Emilia Finn is an Amazon Top 20 bestselling, Australia-based author with more than 55 books written and published to date.
She's a mom, a coffee addict, a collector of quirky coffee mugs, and before she had kids, she was a real-life full-contact fighter.
Her experience on the fight circuits helped her pen her first ever book—Finding Home—featuring a world champion MMA fighter Bobby Kincaid, and his leading lady and equal in every way, Kit Reilly. What was only supposed to be a once off experience instead turned into a career for Emilia, a thriving empire, and a daily grind she never wants to be rescued from.

Another 5 star book in this amazing series! The Copeland City crew just keeps getting better and better! And I love every second of it! Archer and Minka’s connection continues to grow and there is nothing like their love 🖤 can’t wait for the next one!🖤
Another enjoyable read as the gang try and solve another murder. We get to know their beloved mayor a bit more in this one. It's a quick read and while Finn blurbs this as a standalone the read became a bit repetitive with her rehashing the backstory which lagged the movement of the case. My opinion for a better reading experience is to read the series in order.
If you are reading this series in order you will need to leave the Sinful Series at book 10 and read book #1 of The Tallest Tower as these two series are interconnected.
Another fantastic foray into Copeland with Minka and Archer. This one is more case oriented, and while we see cameos from many of the other characters in the series, the main focus is on solving the puzzle of the OD’d pop star.
One of the things I love most about Ms Finn’s stories are how she places such an importance on family, whether by blood or by choice. In Sinful Memory, Minka is forced to take a closer look at the relationships she has with the mayor, her brothers-in-law, and even her coworkers. Archer acknowledges that his wife feels things deeply, even though she doesn’t always show it. Minka sees the parallels between her relationships and the victim’s, which makes for some internal angst and self-reflection. Fletch also sees some parallels between his situation with his ex-wife and those of the suspects/victim.
While you don’t need to have read the other books in this series to enjoy this one, you will appreciate it so much more if you’ve started at the beginning and worked your way through the other nine stories in the Mayet Justice series.
I know one day the Mayet series is going to end! I’m going to miss the precious people that I have fallen in love with. Minka who is the incredible ME who in this story is on a mission to find out what happened to this popular pop star. She is devoted to find the facts for the mayor, her husband who is a detective and most of all for the victim. Archer who is assigned this case with his best friend Fletcher come up with the best interviews of possible killers. This book keeps you captivated because you have so many questions. It also has so much humor especially when you throw in Archers youngest brother who has not had typical parenting is hilarious. I can’t wait to read the next one. Emilia Finn is brilliant at making us feel these flawed but lovable characters are real.
Wow, I can’t even begin to understand how this series seems to blossom in such an unexpected and delicious way with each book! It’s pure magic every time I crack open one of Emilia’s books. The feelings, friends and family phobic Minka keeps spreading her wings amongst all the love and care. Watching her boss fit as the perp in so many ways in her latest case sends her into a tail spin, and watching Archer swing her out of it was poetic. Can’t get enough of this series and this huge checkered family!
Ah Emilia if there isn’t a better way to describe Emilia Finn’s stories than If you know you know, it’s family first always; blood and adopted. Memory is no different, dealing with Cato and Daddy Lawrence bring those family values to the center and reveal a little more of Archer and Minka’s love story! Again Emilia writes another chapter that is too good to put down and needs to be devoured in one sitting!
Ten books in, and these guys still take my breath away. The way Minka & Archer understand each other’s nuances and love each other so well because of it is everything. Archer mentions in this book, and I agree- they are married now, but not even a little bit boring. I love how invested we are able to become in the side characters stories. This book felt even more intense than usual, because the victim broke my heart. As always, amazing book that defies all expectations!
Finn yet again does it again. You would think I would stop being surprised, but here we are. Every time each book is amazing, and this is no different. I did not know how I would feel about following the same characters throughout a whole series, but some how finn makes you fall so in love and paints a picture with the other side characters that you have no choice but to follow. And follow we did. This book is just as amazing as the last.
She did it again! Reading is so fun!! Emilia, ya pulled me into Copeland again like a warm cup of coffee on a fall morning in the mountains. Ah! Fresh air and warm coffee!! The story was such a fun read with the mystery and the dynamics of the characters that I think of as family. I’m excited to continue reading this series and also looking forward to the new series. Love to see everything unfold and can’t wait to get back to Copeland soon. Thanks again to an awesome author. 👏🏻👏🏻
Cato living with Minka and Arch is going to be a wild ride. He is going to annoy her to no end. The Mayor is a meddlesome man still. I loved the cameo by Corey and Tabby. This book was a lot more about the characters than a case.
The wait for Tim and Aubree may kill me, especially when he drags her up the stairs! Also, Fletch needs to just kiss Fifi already!
Like all of Emilia Finn’s other books/series she just sucks you in and next thing you know it’s 4am and your almost done with it !! Her writing is amazing and she has a way she writes about her characters that no matter good, bad or grey you end up loving them all !!
The latest book in this series made me mad, cry, and crack up laughing. Aubree, Tim, and the new guy at the bar had me rolling. Poor Tim and his mixed up feelings. Cato at the arena was hilarious, and Felix's response to Archer about raising him was just so funny. Minka and Arch were great as always.
These people are my couple goals! The addition of Cato is an interesting addition for sure. I always enjoy the new books and can’t wait to finish them but am sad when I have finished. Never found out what happened when Aubree and Tim went upstairs above the bar…don’t forget to tell us next book please!!!!
It all comes down to family and what you would do to keep yours safe, whether you want to admit it or not. Minka has built a family although she tries to deny it. As dysfunctional as they all are, they will stop at nothing to protect each other. I love that about this book.
I love how Emilia thinks! You never know what you are going to get with her. This series is no different and this case was just as phenomenal as the last ones were. I love all the characters. I am so invested in seeing them get together and I love Minka and Archers love for one another and their friends and families. Definitely a series you don’t want to miss!
The Mayet Justice series continues to keep me entertained with laughter from the banter between Minka and her brother-in-law, the intrigue of when Tim is FINALLY gonna get with Aubree, and the suspense of the continues murders that happen in Copeland and how Archer and Fletch will solve them. Especially when one of Minka’s loved ones appears guilty.
Man, Archer and Minnnnnka are the sweetest! I laugh out loud… and not just the “lol” that gets typed while not even smiling. Archer is totally obsessed and Minka absolutely is as well if you know her well enough! Loving the progression of their relationship and all that goes with it.
The mayor needs help and Minka to the rescue. She is awkward and has no idea how to handle emotions. I enjoy her and how she navigates through emotional turmoil. So Ms. Pop princess has died and Archer and Minka are on the case. Fletcher and Aubree are side characters that brighten up the story. I enjoy them.
I seriously love Emilia’s writing, the lay out, the placement of characters and the love that ebbs and flows through the pages. This story was incredible start to finish! Always good to be back in Copeland city with the malones and company. Snippets of roller town is always a massive bonus too!
I absolutely love Minka and Archer. One of the first books I read was The body farm from Patricia Cornwell..many years later I found this series which marries my love for forensic/crime and romance . Amazing job Emilia!!
This story, these characters, I Love Them!!! If you haven’t been to Copeland yet you should go right now. Minka and Archer are not only a great couple but amazing characters and you can’t help but want to be in their circle. This story has all the feels! Emilia Finn you are a treasure and I thank you for sharing your gift💗
It was great, keeps you guessing all the way through. But has you laughing and crying, thinking and pondering, but I always leave laughing, happy and wondering where we go next.
Overall at number 10 was great!! Loved the story, the drama, the suspense, and I can’t wait for more. I am a little eager to read everyone’s book but at the same time I don’t want it to end.
Every single book in this series just gets better and better. When a case hits close to home, it puts even more incentive in archer and Minka to properly handle the situation with delicacy and explore the avenues I wouldn’t have even thought to look at.
*Sigh* I just love Minka and Archer so much!!! Emilia Finn never lets me down and I always love stepping back into Copeland City. I legit squealed when Tim threw Aubree over his shoulder…i needed their book like yesterday lol. I legit never want this series to end!
Once again, the 10th edition to the Mayet Series is just as good as the first. These characters are so good together. All I can continue to say over and over is to start at the first book, read, and never look back!
Another great story! I loved this one as much as the other Mayet Justice books that have come before it. I love the way these books are written and will now wait eagerly for the next one!
This story took many turns along the way as we all tried to solve the murder together. I will love that people keep forcing Minka to let them care about her. While it didn’t progress the other side storylines, it is great getting more Archer and Minka.
This series is so good! If you've continued to read about Minks and Archer, then you've been getting more of a glimpse of the side characters. This one involves the mayor, which has you questioning and understanding why he treats Minka a certain way.
