly made for a good laugh. Definitely will read more from this author.
My Personal Reflection on Cum and See Me by Quardeay Julien
This book stirred something deep in me. It’s not just a spicy urban drama—it’s a layered story about betrayal, boundaries, and the sacred act of choosing yourself. Korri’s journey felt familiar in ways I didn’t expect. I saw echoes of my own path in her—especially in the moments where she gave too much, stayed too long, and finally began to reclaim her voice.
What moved me most was how she reconnected with her sister. That healing between them wasn’t loud or dramatic—it was quiet, tender, and necessary. It reminded me that legacy work doesn’t just happen in the spotlight. Sometimes it’s in the soft, behind-the-scenes mending of bonds that we find our deepest power.
And then there’s Velle. Complicated, flawed, magnetic. Their connection was messy, yes—but it was also real. I appreciated how Korri allowed herself to feel again, to open to love even after being hurt. That’s not weakness. That’s courage. That’s the kind of emotional integration I believe in: not perfection, but presence. Not control, but conscious choice.
This story reminded me that even in the chaos, we can find clarity. Even in the betrayal, we can find boundaries. And even in the wreckage, we can find a new kind of love—one that reflects the version of ourselves.
Quardeay, gold read. To me this wasn't erotica as much as a good learning experience with some self healing. In my opinion Korri was a woman that had it all together except for true love. She wanted love so bad she overlooked all the flags she saw. Kavelle had his issues as well. I believed he had mommy issues but what I loved about him was he knew what he wanted in a woman he just had to open a bit and change his thoughts. Korri and Kim had a relationship that wasn't really a good one it reminds me of my relationship with my sister. It's a 13 year difference between us and me being the eldest a lot of Korri I see in her. Where I'm like listen live for yourself, love yourself and teach people how to treat you. Then when the real peace comes along you can except all that comes with it. Was Kavelle wrong in dealing with Justine? Yes, but she needed what he had to offer. You surprised me with the end though. I really enjoyed this first read of yours.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
This book was amazing. Although I need a cold shower, this book was so much more. You definitely learned from their experience. I truly love Kavelle and Kori relationship. They brought the best out of each other. Velle had a lot of abandonment issues that he needed to work through. I just hate it took that accident for him to realize he needs to change. I am glad that Kori and Kim decided to work on their sisterhood. Nate is definitely f*Boy and a mama's boy. Just can't get down with Nate's mom, Neicy. She is a terrible person. One thing I can say about Velle is that he definitely keeps real no matter who feelings her hurt. Now I don't agree with what he did to Jamar. Quardeay Julian, you definitely didn't come to play with this book. Can't wait to see what you have coming next. Please keep the books coming. You are one of my favorite authors. 😍
Well damn if both Kavelle and Quardeay weren't both some cocky b's!
Kavelle drew me in with that intro 🔥🔥 then I read: "Her water park was ready to wash my big horse" and "oven mitt-sized handprints on each cheek" TF??
At first, the dialogue seemed a little cheesy. Err, it got better as the book story progressed. As the plot unfolds with increasing intensity, drawing you deeper into this world, I couldn't help but enjoy the erotic tale as promised in the intro 😉.
He may have oversold it a little but better luck next time, right? There were more than enough eye-popping moments to engage and enjoy.
I did, however, like the special touches, like after care at the end of the book
I'm glad Korea and kavelle got their happy ending. This was a good erotic novella. I loved the banter between korri and kavelle. The relationship between them was exactly what they needed. I enjoyed getting to know them. That whole situation with nate was so unexpected. I knew he was cheating, but i did not see that coming.I wish we could have learned a little bit more about the discord between her and her sister, however I'm glad they reconciled in the end.
I get where the author was trying to go with the storyline. But it was a lot going on. I almost didn't finished from the dissertation in the beginning of the book. Then I feel like it didn't explain certain situations...they were just there. Like why the beef between the two childhood friends? Had something happened in the past or was it just jealousy? Why did the mother hate Korri? Was it just because or something happened? And the ending was literally so random. Just my opinion though.
This is my first time reading a book by Quardeay…and I promise you it won’t me by last. Cum and See me was absolutely sexy and downright nasty! Quardeay definitely was able to create two characters that you wanted to win with each other! Kevalle and Korri show that there is so much more to a person than what we see on the surface. This is a real page turner. This book will have you laughing out loud , clutching your pearls, and blushing!!
Nah this was some crazy ish. It took me a while to read at first because I assumed it was the typical enemies to lovers trope so I kept delaying the completion but I was wrong. I definitely could not have predicted any of those major events and I definitely did NOT see that ending coming. Whew chile. Anyway it was a pretty decent read overall.
BEYOND STEAMY!!!…This was definitely one for the books and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment!!!…Had me peeking out my window looking to see if there was Kavelle near me!!!…Nate was a WHOLE batch out here!!!…The fact that his momma was his body guard irritated my soul!!!…I’m glad these sisters got their relationship on the road to healing!!!…
I knew I was in for a treat when I read through the authors note. I didn’t think that I would like Kavelle but I really enjoyed him as a character. Korri definitely deserved better and I’m glad that she got exactly what she deserved. I will say the end of the book felt a bit rushed. I wanted a little more clarification on Korri relationship with her sister. I needed more explanation with what was going on with Nate, like that was a bombshell and it felt like we rushed past it. Allspice the threesome at the end felt like a missed opportunity. Other than that I really enjoyed this book. I want to play come and see me with somebody.
I enjoyed this read. Korri and Vella and their friendly banter between each other. Both had their issues but seemed just right for each other. Nate was something else and wrong for how treated Korri. Rachel was a true friend, and so was Mink to Vella. I like the fact this was erotic yet taught some important lessons on relationships.
Omggggggg hold up I wasn't ready for the ending lol cum and see me was just that baby this book was amazing I'm glad the sisters ate getting alone nate was a dirty dog and his mama too cause stay outta ppl business korri and rah was more like sisters than friends I love it
WARNING: This will leave you aroused and ready to try some new freaky things!!
This is what erotica is all about! The emphasis on healing from your trauma, letting go of what no longer serves you, family issues, and being open to being as freaky as you wanna be. Korri and Velle definitely didn't disappoint. That ending though?? Ooowee
This was a great read! I got sucked in by the story as much as I did the lust. I did just as predicted and hung onto every word. I might have sent a nasty text or two while reading this. At the end, the author asks how we feeling and what do we need… ALL. OF. THE. ABOVE!! Sheesh!!
I overall enjoyed this story. It came up on my TikTok and the author was nice when I inquired about it. This book had everything you would want in a hoodmance-romance, ratchet, and spice. Couple of typos but nothing that took away from the book and story. I’ll definitely be reading more from this author.
Okay so I guess I was looking for a bit more eroticism! I mean don’t get me wrong but this book was a little heavy and freaky at times! I guess from the title I was expecting more. Felt bad for him and Jamar relationship although Velle played a factor in it! Still didn’t stop nothing! The most exciting freaky part was the end that we didn’t get to read smh!
So there is a warning in the beginning of the book. You need to listen! This was the smuttiest, hot and nasty mess I've read so far. Not only is it an enemies to lovers, but the growth between the main characters was refreshing. Neighbors that had preconceived notions about each other, slowly learn that judging a book by its cover may not be the best thing.
Get ready for thundershowers and tsunami-like downpour because this book will awaken all your fantasies and leave you begging for more! Don’t be surprised if you find yourself moaning yesss and looking for someone to make you call their name while indulging in this sizzling page turner!
This book is full of sex, deceit, and drama. A woman with family baggage and a suspect boyfriend falls for her man whore neighbor. They both own businesses but they have family / childhood trauma holding them back. After falling for each other they find healing and become a power couple.
Velle did some shiesty stuff but i really loved his energy. he had some sort of pull about him. i loved the connection him and Korri had with each other. they matched each others freak energy as well. honey match made in heaven!!!
Ok! I enjoyed this book. Everybody was stressing me tf except for Rah lol. Velle was a little too arrogant lol, but I love that for him tho. He was doing his big one. Nate & his overbearing ass mama pissed me off so bad lol. Happy that they got their fairytale ending hehehe
It took a man like Kavelle to bust down the walls around Korri’s heart and then properly buss her down. Korri’s curiosity certainly got her what she was looking for in Kavelle and she hasn’t not complained since. Guess it took a freak to bring out a freak.
Enjoyed the tango between these two. I was rocking with you throughout the entire book until the end. I wouldn’t have chosen her..too much baggage but I get the overall concept. Good job!!! and Nate, smh, he was wrong and dirty.
Wheeeeeewwww , this book was so hot and so good, I refused to put it down. I finished it in 3 days. I definitely imagined me as a character. Keep up the AMAZING work. A new author for me but I will definitely be purchasing more books soon.
This book was recommended to me on TikTok and I was not disappointed. This book was full of good spice with a good plot, and a huge plot twist. It was a quick read and I would recommend it to anyone. This book pulled me out of a book slump.
