The Loyal Pin Pt.2

I have to say, this book did in fact bring me to tears. The emotional journey the ladies go through to arrive at what turns out to be a happy ending is truly touching, as well as heart wrenching.
It was definitely a good read and worth the time. This story did indeed touch my heart. Both volumes were excellent. The only criticism I have, is Lady Pin's constant jealousy. It did appear to be stifling, but thank goodness, Love conquered and won !!

I watched Gap The Series, craved for more of the two main characters in the web series. This is the literature I found related to them, a book that will be cast into a drama series. Not a bad read if one ignores the conventional grammar, I am totally curious how the drama series will turn out.

I just love Princess Anilapha's character here. She is quite persuasive, but also determined enough not to play with Lady Pin's heart. Overall, I love this book; it's a light read with giddiness of a high school girl. It definietly brighten up my mood for a couple day.

A pesar de haberme leído ambos volúmenes en inglés (porque no encontré por ningún lado los libros en español), he disfrutado ambos muchísimos. Como dije en la otra reseña, me quería leer los libros porque empecé la serie por Freenbecky y la estaba disfrutando demasiado.

Lo que sale en la serie que se hizo a partir de este libro me tuvo todo el capítulo de la serie (es decir, 1h entera) llorando, y eso es muy difícil en mí, y en el libro es cierto que no he llorado pero lo he vuelto a sufrir. Me quedan 2 capítulos de serie (uno de ellos falta por emitirse) pero al fin puedo conocer la conclusión de la historia con antelación.

En cuanto a los personajes, mantengo que mi favorita es Anin por toda su personalidad. Pin también me encanta, quiero protegerla. Pero del que debo hablar en esta reseña es de Anan (Anantawut). Anan se robó totalmente mi corazón tanto en la serie como en los libros, es literalmente el hermano que todas merecemos tener, la manera que tiene de proteger a Anin es lo más bonito del mundo.

En cuanto al final, sinceramente para mí ha sido perfecto. Desde aquel discurso de Anin tan icónico que se va a quedar en mi mente para siempre, como la actuación de Becky en la serie en esta parte de la historia, y las diferentes emociones que te hace sentir todo.

Es una historia increíble, me parece súper difícil que otro gl tailandés me vaya a gustar más que este, porque no es normal lo que lo he disfrutado. Sinceramente es que ni siquiera he acabado la serie, me he leído los dos volúmenes de libro, pero ya quiero repetir ambas cosas.

In book 2, both main characters have really grown up, and we get to see their personalities much more clearly. When I read book 1, I was totally on team Anil but by the time I got to book 2, I started liking Pin more and actually understanding her better. I know a lot of readers feel the same way I did at first that Pin’s jealousy was over the top and kind of hard to like. But over time, I realized that no one’s perfect; a “perfect” character is actually a shallow one. Pin’s jealousy makes sense once you understand her background and how she was raised by Khun Pad.

Anil, on the other hand, is free-spirited and impulsive she goes after whatever she wants, which fits perfectly since she’s the most pampered princess in the family.

What really stood out to me in book 2, though, was the chapter about Khun Pad’s own love story. I never hated her before, but after this book, I just felt pure sympathy for her.

So, part 2...I knew something would come, it was a foreboding feeling I always have with period pieces. But let's just say that it was played out pretty well and with dramatic effect as I should expect. It feels authentic.

I do have a problem with Khun Pin as she seems less shaped as a character than Anil, due to her nature, she tends to react quite immaturely with jealousy that is or isn't justified. But all in all, I do understand that some people are like that, so it can be explained somewhat. Forgot to add, the journal entries from Khun Pin's POV were what I needed to forgive those fits of childlike nature of hers.

I love Anil for her more complex and down to earth nature. I am fascinated always by other cultures and I do hope someday we all understand that love like this is indeed the most important thing in this life.

The Loyal Pin 2" is just as amazing as the first book. The story continues to develop in such a beautiful way, drawing me in even more. The romance is absolutely breathtaking—it gives me butterflies with every cute scene. And the ending? Pure perfection. I loved it so much! It was such a good read that it became one of my favorite books, and I’ll definitely be reading it again many times.

Não importa o tanto que raiva que eu passei na metade do livro, o fim faz tudo valer a pena. Eu fiquei moendo de raiva em um capítulo e no outro já tava que era só alegria. Amo a ambientação desses livros, e fico feliz que além de ter lido vou conseguir ter a experiência da série com os meus amores

good story..poor translation.

Just like part One, this is a good period drama/romance novel. But, like the first, the English translation is pretty rough in some parts. Still, I can’t wait for the Thai series to come out based on this book. Should be great!

4 stars. This one was good but I prefer the first book just a bit more. Pin was annoying in this one for a good chunk of it but she gets it together in the end. The romance was still great and the plot got dramatic which was fun. I would definitely say these are worth the read.

Queda un ep, pero el libro me ha gustado bastante más que la adaptación. Aquí hay como 4 veces menos drama que no va a ningún lado y sólo sirve para dejar mal parada a Lady Pin.
