I've been a fan of the Laurel Springs Family since we fell in love with their parents in MTF. I haven't been in the world of Laurel Springs as long as some but when I started reading Madam Briscoe's novels in 2022 I became a quick fan.
Here are my thoughts on this box set of 4
Book 1- Ransom
This is book one in the Laurel Spring Emergency Response series and it started with a bang. Laramie has done it again and now it’s one of our favorite Captain Havoc’s oldest children. Ransom isn’t some ordinary dude he’s got a fabulous K9, muscles for days, and a heart of pure gold. This story takes place and the love between him and Stella has a major run for its money but it is so worth it.

*Law officer romance 🥰😍💥
*Steamy scenes that could melt snow ⛄️
Book 2- Suppression
“If you’re there,” – she lifts our clasped fingers – “then I’m always ready for what’s waiting on me.”- Kelsey
This book was so sad but it made me swoon like a loon 😂😍. Laramie Briscoe has a way of making everyday life simply beautiful. She doesn’t make unnecessary plots and shenanigans but real love. Real love is slow and complicated and kind of messy and these characters give us that in spades. It’s lovely to see how they transition as friends and lovers.
We all want someone to be as passionate about us as Kelsey. Unfortunately, sometimes we meet a guy like Nick who just doesn’t know his worth yet and time makes him into the man he needs to be. It is not for the weak it takes time and effort to make things like this work. Kelsey was the woman for the job and their love was stronger for it 😍😍.
Book 3 - Enigma
This was the first book I can say I've read by Laramie Briscoe that didn't make me cry. I felt like Tucker made Karsyn more stressed than anything else. I know he was named Enigma and real love shouldn't be easy. I just wished that Karsyn would have gotten out and dated someone else. Not a real boo but just so Tucker could see that she was worth fighting harder for. I am happy that reality gave him the swift kick in the behind that he really needed to finally go fight for his woman. This wasn't my absolute favorite in this series but I understand why Enigma needed his story told.
Book 4 - Cutter
Baby, I could not wait until Cutter got his story. He kept popping up in other stories and I knew his story would be the one to shake the room. Hurricanes and a buff bad boy turned good boy. This is literally what I look for in a romance book. A couple that has nothing to lose but each other's love. Even though this was my favorite I found it so hard to give a real review on it because I am still crying but when I get it together I'll review this book again. Just give it a read I know you will love it.
Overall, this was a very solid box set and I think everyone should give this a read. It has a little of everything for any type of romance reader. It gives small-town romance, friends to lovers, old friends, and even a second chance. The only question I have is where is box set 2? Happy reading everyone.

Ransom-When did things begin to change? For her, it was at a cookout at her grandparents and for him, it's always been this way. He's a K-9 cop, and she is a medical assistant. They grew up together and their dads work together. What will everyone say? It may take a drastic event to bring their love into the open and then we'll see what everyone else thinks. This story made me laugh and cry like any good book should. On to the next story-
Suppression-How do you break the cycle of being unloved and abused? That's what our hero has to figure out for both him and a young boy he rescues. He was rescued as a teen by a cop and his wife. He was given a home and a sister but letting go of the monsters has been hard. Our heroine has loved him for a long time, but he has kept pushing her away. She just can't give up on him and keeps hoping that one day it will pay off. With the help of a young boy, perhaps all three of their lives will change for the better. Warning: You might need a box of Kleenex while reading this story.
Enigma-They split up for a year and a half before trying to work things out and get back together. However, in order for it to work this time they will both need to share their deepest secrets. It's hard to share some past events especially when they were very traumatic such is the case for Karsyn. She has learned from the break-up how to be stronger and how assert herself more. Tucker has learned that his life is more fulfilling with Karsyn in it now if he can just learn how to say those three little words out loud. Some traumatic events are not meant to stay hidden, and some are often repeated. What once made someone weak could not make them stronger. Read to see what happens when events out of their control make the past rear its ugly head.
Cutter-This book is full of secrets and hardships and coming through the other side. If it doesn't touch your feelings at all then you must be made of stone. It involves a hurricane, destruction, a wrongful death, misunderstandings, troubled relationships and a lot of love. The love of good friends and close families. It is about rebuilding lives after devastating circumstances and finding love in the face of heartache. I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the LSERT series.
Also included in this set are extras for each couple.

Ransom - Ransom and Stella were content being just friends until they actually ‘noticed’ each other one day. When that spark started becoming a flame, it exploded. This is a great series start and I am looking forward to reading the whole series. This is the first Laramie Briscoe book I have read but it’s definitely not the last.
Suppression - Police officer Ryan Kepler found Nick after he had stolen food and clothing because he had neither of each. Troubled by the life the teenager had already endured, he and his wife Whitney decided he was sent to them to the be son they always wanted.
Nick always considered himself incapable of love, even though his adopted family made sure they told him often how much they loved him. Kelsey Hamilton, his sister’s best friend has been in love with him for years and wasn’t sure she would ever be able to get through to him. When the unthinkable happens, he realizes how much he loves her and he may have lost his chance to let her know. Grab a box of tissues for this one. Loved the book!.
Enigma - Tucker and Karsyn have been seeing each other for about a year when he suddenly decides ‘it’s not working for us.’ He doesn’t believe he is good enough for her and so he decided she deserves better leaving them both with broken hearts. Both Tucker and Karsyn have secrets that need to be shared if they are going to get their second chance. What happened to her is about to happen again but maybe this time with Tucker’s help, she can prevent it from happening to someone else.
Cutter - EMT’s Rowan and Cutter have both loved and lost. Both are slow to trust and neither expected to find love when Cutter’s LSERT team of first responders went to Paradise Lost to help with the aftermath of Hurricane Tatum. Recommended read.

This box set carries on with the original members of the Moonshine Task Force and includes members of their families, plus newcomers, to create the Laurel Springs Emergency Response Team as the stories unfold. The children of Renegade, Menace and Havoc have grown up to become police officers, nurses and EMTs to continue to help their community. We have families intermingling through marriage, and newcomers being welcomed into the fold. Characters are well developed, continuing to be involved in the books, building up even more to the fabric of these lives that flow together to build this close knit group of first responders to give support and protect the community and area they love.
I did find I almost needed to try to create family trees to keep track of which character was the child of one of the original MTF members, who was related to who as a sibling, and who was new from the outside, but that just added to the richness and enjoyment to make the connections as the stories unfolded. There is a community created which draws the reader in and increases the investment in these lives, individual stories, and impacts on the residents protected by these dedicated public servants. An engaging read with memorable characters.

Having read a few of the Laurel Springs books in the past, I was eager to read this boxed set to learn more about the LSERT and it’s members. Each book centres around a different team member, his history, his relationship with the team and the one person that changes everything in his life and brings new meaning to the word love. The team members are more than just colleagues. They are friends, family (whether by blood or not), and even mentors to each other. When you add in the women who are their other halves, you have one big, gregarious family that looks out for each other and offers unconditional support when needed. I found each book to be riveting, with a wonderful romance, some suspense, danger and angst. All the extras added to this boxed set that gave an extra peek into the lives of the couples were enjoyable too.

Having read Ransom previously I can’t honestly say why I didn’t read the rest of the series. I can only blame my chaotically ordered TBR it’s and my inability to stick to a plan.
Well wow what have I been missing out on. What a fabulous series. I adore each of the couples and love even more that these characters keep coming back in later books. Their relationship and family lives continually developing and expanding on the pages.
I adore how real the writing is, how the relationships aren’t easy but it’s not forced angst but real life relationship problems.
All the books are amazing and I couldn’t pick a favourite if I’m honest, the characters in each grab at your heart and don’t let go.
A wonderful collection of the first 4 books leaving you with a hunger for more.

I really enjoyed the previous MTF series and loved all these characters. This series was just as great. The characters are well-written, the stories are very compelling and kept me reading well into the wee hours on more than one occasion! Not gonna lie, they hit me in the feels pretty hard, so be prepared for some tears as well as the warm happy feelings 🥺
I very, very much recommend this series!!! Seriously. I do recommend you start with the MTF series. Get to know their parents first, fall in love with the world then move on to this series 🥰

This is the first four stories in the "Laurel Springs Emergency Response Team" series of stories about cops and EMTs. The collection includes "Ransom", "Suppression", "Enigma" and "Cutter". The series is set in a small town and each story features a different couple finding love, challenges, adventure and action. The stories are emotional roller coaster reads with suspense, danger, passion, a second chance, marriage of convenience, friends to more, forced proximity, love, romance and good twists. The characters are strong and likable with amazing chemistry. I enjoyed each story and how they each developed.

A wonderful engaging Boxset of stories that keep you turning the pages. Each story contains real life heroes willing to face danger to keep all safe. The writing brings you into their lives with bravery, tension, chemistry, emotion, second chances, trauma, secrets, sacrifice, kidnapping, natural disaster, undeniable passion, friendship, doubts, decisions, protectiveness, complications and love. Loved the extra bonus content.

Four great stories in one collection that will keep you reading for days. I had loved reading Ransom's story before and could not pass up this opportunity to binge read about more of the LSERT members. All of the characters are interconnected through friendships and family. The romance covers friends to lovers and second chances entwined with suspense, drama and heart wrenching moments. Each book has a great HEA and their lives filled with love, humor and camaraderie continue on as secondary characters in following books. Awesome series.

The storyline is so well written, easy to follow and with the right doses of suspense, drama and steam. Characters are strong, relatable and great individually and amazing together.

This boxset contains the first 4 books in the LSERT series plus additional scenes for the couples later on after the epilogue. I had reviewed two books with 3 stars & the other two with 4 stars. The additional scenes were nice to see how they juggled life & romance plus we saw some life changes we didn't see in their books, but had known about in other cameos. My only frustration was that it was hard to know when the scenes were set,this was especially unclear for Stella's pregnancies.

I read Ransom’s story in an anthology awhile back and wanted to get the rest of the series. I really enjoyed each story in the box set. I can’t say who I was looking forward to most because each of the characters have a way hooking you and you want to know everything about them. I really enjoy Laramie Briscoe’s writing and I highly recommend her books! This is a great way to get started in the LSERT series and I can only hope that the rest of the series will come out in a box set too!

This box set has four of my favorite Laurel Springs stories in it. These stories are empowering with characters that will not only touch your heart but will have you cheering them on to finding happiness. I enjoyed all four stories and connected with all of the characters. Make sure you have a lot of time because once you start reading these stories you can't put them down until the lastpage!.

These stories has a great entertaining world building engaging story lines. The characters are great, and they have great chemistry. These stories are very entertaining romance read. The author produces great stories with realistic events and issues. This series carries over from the Moonshine Task Force and continues with the second generation joining the services.Having read all books in the previous series, it is good that previous names and characters crop up.

The Laurel Springs Emergency Response Team box set #1
As I got into the first story I realized I had Already read this book. It is so well written I could not put it down. Needless to say, just finished the complete box set. This one though had extra excerpts at the end. Ladies If you enjoy small town romances with sexy uniform men. Sexy play time, this book is for you. I gave it 5 stars.

I loved revisiting the characters from this fantastic series. The series was well written and kept my attention thanks to the endearing characters along with the engaging story line. Being able to read about four alpha males in one wonderful and steamy box set is an added bonus.

This is a great collection of four stories involving EMT's and cops who meet the women they fall for. The stories are well written with a ton of emotion and love. You'll have hours of reading pleasure with this collection from the LSERT. Loved and recommend reading.

The Laurel Springs by Laramie Briscoe is the First book in the Emergency Response Team Box Set. This is a great box set that has the first 4 book in the series. This box set is totaling 1016 pages. This is a great set if you are a fan of this author but it is also great if you are looking to discover a new author. Enjoyed!

This was a great book set. A good choice by the author to include in a box set. I thought all the story was well written, the characters and their personalities fit into each story. They hold your attention from the start. I highly recommend reading this collection, very worthwhile.

Each book has a well written, interesting couple, the stories are all well paced, full of action, drama, twists, turns, and tons of sizzle, steam, and so much more. Great boxed set and well worth it.

The Laurel Springs Emergency Response Team Box Set is an amazing collection by Laramie Briscoe. I cannot believe how awesome each book was. They each focus on a different member of the LSERT members. I started reading and I was hooked until the very last page. The collection includes:

This was a great series so far. I loved all the guys and the women they fell for. There's some scary moments, haunting moments and courageous moments. You won't be disappointed in this box set. I really loved the extras added at the end. HEA.
