super detailed for being so compact. i like that it's called WAYS OF rather than HOW TO and has a lot of notes on how to observe better than draw better because it's really observation and practice to improve. hands are like the only thing i can draw so some of the things pointed out in this book made me feel so validated ("yes!! folds in fingers at the joints are totally a thing!!")

This is a nice, concise, little guide to drawing hands. It doesn't over-emphasize anatomy, but rather suggests some ways that concentrate on structure in a general way. There are lots of examples from various perspectives, and a section on drawing materials.
