💞 The V Card
The V Card is a sexy as sin standalone by not one but two of my favorite authors. I have read every single word these amazing women have written and I will never get enough. When I found out that they were writing a book together I might have scared my children with my excitement. The synopsis kicks ass so I will make this fast.
Seven days. That is what she is asking for. Seven days of lessons in seduction. Sexy days to teach her to drive men wild. Of course within this seven days he would also help her toss out her V card. At twenty-five she was tired of carrying it around. And she didn’t want to just give it to anyone. She wanted a man who she trusts. A man who knows his way around a woman’s body. A man with skills. Her deceased brother’s best friend and business partner, Graham Campbell. CEO of Adored, a lingerie company. A man who knows exactly how to make a woman feel adored. Sexy. Wanted. She has never felt that way but the minute she sees his desire, she knows she assigned the perfect teacher.
Graham and CJ have a special kind of friendship. It grew over time but two years ago when her brother, Sean died it turned into more. He wants to protect her. To be there for her, always. They know their quirks. They just fit. But, Graham has never seen her as more than a friend until now. He always knew she was sweet, beautiful, independent, and intelligent but now...he sees other sides of her and he wants to discover more. Explore her. In every sense of the word. But, if Sean was here, would he give him his blessing? He never thought anyone was good enough for CJ and he doesn’t either. Not even himself but what if? What if he did this? I fucking knew I would love this book but damn...it was even more than I expected. The characters are amazing. I felt invested in them for the very beginning until the very end. CJ has that shy, sweet demeanor with a side of sexy and flirty without knowing it. But once she lets it out, it’s on and it’s down right hot. Graham might not date long term but he also isn’t a complete manwhore either. He is just too busy for all that he would have to put into a relationship so he doesn’t do it. But, reading about this one week...he is good. Real good. At everything. Together, they are not only sexy as fuck but sweet, and funny.
Overall...I loved every minute of it! The characters. The lessons. The storyline. The passion. The lingerie. The movie references. Stephen King. Everything! I cried more than once. Laughed out loud. Got all kinds of hot and bothered. Thank you, Lauren and Lili for putting your words together to create this book. I hope you two do it again. Pretty please.

Good with His Hands is the first book in the A Good In Bed series by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente. My two favorite authors are a duo once again and I couldn’t be happier! I have read and loved every one of their books separately so when they write together...it’s magic.
Two years ago, Ruby and Jesse’s lives changed forever. She lost her best friend and he lost his sister. At the same time Ruby lost herself in that accident. She was happy and full of life then she woke up broken and empty. Now, two years later she was on the road to getting her life back. She was finished with physical therapy, she managed the family pie shop, and did art as a side hustle. On the outside, she was moving on but Jesse knew. The light was still missing. They were friendly growing up together but over the last two years they have become each other’s rocks and he wants to see her shine. To reach for the stars and after finding one of his sister’s lists with Ruby’s name on top, he knew this was just the thing she needed. Maybe he needed it too. A finding yourself adventure, together.
Two weeks. That’s all they had. She was on vacation and he was moving across country. So, they had two weeks to discover, explore, and find what makes her, her. And in the process they find that they are more than friends. Even still, they only have two weeks and what a sexy, life-changing, emotional, toe-curling ride. In and outside of the bedroom. Love this!! I do love my lists and I actually have a bucket list with ninety-five items on it. I need to get on it! Anyway, I loved that Claire made these kinds of lists for them. She sounds like a kick ass friend who knew Ruby better than even Ruby herself. Friendship Goals. And speaking of Ruby, I love her. She is more badass than she believes, beautiful inside and out, and deserves all the stars. Jesse knows it and it’s one of the reasons why I love him too. He is so sweet, funny, and a mechanic! Yum. Together, they are adorable, sexy, funny, and overall fantastic. I can’t wait for the next book!!

Gigi James loves a good competition. She loves board games, Rubix’s cube, and baking the best pies. She is beautifully unique with her fashion and her ways of having fun. She hasn’t met a man who could love for her. Then, she meet him. A unicorn. A sexy Brit who could solve a Rubix’s cube in under one minute, who can make her melt with his sexy brain, and swoony foreplay while playing Scrabble. One night. That’s all she wanted. She didn’t have time for more but when you catch a unicorn could you let him go?

So I started v card, after 20% of utterly boring and predictable pages, I tossed in that towel and moved on to book 2, and yawn… I just can’t, I want something authentic and interesting. Mad I spent money on this.
