This author frames her personal journey and development as a professional medium through the lens of the chakras. A small section of exercises/recommendations at the end with a website link to some chakra meditations but there are currently no meditations available on the website - says "stay tuned." Disappointing. I did enjoy reading about her journey.

Enlightened is an excellent book if you are just beginning your journey of awareness and enlightenment but will still prove to be an interesting read to those who are further along on this path. AnneMarie shares her personal story while also sharing relatable stories of her clients. There is much information on the seven chakras as well as some good practical chakra advice in the final chapter-chakra related movement, mantras, and even music suggestions. I personally experienced many aha moments while reading this book! So many pages are earmarked, passages highlighted, notes in the margins, and I'm already working my way through the recommended reading list at the end of the book. 4.5 stars, highly recommend!

At first, it was not what I was expecting. But as I kept reading, it was so much more. And enjoyed every word. The book talks about AnneMarie's experiences as a medium and discovering her gifts. As well as exploring the different chakras and their meanings. I found the book very eye-opening to mediums and reiki and how reiki is connected with each of the chakras! And booked my first reiki treatment! I feel like I learned a lot about chakras but also a lot about myself reflecting as i read through this book. Definitely a good read!

Finished this the day it arrived. It is a book where the author goes into details about chakras. But it’s more of a memoir about her life than anything. I would have liked more information on chakras. Some parts were stories about her life and clients and marriage. Not that it’s a bad thing. I just thought it was suppose to be more educational. I did learn a little though. I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway.

I think this book is a really good starting point for people new to learning about chakras and/or reiki.
It's easy to follow when learn along with the author.
