This book tells you all you need to know about one of our most valuable resources, water. It explains the water cycle in a very understandable way and introduces a lot of valuable vocabulary. It also talks alot about freshwater wildlife. I did not know that manatees were fresh water critters. I also did not know that an "oxbow" was a formation made by water. I do now. I like the book and the way it talked about all aspects of water from its cycle to floods, droughts, and pollution.
