Plastic surgeon Emine Monique just caught her cheating boyfriend Christian with another woman. Within that moment, her life completely changed. Not because Christian is now her ex, but because of who she thought he was as a person has now been completely erased. She was wrong about him. Completely wrong. With her leaving him, Christian blames her, no one leaves him. Ever! And he freely expressed his bitterness and anger towards her. He wants to punish her, hurt her for thinking she could leave him.

Emine isn't taking the situation serious. She's independent and wants to get on with her life. Her parents, her mother especially, gets involved and hires her a bodyguard. Her mother Nicole cracked me up. You can see where Emine gets her sassy attitude.😆 Emine meets Phillip, her bodyguard, to set certain ground rules for him. Picture it!! Don't follow her around at work. Stand back. Do you really have to check her office, or any room before she can walk in? Yeah. Pushy, isn't she? Who she thought was Phil, isn't Phil. No, we get Damian Kinley. Owner extraordinare. A hot attractive bodyguard. A man who can think for himself. And he is going to protect her from Christian's nefarious intentions at all costs.

The only thing I would have liked was having Damian's pov too. I wanted his thoughts and feelings shared instead of wondering like Emine. haha There's plenty of steam to enjoy.🔥🔥🔥 Some mystery, crime drama, stalking, power tripping, and are we... falling in love?! Are we a couple? This story has it all. How did Christian keep getting away?!🤷🏼‍♀️ I won't spoil what happens. Check it out. Enjoy.🌸

Love, threats and protection

Emine catches her boyfriend, Christian, with another woman, not for the first time, and decides to finally end it. But he won’t accept her leaving him, chases after her and attacks before being stopped by the police.

Her parents hire a bodyguard as they are worried for her protection and she sets her own rules as she’s a plastic surgeon and clients often want privacy. But Damian won’t leave her side and she realises he’ll also be living with her.

After numerous threatening letters and an attack at the hospital they realise Christian will not stop; at the same time both admitting to the attraction they have for each other. Will Emine allow herself to be helped and protected by her bodyguard, and how many chances will she give him to prove he can stop Christian.

If you enjoy romance with fast paced action, crime drama, mystery, steamy romance, humour and a great story line, this story will not disappoint; with some lovely twists and a fantastic ending. Emine and Damian are a great couple with fantastic chemistry.

The police were called but that didn’t stop his threats. She agrees after much debate with her parents that they could hire a bodyguard at least until the hearing. On meeting him she doesn’t realise he’s actually the Damian Kinley CEO of the agency. Emine is a prestigious plastic surgeon, not without money , that being the case she doesn’t want Damian to be seen by her side but he’s annoying and stays close. When it dawns that he’d be moving in to her home ….This is where the fun begins but also the threats against her life can the bodyguard protect his investment as he gambles his heart.

When Emine catches her boyfriend Christian cheating again, she finally has enough to break it off. He then has a complete break down and starts attacking her to the point where there are witnesses and the cops are called. After he's arrested, she files a restraining order and her parents hire a bodyguard to protect her. She starts getting threatening letters and being stalked, all while falling for the bodyguard she never wanted. What happens when Damian misjudged Christian and Maine gets attacked? The story gets even more complicated! Such a good read!

Emine finds her boyfriend/fiancé cheating on her and she breaks things off. Christian threatens her and blusters about how no one leaves him like that. Emine doesn't think he's serious, but she returns home to her parents and they are concerned enough to hire Emine a bodyguard. She meets with "Phil" to set the ground rules for how he is going to "guard" her. Emine is independent and bossy, but not to worry. "Phil" is actually Damian and he knows how to guard her and make sure that she is safe from her ex. This is a steamy, sexy story with a decent amount of suspense as well.

I love all things Melinda James!! Emine broke up with her boyfriend, and he's been threatening her ever since. She gets a bodyguard; Damian, who is always by her side. How close does her bodyguard stick? Love the plot, great setting, and strong intense interesting characters. I can't wait to see what she writes next!!!

My bodyguard

Great story by Melinda James, Damion in protective mode, mischievous in the beginning with a secret , he changed places with Philip her original bodyguard and no one noticed. Loved the book though the end was very abrupt,like The End it needed more at least a few more chapters otherwise I would have gen it a five star rating.

Mistaken Bodyguard

Emine Monique dumps her cheating boyfriend, Christian. He doesn’t like being dump and starts threatening Emine. Her mother decides to hire a bodyguard to protect her. Emine goes to meet with her bodyguard, Phillip to set the ground rules of how he will guard her.

Emine with her fierce attitude goes to meet with her bodyguard, Phillip. She starts telling him her ground rules not knowing she was speaking to Damian Kinsey, owner of the agency. Damian decides he likes what he sees and decides to guard Emine. How will Emine react when she finds out the truth?

Emine and Damian definitely have the romance going on all throughout the book.

Claimed by My Bodyguard has all the requirements of a good book, there is suspense, drama, laughter and romance.
