The Christmas Devotional: Hope & Humor For The Holidays

Rate this book
It’s the perfect Christmas devotional for the Christmas fanatic. You know, the one. The person who―if they could―would celebrate Christmas all year round. The one who unapologetically starts playing Christmas music in October and knows the words to every Christmas carol. It’s written for the person who starts decorating for Christmas way before Thanksgiving. This devotional is for the person who lives and breathes the holiday season and carries the Christmas spirit all year long. More specifically, this devotional features 40 of the most beloved Christmas traditions and the history behind each one. And, that’s not all. With each tradition, award-winning authors and Christmas enthusiasts Michelle Medlock Adams and Andy Clapp unearth a biblical truth that connects the reader with the true meaning of the Season.

I’ve spent several Christmas seasons reading through this devotional and I’ve loved every moment! The short devotions pack a punch. I love the personal stories at the beginning of each devotion that tie into a deeper truth about Christmas and our relationship with God.

THE CHRISTMAS DEVOTIONAL (©2023 by End Game Press), written by Michelle Medlock Adams and Andy Clapp, will become your next holiday favorite! Filled with forty days of memories and traditions as well as references to songs and scriptures, this book highlights the reason for the season. Each entry includes “Festive Fun Facts,” a “Hearth to Heaven” prayer, and a relevant scripture passage. The authors draw their ideas from meaningful personal reflections as well as classic Christmas movies such as A Charlie Brown Christmas and It’s a Wonderful Life. In addition to Christmas crafts and cookies and caroling, this book most importantly offers a reminder of why God sent His son into the world.
