"Dr. Brady saw my bra.
And then I set him on fire.
All in all, the whole debacle had been his fault, and after I got over my embarrassment, I was going to make him pay. "

Being a young, semi-talented artist with big dreams is hard enough for June Matthews, but to make matters worse, her boss is a total dick. Dr. Amos Brady, a neurosurgeon, and unapologetic a-hole, seems determined to make his secretary’s life miserable. When Dr. Brady rudely points out that her “stripper” underwear is showing, June decides she’s had enough. Well, okay, she hadn’t meant to set his pants on fire, but she isn't mad about it, either. That is, until their office manager makes everyone go to a wilderness retreat to “foster communication” and force everyone to get along. June doesn’t intend to get along with Dr. Brady… but she does intend to get even.

Amos barely notices the fuming “pocket doll” reincarnation marching around indignantly under his nose. He’s got bigger problems than June Matthews. His research in the field of connectomics has hit an enormous snag, and now his office manager thinks they need a weekend in the Tetons to improve office morale. Nobody has time for that. But then June tries and fails–miserably–to land a prank on Amos at the retreat, and it has Dr. Brady re-thinking his initial assumptions about quirky June Matthews. Has she always been that… sparkly? He isn’t sure what he would do with a sprinkle-covered cupcake like June, but he’s willing to take a taste and find out.

Thank you so much to the Author for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Love M.D. is a spicy romance read about a grumpy neurosurgeon and his sunshiny receptionist. Some of the tropes are enemies to lovers, age gap, and forced proximity. I absolutely loved the banter and to me it seemed that Amos and June balanced each other out a bit. The spice was so good and the chemistry between the MCs was wonderful. 4 stars!

2.5 stars, rounded to 3 for Goodreads. I received an ebook ARC in exchange for an honest review. .

To be totally honest, the thing I liked most about this book wasn't the relationship at its center at all. We're dealing with a grumpy sunshine dynamic between a doctor and his receptionist. I thought they were cute at times and I didn't mind when he was in control when they were having sex because there was a safe word, but there were times where he'd overstep like with pressing charges on this guy and a few other interactions and I wasn't a fan of that at all.

What shined for me was the intrigue in the mystery behind this couple who wanted the lead character to paint them a mural. I won't say too much of what happened between them for spoiler purposes, but I wanted more. I still feel like we didn't get all of the answers I wanted by the end of the book.

This book could be charming at times, slogging at other times, but overall it kept me invested and reading all the way through it which is the most I could ask for in a book I don't think I was meant to love.

Daaaang! Got and spicy! Could not put this down and such a wtf ending that makes you wanna not stop in the series. It’s interesting seeing parts of the author woven into the characters and some very interesting twists to romance. But such a great story to see the pull and shove. Has for sure triggering scenarios and plot points so proceed with caution depending on your choices.

WOW!!! What did I just read? This was even better than ‘Love RX’!!! And I gave that 5 stars already!
What is in these books, crack? I kinda need book 3 now!
I got ‘Love MD’ as an ARC, and I’ve read and finished it after I’ve read and reviewed ‘Love RX’ earlier this week. ‘Love MD’ is the 2nd book in the ‘Love and Other Jobs’ series. *ofcourse this review and the opinions are all my own*

Chocolate syrup is now my favorite syrup/sauce! And I’m definitely craving cupcakes!
Just when I thought I was hot for Dr. Cade (book 1), uh uhh, I’m still hot for Dr. just now I am hot for Dr. Brady!
I am in love with Dr. Brady and June. The banter, they are so funny, they had ridiculously amazing chemistry. And the SPICE! That was really good!
The epilogue I did not see coming, and the cliffhanger is so much of a teaser. But I am not mad about it. I am excited to see what will happen.

So now I’m daring the author to do it again. Make book 3 even better and make me give it 6 stars!

Love, MD was absolutely delectable. This book had me laughing hysterically, crying with emotion and it had one of the BEST book boyfriends I’ve read in quite a while.

Let’s start with the important stuff: Amos. He was the perfect grumpy hero. I loved how you slowly got to know why he was the way he is.. which spoiler alert: he’s perfect. He had the perfect growl, perfect sweetness and totally represents gentleman in the streets and freak in the sheets. He was perfect.. did I mention perfect?

June. June is all of us. She is so different than me but the way she was written completely has you in her POV and you just GET her. I loved her sass and humor.

This story was everything I didn’t expect and I absolutely loved it. This series gets better and better and I can’t stop reading. Phenomenal. Highly recommend!

I received an ARC for my honest review. Love MD is a grumpy/sunshine spicy contemporary romance about a neurosurgeon (Amos) and his receptionist (June).

I really enjoyed this book! There are a few trigger warnings including harassment and dubious consent (with safe words). So, that is something to be aware of.

The writing was great, and the MCs had fun banter. I was laughing out loud when drunk June was trying to prank Amos and it eventually leads to her vomiting on the floor. There’s even a moose, who runs them up a tree! And I love it when there’s NO third act break-up 🙌🏻.

The couple who hires June to paint a mural was very intriguing and provided some suspense.

What kept this from a 5⭐️ for me is I think there only needed to be one central conflict. Either June’s health or the creepy couple. There was a lot of room to dig deeper with the creepy couple storyline. I found them so interesting and kept wanting to know more.

All in all Love MD was a great read. I also enjoyed the first book in the series (Love Rx) and looking forward to the third.

Love MD is a grumpy/sunshine, enemies-to-lovers, doctor/his assistant story. June and Amos have really great banter in this and I enjoyed the writing style. I loved the first half of the book. But the second half had the 'drama/twists/cliffhanger' and those didn't do it for me, unfortunately. There were several personal 'icks' in it for me, but the writing and the dialogue and the spice made up for it.
Overall, a fun read and probably the best indie book I've read all year.

This one felt much different than the first and there was so much going on, it's hard to wrap my head around that ending! But I was hooked and couldn't put this book down. I was pleasantly surprised when the story kind of turned into a thriller! I need to dive into book 3 now.

Omg!!!! This was fantastic! I love June and Amos… Junes personality was everything! She balanced Amos out and kept him on his toes!
June went through so much tragedy in their story and my heart broke for her so many times!
I’m proud of how Amos stood up and manned up for her even when he was trying to deny his feelings!

Spicy 4 stars - Lost of virginity, intro to Dom/Sub and BDSM.
Overall, 3.5 stars

This is the 2nd book in the Love Series. I'm a sucker for medical romance. You could fill the tension between the two main characters. It does start off slow but picks up the pace around Chapter 5. I love the witty banter between Brady and Matthews. I love how we don't have to wait long for them to admit their feelings. It was refreshing.

Archer/Meg portion of the story was an amazing plot twist, but it seemed unfinished, and I hope we get the resolution in the books to come. This is the only reason I didn't give a full 4 stars.

I did notice the author does leave breadcrumbs from books to book. You just need to pay attention to them. So far, they are stand-alone, but book 2 leaves us on a cliffhanger.

Based on the description for the 3rd book, I was going to skip it, but now I most read it and saw on TT that they have a 4th book in the series coming. 😁😁🥳🥳

I received this book for free as an ARC reader.

Onto the reviewing part. I really enjoyed the book, don’t get me wrong. The sunshine/grumpy characters were perfect for each other, the humor was perfect, and the sex scenes were nice. HOWEVER, towards the tail end, I wanted to know more about what Amos found out about the couple that hurt June and what they going to do to them. At points it also felt a bit rushed on how quickly they moved in together and fell in love with each other. Neither of these were deal breakers though. At points, it did feel like it stretched on and moved slowly but, overall I give the book a 3.5.

The book was well written and the story was charming. However I did not personally like it. It was way too explicitly kinky for me. Although the importance of having "safe words" was emphasized, the elements of control and domination were beyond my scope of pleasurable reading.

✨ Love MD (Love and Other Jobs Book 2) by Devon Atwood ✨

Who doesn't love a good banter in the story. This book was so fun to read. Dr. Brady and June had sparks flying since the very beginning. From the start you can feel the daddy vibes with Dr. Amos Brady and how much he likes to be in control. June on the other hand is super carefree and lovable by everyone in the office. Things at work get tense when they can't see eye to eye on things and of course things only escalate. With hopes to fix the office morale the manger decides to take everyone to a retreat to help with team building. Well things do not go as plan, especially when June decides to have some fun retribution for Dr. Bradys a$$hole behavior towards her, however when you involve alcohol for some liquid courage things don't always go as plan.

I love how their hobbies outside of their profesional life were so connected with their personalities as well. This is a super sweet, fun read but I do got to say there was a chapter towards the end that I didn't see coming and I loved how well Dr. Brady was able to recognized the situation. Also!!!! If you follow me on TikTok I even made a video rambling about the ending lol. Tell me why I did not expected the ending at ALL! So needless to say I started a petition for Devon to get us book three ASAP (JK.....)

Love MD is the second book in Devon Atwood’s Love and Other Jobs series and I fell in love with Amos and June! If you ever had hot doctor fantasies, then this is definitely a RomCom series you’ll want to pick up!

Amos Brady is a broody neurosurgeon who has gone through a few secretaries, and June Matthews is infuriating. She puts up with his tirades and rudeness until the day she accidentally sets his pants on fire while trying to light a candle on her birthday cupcake. After their verbal fight over the incident, their office manager orders the whole practice to go on a team building retreat in the Tetons. And June intends on getting even with the hot, broody doctor.

June’s plan to play a prank on Amos while drunk backfires, and Amos decides to get even which leads to a spicy scene involving honey and spanking. They run into trouble on a hike with a moose, and June has an asthma attack. Amos gets her through it. When they decide to act on their feelings for one another, it gets spicier, and safe words are involved. But issues with Amos’ project arise and he has to return early.

They explore their relationship, while a couple playing dangerous games hurts June. Amos realizes that he can’t live without her. I positively loved the interaction between them both, and Devon Atwood has her characters come to life with her usual comical brilliance. This was such a fantastic read, and I’m positively devouring this series. It’s probably one of the best RomCom series with some truly spicy scenes. Is 5 stars enough? I’d go for more!

Love MD by Devon Atwood is book two in the Love and Other Jobs Series. I’m going to start this review off by saying, I’m a huge fan of Devon Atwood’s writing. This book was amazing! I loved everything about it and the writing is fantastic. Not to mention it has some of my favorite tropes of all time: enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine and a dash of office romance! I was hooked from the opening chapters and it kept me interested all the way until the final line. I read this whole book cover to cover in one sitting, I could not put my kindle down. (Not that I wanted too) But my favorite thing about this book is the characters themselves. I absolutely loved June and I felt for her because I’m an accident prone person as well, so I get it. Don’t even get me started with her awkwardness… relatable! But reading her growth throughout the chapters was amazing. Then there’s Amos, oh my gosh…loved him! His protectiveness and reading him lowering his defenses; it was fantastic. The chemistry between the two was off the charts and their banter was phenomenally written. Then there’s the spice, oh my was that some top tier reading. This book has definitely become a favorite, it’s so good! I can’t wait for book three! I can’t recommend Devon Atwood enough! The books are amazing and so well done. I highly recommend it!

Amos & June may be my favorite

Another 5 star read by Devon Atwood. I have quickly become obsessed with this series. It’s so fun. Even with the witty banner that keeps you laughing, the story itself draws you in quickly.

As a medical professional, no where near a doctor, I personally can appreciate that all of the medical procedures are done with accuracy and as they would be done in real life. That is a big pet peeve, so I quite enjoy when I can read something and not get stumped because it’s incorrect.

Overall, this story is phenomenal. June is a hot mess to say the least. Dr. Brady is a professional who is a little meticulous about his lifestyle. He was not prepared for the hurricane that June is going to bring into his life. But the combination of the two characters is the complete definition of opposites attract.

This book definitely has spice. And while it is top-notch, I have found that in reading these books, I honestly would not even miss the spice. However, it is super fun. Dr. Brady is not a vanilla cupcake and June is not experienced. So when they come together, there is a lot of mutual respect, patience, and understanding.

I highly recommend this book. Happy reading y’all. !

I absolutely loved it! I received this book as an arc, in exchange for my honest review. Let me just begin my saying, Devon Atwood out did herself with this one! Talk about a grumpy sunshine story. The characters in this book are perfectly written. I freaking loved June, her awkwardness was so relatable. The banter between June and Dr. Brady was comical. I caught myself laughing out loud more than once. Now , Dr. Brady- wow, hot stuff. Who doesn’t love a hot brooding doc? This book was spicy. It had just the right amount of spice , it didn’t take away from the storyline. And to top it off there was the added element of mystery! The craziness that she threw in with the enchanted mural painting. I was not prepared for that level of crazy, but I love it! It keep me on the edge of my seat the whole time. The only part that even disappointed at all was the ending. Holy cliffhanger, I hope this just means there’s more to come! Five stars from me! This is a must read!

Let me tell you this.. Do not read this book on the bus to work.. you'll be trying not to laugh or blushing, and people will look at you for it. Besides that, run and get this book now! If only I could read this book for the first time again.

I absolutely adore Amos and June's story. June Matthews is a young artist who works in a medical office to make ends meet. Dr. Amos Brady is a neurosurgeon at that office and unapologetically him.. an a-hole to June. June is her sassy, unique self when, unfortunately, Dr. Brady sees her bra and sets him on fire. This tips over the scales, and now everyone is on a wilderness retreat for teamwork building. Good luck.

Amos is swoon worthy, dom vibes, cinnamon roll of a man, but boy, he could catch someone on fire with that mouth. June surprises me at every turn with her banter, and I love it. I love the continued world building and character development. That ending caught me by complete surprise, and now I can't wait for book 3.

OMG Where to even start!!! 5/5 Stars!

I absolutely adored Love Rx, so I was so excited to get my hands on this book. Well, now I cannot decide who my poor heart would choose if there were a competition between Dr. Brady and Dr. Cade, but I absolutely loved Amos Brady. I am a sucker for the Grumpy/Sunshine trope and this book had all the things I loved:
-protective hero
-hilarious heroine who knows just how to push the hero’s buttons
-fantastic writing
-elements of suspense that kept me reading all night long
-and, of course what we all want to know, the steamiest scenes!! Amos made me blush multiple times haha and I loved every minute of it!!
This was such an entertaining read. I laughed, I swooned, and I neglected all my responsibilities because I was so engrossed in this book. 5/5 Stars and I already started my re-read <3

Also, I cannot wait for Azura’s book!

Another great release from Devon Atwood.
LoveMD follows a grumpy surgeon and his clumsy sunshine secretary who doesn't back down. Dr. Brady is the boss that no one wants to work for, but he sure is lovely to look at. Looking closely, you can see and understand why his professional demeanor matches his mannerisms behind closed doors. The things he says and does are among my favorites, so excellent job with that one.

I am loving the Love and Other Job series so far. The amount of time and effort put into research for these books is really evident. Devon manages to provide the necessary medical jargon, but also writes in a manner that everyone can understand. It is not easy, so I commend her for that. I also want to point out that even though this isn't a how to guide, the accurate nature of some of Dr. Brady's bedroom acts was a refreshing thing to see.
I look forward to seeing where this series goes.

🌶️🌶️ Spice Rating

I finished this in two days. Afte reading Love Rx I couldn’t wait to dive into the next book in this standalone series. Love MD is a grumpy sunshine/light bully romance between a doctor and his office assistant.

I loved the banter and their forced interactions at camp. The spice was hot and the edging had me on edge! Really fun read! The twists and turns were definitely a surprise. I loved the thriller vibes though I will say it felt like the first and second halves of the books were two different stories.

The writing itself was great. The spice had me needing a hot shower and I thought that overall it was a really enjoyable fast-paced read that I would recommend to friends.

Love MD is book 2 in a interconnected stand-alone series that I didn't think I could love more than I love Love RX, but Devon absolutely out did herself. Who doesn't want a grumpy, protective alpha male? Also, there were times I related to the mess that is June Matthew a little too much. I literally couldn't put this book down and stayed up until 2am finishing and the whiplash of emotions had me stunned and overwhelmed by time I was done. I feel like the ending wasn't full wrapped up with June's situation (I don't want to spoil anything), but I have a feeling it might spill into Love ESQ, at least I'm hoping it does. Also, that epilogue wrapped up their chemistry very well. I CAN'T WAIT for book three!

Y’all I read this book in a day. That’s how hooked I was. Devon Atwood truly knocked it out of the park with Love MD and I could not get enough- by the end of the book, I still wasn’t ready to say goodbye to June and Amos.
I am a huge fan of the grumpy/sunshine trope, so I knew just based off that I was going to love this book.
The relationship between June and Amos was so very well written- their flirtatious banter and back and forth had me squealing internally while reading on the couch all day.
And that epilogue? I’m going to need the next book ASAP!
I thought I loved Love RX, but Love MD just won my heart.
Thank you so much to the author for an ARC of Love MD in exchange for my honest review. ❤️❤️

Let me start this off by saying I went in with expectations after reading the first book in the series, and woah boy were those expectations blow out of the water!!

I love a good grumpy/sunshine book, throw in a doctor and you have me sold. But this book for some reason was just so much better. It had the angst, it had the want, it had a plot that revolved around more then just spice, and holy guacamole was there spice in there 🔥🔥🔥, but it was all woven so beautifully together.

June and Amos were an unlikely couple that I never would have expected to turn out the way it did. But my gosh there story was one of my favorites this year, and I read a lot so that’s saying something.

If you want all of the things in a book I would highly recommend reading this book.

Wow ... Just wow!
I thought Love RX was amazing but this one takes the cake.
Broody Dr. Amos Brady does not get along with his assistant June Matthews. They have been at each others throats at the workplace causing HR to step in.
How you ask? A teambuilding work retreat in the wilderness.
Will their turbulant relationship ever change into something else? Read to find out!

Love MD is an amazing book with lovable characters and a few of my favorite tropes. Grumpy x sunshine, workplace romance, 'enemies' to lovers, amazing banter, he heals her and don't get me started on the spice!
Amos Brady is a protective, possessive, dominant man that knows what he wants. But is it okay to want her?

But holy moly 😱 the ending?! I need to know what happens next. Like right now! Please and thank you!

I loved this book. The main characters were fun and personable. the read was quick and easy (which I really appreciate in-between reading longer epic fantasies). The spice was wonderful and at the end there was a snippet that will lead us into the next book - Love Esq, which I'm so excited about!

I had rec'd this book as a digital ARC but also purchased the book from Devon's etsy so I have a signed copy to go with my copy of Love RX. It also came with a beautiful page overlay and it arrived in such good condition.

*small spoilers*
Amos and June were such a fun grumpy/sunshine couple. Their enemies to lovers progression made the book hard to put down and June trying to pull pranks on Amos while she was completely smashed is something I could see myself getting in trouble with.

✔️Doctor MMC
✔️Workplace romance
✔️Company retreat
✔️Grumpy/Sunshine
✔️Suspense
✔️Age gap
✔️Rom-com
✔️Enemies to lovers

Holy smokes! I knew after reading the first in the series (Love RX) that I would enjoy Amos’ story and boy, did I! I’m a sucker for workplace romances with enemies to lovers and dark, grumpy MMCs and this really hit the mark.

Lately, a lot of the rom-coms I’ve read have cringy writing that isn’t at all humorous, but Atwood’s style is creative and smart and had me laughing out loud quite a few times.

I wasn’t expecting the amount of spice and kinkiness in this book. It’s very hot and a cold shower may be needed after a few of the scenes.

Overall, I love this series so far and can’t wait to read the next one! I would recommend reading these in order as it helps to understand a few things. Also, this one ends on a cliffhanger, so be prepared for that.

I enjoyed this book. I received as an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I have read everything else by the author and this lived up to my expectations. I enjoyed seeing the relationship change between the two main characters. Watching it build as Dr. Brady took care of her even though her personality was the opposite of his.

June was a quirky character that I enjoyed. Independent but unsure of what she wanted in life. Watching her take a big commission and the outcome of that could have been it’s own story line.

The only thing I didn’t love was the cliffhanger ending. I believe the final book comes out in January, but I thought this was a stand alone novel and it left me hanging for some answers that will most likely be answered in Love ESQ.
