16-year-old Sebby Wright holds a secret that threatens his mother - a secret from the past so murky even he can't see it clearly. When he tries to take his own life, psychiatrist Charlotte Blue suspects his problems are rooted in the accidental death of his father, and new fears of losing his mother to breast cancer.

A definite page turner which I really weren’t expecting - I had to get going and simply couldn’t put the book down till the mystery is solved and all is well ! I had an idea (or set my mind on) who it’s gonna be but weren’t so sure how Ms Macgregor going to spin it... Love the lead characters; Psychiatrist Charlotte Blue and Congresswoman Glynn Wright, both very femme, likeable and very strong leading ladies. The court drama was equally riveting. Definitely an enjoyable and intriguing read! A well spent Sunday for me 😊
This is a page turner of a novel. The reader is held captive to the story while waiting to find out what really happened. Loved these two characters both of whom are strong women. Don't start this one if you have to go to work the next day. It's the best KG MacGregor book I've read thus far.
Oh my goodness! What a fantastic, gut wrenching ride! I wanted a drink afterwards. Glynn is courage and selflessness personified, while Charlotte embodies faith and compassion. Together, they are relentless in their intention to find the truth. I was on the edge of my seat, literally yelling at the book at the end of chapter twelve. Whew, what a rollercoaster!!
I liked the idea for the romantic part of the story. Not five stars because the case was Too easy guess. Half of the book I got it solved. The teenager behavior seemed like a mentally challenged 16-year-old... acting as a 12. Not bright at all.
I will admit I was not terribly interested in this book to start and only continued reading because it was set in my home state. However, the plot development finally hooked me and I stayed up late into the night to finish it. While I was dubious of the ethics of the relationship development, it wasn't enough to overshadow my enjoyment of the outcome. Character development was good, Short relationship timelines always bother me but considering the emotional stress, it was reasonable. A good read.
An interesting story for sure... but I always already expecting and getting quite annoyed that it took the characters some 100 pages to figure the dude was murdered and not by who you think.
Pretty Interesting plot and great narration, without a doubt this is K.G. MacGregor's one of the best works. I enjoyed it a lot, I tried my best not to predict and to go with the plot and it paid off!
I loved Secrets so Deep. I couldn't put it down. The strong powerful lead characters and the court room drama are excellent. DO NOT read ANY of the spoilers. Let the book unfold for you. You'll love it.
