As a highly-sensitive child, the piano was a perfect instrument for Mieke to express her feelings and inner knowledge of harmony and sound. “A Journey to Love: A Holy Quest in Southern France” written by Mieke Vulink is a very beautiful book. The book accounts for her quest to connect herself with the divine within. The book is filled with mystical and mythological elements. It contains the whole journey of the author with her daughter Eva, following the path of transformation through the Holy Grail.
The book is engaging and quite captivating. It takes you to a different world, I must say the imaginative power of the author is compelling. It is not based only on spiritual talks but it also offers valuable insights to the readers. “A Journey to Love” offers a healing experience to the readers and inspires them to embark on their journey of self-discovery.
The Author's belief in the healing power of the sacred places contradicted my thoughts and opinion. This book has a seamless pace and flow, which makes it more interesting and comfortable to read. Mieke Vulink very beautifully captured the beauty of the south of France, making it informative and beautiful at the same time.

A very informative and spiritual book
I found the cover photo of this book so beautiful and calming, and I was instantly attracted to it. The title of the book is also perfect because the contents inside it are so eye-opening.
The book is about a mother and daughter who went on a spiritual journey to France and discovered many things about their lives.
The author has described the places so beautifully and not just that she has provided stunning pictures too. With these two things, I could visualize myself standing with the author in that particular place and time. The past connections have also been described nicely with the holy grail, Yeshua, Essenes, Mary Magdalene, Cathars and templars and I learned so many new things from this book about which I didn't know before.
I enjoyed their journey where they started opening their chakras one by one after reaching every new place and meditating there. It must have been so peaceful to Meditate and gain higher knowledge in such blessed places. They went to places like Montpellier, Alet-Les-Bains, Montsegur, Rennes-Le-Chateau, Pech Cardou, and many more. I loved how they discovered the energies of these sacred places.
I will recommend this book to people who love reading spiritual books. It has been a treat for me to read someone's journey and be so motivated that I want to go on my journey now.

You will also get to know her ancient connections with Yeshua, Mary Magdalene, the Holy Family, the Essenes, Cathars, and Templars as she narrates her life journey. After the crucifixion, a part of her holy family's life is in Southern France, which covers sacred places they visited, like Montpellier, Alet-les-Bains, Montségur, Puivert, Rennes-le-Château, Serres with the Pech Cardou, and Bugarach.
As I used to say in the other books that I review as well, I am always in for reading personal life stories, life experiences, memories, biographies, etc. The reason is that it is always told from the heart, without any fictional aspects such as this one.

A beautiful read that sets out to do just what it means to.
I liked the clean and concise way Mieke Vulink has put this together. It made for an easy and understandable read.
You could feel her voice and her love of the topic. I think that is a huge help when you can feel parts of the Author in their writing.
