Although this book ended with a cliffhanger (since it's a serial, or series), it was absolutely spellbinding, dark, and sizzling. Alec is walking around in someone else's body and he goes back to Frank (his lifetime psychiatrist before he was put to death) who deep down inside loves Alec but doesn't understand why he does since Alec has no concept of love or what it feels like to love or care. He finds Frank after a couple of years and they spend a night together, which was hot, hot, hot! :)
Alec never hurts good people (so far), although he is angry that Frank's friend, Ron, is trying to hook Frank up with someone else (James), and well,, he wants to make them pay. He asked Frank what jealousy was and yet he must feel it somewhat, or maybe there's a fine line between jealousy and possessiveness. I'm not sure, but Alec does have a certain respect for Frank or else he wouldn't have went back to him. Actions do speak pretty loud where Alec is concerned, even if he can't speak the words of love. I do hope that Ron or James don't die because they're innocent of being truly hateful, unlike some of the other bigots in the book. This is a compelling series that really pulls me in. :) It's impressive and unique.
