A very enjoyable flight of imagination across different centuries. Mainly based around ancient legends and myths, it follows a rollercoaster ride of action on different continents, ending in Siberia, and the answers to many questions posed in the plot. Well paced, interesting characters, and great imagery.

Read in 2011 and it still resonates when I find the book on my shelf in 2025. I wish this author kept writing, but I have not found anymore books.
