I’m a carpe diem, live-in-the-moment, kind of woman. But waking up in Vegas with a rock on my finger and a gorgeous man in my bed? Well, now I’m redefining what it means to roll the dice…
Especially because my new husband is Tennessee Thunderbolts center, Leif Bang.
Yes, he has electric blue eyes that pierce me to my core. For sure, I’ve never seen forearms quite like his. And — another point for him — he makes me fold over with laughter.
But he’s also the man my mother was scheming to set me up with once I settled in Knoxville for my new job.
Determined to start my new life on my own terms, the last thing I need — or want — is a wickedly charming husband who’s never had a serious girlfriend, much less an impulsive wife.
It’s fine because I’m all about those annulment papers. Except, our moms are old friends, I’m new in town, and Leif is nothing like I expected.
Especially when he asks me to fake this marriage a little while longer.
Now, I’m forced to embrace my life’s motto and leave things up to chance…
Hi! I'm Gina and I write realistic, relatable, sweet New Adult and Contemporary Romance books. A NJ native, I have lived and worked abroad before settling in Canada with my husband and Littles. Although I can't iron (at all), I am a passionate reader, frequent globetrotter, and aspiring baker (recipes appreciated!). I love hearing from fellow readers so please connect!
Book 4 of the Bang Brothers series, written by Gina Azzi and part of her Tennessee Thunderbolts series.
Includes: 🏒 Wants a reason to care more than his laidback reputation suggests 🌊 Wants to avoid repeating past mistakes 🏒 Vegas wedding they actually remember the reason for 🌊 Meddling mothers set them up with each other after they've parted 🏒 Determination to make their marriage work 🌊 Determination to figure out who SHE is as a person
I was hooked when I saw this was a Bang brother Vegas wedding but boy did it deliver! Cami is in Vegas with her friends celebrating graduation, her last opportunity to live it up before moving across the country to start a job her family is sure will help her settle down with. And after a relationship went majorly sour, Cami doesn't want to disappoint them again. When her group runs into Leif's friend's bachelor party, sparks fly and after a night of tequila and deep, soul baring conversation, they make the logical decision to get married. But the next morning, in the light of day, Cami realizes she's fallen back into her old wild ways and bolts, not wanting to be another disappointment. Only Leif could never see her that way and is determined to get back the only woman he's ever really felt anything for, if only she would answer his messages. Luckily for both of them (though it doesn't feel like it in the moment) their meddling mothers have decided to set them up, with each other. I can think of nothing worse than being ambushed into a set up with your Vegas spouse.
Ugh this book!!!!! Leif is a heck of a man and even though I wanted to throttle Cami very early on, I do get where she was coming from after how poorly her last celebrity romance went. This book also had one of the earliest adult conversations I've ever read in a romance. That's not to say that communication is easy breezy throughout. No, no. We still have troubles communicating our feelings and our needs which leads to some issues and had me near tears in the wee hours of the morning when I just wanted these babies to be happy and healthy and in love!!
Cami is…a bit of a mess. Past events she isn’t over, a man in front of her who she could easily love, and a mother that refuses to simply let her live her own life. But Leif sees her. He really does. And he gets her. But can she hold onto him when it seems that so many things are working against her?
I truly wanted someone to smack the cruel words out of the air before they got to Cami, and I absolutely wanted to see Melissa get a takedown for her lies about her own past with Leif. But what hurt most was the fact that Cami and Leif didn’t communicate when it mattered most. Or didn’t seem to. But they do learn from mistakes, and things do align for them to both see the truth. It doesn’t even take meddling mothers for it to happen, much to those mothers’ chagrin! It just takes love and commitment and words that mean things. Imagine that. Communication works!
Momma Bang gets the surprise of her life in Lock'em Down! What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas. When two people meet in the most unlikely places, it changes their lives forever. Leif Bang knew when he saw her, Cami was his idea of perfection: beautiful, outgoing, adventurous, and just what he hoped for in a forever partner. Cami asked Leif to marry her on a whim. All she knows about him is that he's handsome, funny, and nothing like the guys in her past. When she wakes up the morning after their wedding in Vegas, she runs because she's scared. Now, Leif must find her and convince her that their Vegas wedding is worth saving and not getting an annulment. She doesn't expect to have her mom try and set her up with her husband on a blind date. Cami and Leif have a chance to discover whether their wedding was meant to be or if it was a shot in the dark. Here's to love Vegas style!
This addition to the Bang Brothers will make you laugh, shed a few tears, hope like crazy, and sigh in relief. Gina Azzi is one of my favourite hockey authors, and I fell in love with her contribution to this multi-author series.
Another Bang brother bites the dust. It's Leifs turns now to find himself a woman. Who would have thought that one Vegas visit would bring him the woman he dreamed of as a boy?!
Camis trying to finally move on from her past mistakes. But before she becomes what her mother wants for her, she's in Vegas for a girls trip. Meeting Leif was not planned but having him in her life brings her much needed peace. But did her past leave too deep scars for her to let her guard down and accept his love without fear?
It was a touch and go for a minute, but their love despite being unconventional is a real deal and HEA is there for the taking.
Oh my gosh, I’m absolutely thrilled I signed up for this series as I’m experiencing sooooo many firsts with these authors❣️This is my first book by Gina and it definitely won’t be my last🙌
This is Leif Bang’s story and such a great story…always makes me think of connections that fate/destiny might have a hand in🥰 Suffice to say it starts off with Leif and Cami meeting in Vegas, getting to know each other, to getting married🙈 One of them disappears only to reappear in the most unusual way. Need I say more as you’ll need to read it to find out.
I can’t wait to see which Bang sibling is up next, but I’m here for it and I’ll be expanding my library with some more fabulous hockey romances and authors👏👏 I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️
Leif is in Vegas for a bachelor party with his former hockey teammates while Cami is spending a last minute weekend in Vegas with her girlfriends toasting their college graduation before she moves to Knoxville to start a new job far away from her overbearing mother. After a night of intense connection and the realization they both have connections to Minnesota and Tennessee, they find themselves a little tipsy and getting married. Cami wakes with regrets and ghosts Leif. A few weeks later when their mothers ambush them with a blind date, Leif is furious, but relieved to find out he’s been set up with his wife and Cami panics.
I enjoyed this story and stayed up late to read it. I like that both characters are laid back but also part wild child. This book is very hockey light - talk of team and interaction with some other players but no games or ice time on the pages. Love, love, love Leif who wants this marriage to work out, even though he doesn’t really know his wife well. He feels their connection and recognizes Cami has some quirks, but goes all-in anyway. With just enough angst to make it interesting, this is a great read. Part of the Bang Brothers series, but also part of the Tennessee Thunderbolts series, with references Gina Azzi’s Burnt Clover series, as well. All that said, it can easily be read as a standalone!
LOCK 'em DOWN is book #4 in the Band Brothers series, and it was another terrific read. I haven't read anything from author Gina Azzi before, that is going to change. What's the well-known saying ... What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas? Not this time, it moves to Knoxville, Tennessee, bringing along with it plenty of laughs, some soul searching, and one very surprised Mama Bang. Has her task already been completed?
Cami Coleman has joined her friends in Vegas to celebrate graduating from college. She's been hurt in the past and has decided it's time for fun and flirty Cami to re-emerge. Leif Bang and his Tennessee Thunderbolts teammates are in Vegas to celebrate the upcoming marriage of one of the players. Sharing heated looks across a room Cami and Leif are instantly attracted to each other. Ditching their respective parties, they spend a night together full of flirtation and conversation leading to a proposal and a wedding. Will they stay married or is an annulment in their future?
I loved Leif and Cami, their pet names for each other were cute, their chemistry was incredible, and the growth of their friendship was wonderful. They were both dealing with issues that have affected their thinking, for Cami it was a previous relationship and for Leif it was wanting to find a love like his parents shared. There was a real push and pull between them, Leif wanted to continue their relationship, however Cami was unsure and having second thoughts. Then add into the story their two mothers, they were all for the marriage continuing.
LOCK 'em DOWN was another fabulous addition to this series. Leif was just the sweetest and Cami was simply adorable. Next up is LIGHT 'em UP by Kelly Jamieson, and this time it's daughter Annie who is getting a visit from Mama Stella. All I can say is look out Annie.
“No one marries the right person by accident, but I did.”
Lock’em Down starts with a flirty, spontaneous adventure and ends with an emotional journey for Leif and Cami that is a bit painful and full of heartfelt emotions. Leif and Cami are instantly attracted to each other when they meet in Vegas and impulsively get married. In the morning, regrets set in for Cami and she flees. Then when her mother sets her up, she comes face-to-face with her husband.
“Against all odds, Leif gave me something real to trust in. Him.”
Cami had a lot of growing to do throughout this story. A mistake in her past had caused her to begin to doubt herself and her choices and she didn’t feel like she could trust her judgement. Leif was the first man who truly saw her and accepted her for who she really was, but Cami had to learn to accept herself for who she was.
“I want something real enough—something that matters with someone I care about—so I can be more than just Laid-back Leif.”
Leif was a sweetheart. He was ready to find his one and he was willing to wait for Cami to get on the same page. I loved how patient and understanding he was about Cami’s feelings and this sweet, dirty-talking man was both fun and serious. He was an all-around good guy.
“This ink is permanent, babe. You and me—we’re marked together for life.”
The flirty banter between Cami and Leif was fun and full of sparks. Their chemistry was electric, but they had to learn how to communicate their feelings. Old fears and doubts had to be dealt with in order for them to truly move forward. Lock’em Down was a fast-paced, swoony read that is full of humor, heat and heart and will have you rooting for these two to figure out their complicated relationship.
Cami Coleman got into a mess three years ago that she still hasn't totally healed from. She moved back home and let her mom take over her life. She's doing a last minute graduation celebration in Vegas with her girlfriends without telling her mom before she moves to Tennessee to start a new job as an accountant, not a job she is in love with but one her parents approve of. While out with her girlfriends she meets Leif Bang, they hit it off, spend the evening talking and having fun and she proposes to him and he says yes and they get married.
Leif Bang plays for the Tennessee Thunderbolts hockey team. He's a laid back easy going guy. He's always wanted what his parents have, a great relationship, love and he's seeing his brothers find it as well as his teammates. He is attracted to Cami right away and just knows she is the one. She has no idea who he is or what he does for a living, she just likes him. "I like the guy you are, Leif, and I like the man you want to become"
With a purple plastic princess ring with a glitter crown he marries Cami. In the morning she is gone! Doesn't return any of his calls, nothing.
Mama Bang and her friend Cheryl get together for lunch and want their kids to meet, imagine the shock for Leif and Cami that their moms are trying to set them up and Cami has to admit they are married.
Cami and Leif start to spend time with each other and it grows to so much more they decide to marry again with family and friends around. But over hearing some things that were said Cami leaves again thinking she doesn't deserve him and second guessing everything they shared. Is it over?
4.5 stars Totally enjoying the Bang Brothers series. This was sweet and emotional.
First and foremost I am addicted to this series and now one of my favourite authors has an addition to the Bang Brothers Hockey. Right from the start, I knew I would be hooked and unable to put it down. Lock 'em Down is a strangers to lovers, surprise marriage romance that is filled with flirting, great banter and chemistry that cannot be ignored. Ms. Azzi gives us the next Bang brother that Mama Bang is working on getting married but the joke is on her. Leif Bang is in Vegas for a bachelor party only to meet Cami, a girl who is out for a girl's weekend and to let her hair down from the life that she has been living. The two of them end up at a Vegas chapel and on a whim, get married. The funny thing is she has no idea who he is or that he is a professional hockey play for the Thunderbolts. Boy is she in for a surprise. She disappears and leaves Leif wondering WTH. Fast forward and the two of them are being set by their mothers. Talk about an awkward meeting. Well, things go from strange to hot and heavy because Leif wants to give their marriage a try and Cami is unsure because of her last relationship. I loved the way that Leif saw Cami for who she was and wanted to support her in any way he could. The two of them meeting was kismet. Now their marriage was not all roses and there were a lot of bumps in the road that they both had to overcome. One is the lack of communication. Another one is jumping to the wrong conclusions. Cami overhears his teammates talking about their marriage and things do not go as planned. Can they get over these bumps to the smooth road to their HEA? I cannot wait for the next installment in the Bang Brothers Hockey series. I'm looking forward to Mama Bang and her sly ways of getting her children their HEA.
Several years earlier Cami made a big mistake that affected her and her family in many ways. One of the biggest things was their protection of her, making sure she now did everything by the books, the college they wanted her at, the career they wanted, and the list continues. So when her friend and college roommate offered a weekend getaway to Vegas, Cami jumped at the chance. But what she wasn’t expecting was to find a man one night that made all her bells jingle. Now the question was could she work through the past and realize that Leif and this life was exactly what she needed. Or would she continue down the path that her family wanted her to be on but she definitely didn’t.
Leif Bang had gotten a warning from his brothers that their mother was on the warfare, the romance warfare. Trying to make sure that all of her babies would find love and soon. He actually was one step ahead of her, by meeting up with Cami in Vegas and this one stop at a chapel. While it might have been a drunken romance, there was no doubt in Leif’s mind that Cami was the one for him. That together they could find the same connection his parents had. Could he convince her of that or would she never give him the chance.
This is the 4th book in the Bang Brothers Series and is about Leif Bang who plays for the Tennessee Thunderbolts, Cami Coleman just graduating college, a quick trip to Vegas, and a surprise morning after. Gina Azzi knows the right way to put words together that capture your attention right from the start. The book is hot and yes you can get a bit frustrated at Cami but then that is part of her character and what she has to work through. If you haven’t read any of her previous books or ones in the Tennessee Thunderbolts series, you need to add them to your list.
I know there’s only so many Bang siblings but I want even more from this family! “Lock ‘em Down” is a romantic, heartfelt and steamy Vegas marriage hockey romance that was a great addition to the series.
After a relationship that ended badly, Cami has become a seize the day kind of woman and that applies to a spontaneous trip to Las Vegas with her friends. The last thing she was expecting was to meet a guy that she instantly clicks with. Leif Bang is in town with his friends for a bachelor party and is the laid back guy of the group. Leif and Cami hit it off and one thing leads to them getting married. Cami isn’t looking forever but Leif knows that there is something and is determined to lock it down with her.
This was such a fun addition to the series and I loved Cami and Leif. Cami had been through some terrible things with a guy she trusted and that definitely gave her a different outlook on life. She’s caring, smart and wants to live life the fullest. Leif is a Bang brother so I knew I was already going to like him. His heart is genuine and he’s a great teammate. He’s close with Mama Bang like his siblings and I love how she pops in to help her kids with stuff they didn’t even know they needed help with. I loved how Leif and Cami met, it was a classic Vegas meet cute. The two had an unknown connection at the time which made me smile because it was another perfect thing to bring together. These two might have been strangers in the beginning but they genuinely worked their friendship and relationship. The ending was so romantic and I can’t wait to see what Mama Bang does next.
“Lock ‘em Down” is the fourth book in the Bang Brothers Hockey series, which is a shared world written by multiple authors, and it’s also the seventh book in Gina Azzi’s Tennessee Thunderbolts hockey romance series.
This book tells the story of Leif Bang and Camille “Cami” Coleman, two strangers who meet and spontaneously decide to get married in Vegas. It follows Leif and Cami’s journey as they face the consequences of their choice and attempt to give their marriage a real chance.
Leif. He was a total sweetheart, I loved how protective he was of Cami and the way he was so serious about actually trying to make their marriage work. Even though Leif had never had a serious relationship before, something about Cami intrigued him, and he wanted the opportunity to get to know her better. He was a genuinely good person as well, and I liked that about him.
Cami. She had a lot of baggage, which was why she was so afraid of trying to make things work with Leif. I feel like Cami had a lot of things to work through, and I think the fact that Leif was so supportive of her and respectful of her wants and needs was a huge reason why she was able to start healing. She had some lovely character development, which I enjoyed.
I thought this was fun, quick hockey romance read that I would recommend to fans of the Vegas Wedding trope and those who like to read about meddling family members (in this case on both sides)! The Bang Brothers Hockey series has been a fantastic journey so far, and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
Lock 'Em Down by Gina Azzi delivers an engaging mix of romance and sports, making it an enjoyable read for fans of both genres. The story revolves around Leif Bang, a center for the Tennessee Thunderbolts, who finds himself in a whirlwind of unexpected events after a night in Las Vegas. Azzi's ability to weave humor and heartfelt moments into the narrative keeps me invested in Leif's journey of self-discovery and love.
The characters are well-developed, particularly Leif, whose charm and vulnerability resonate throughout the story. The chemistry between Leif and the female lead is palpable, adding depth to their relationship as they navigate the complexities of love and commitment. Azzi's writing style is fluid and engaging, allowing me to easily immerse themselves in the world of hockey and romance.
However, while the plot is entertaining, some elements may feel predictable. The pacing occasionally slows, particularly in the middle chapters, which can detract from the overall momentum of the story. Despite these minor drawbacks, Lock 'Em Down remains a solid addition to the Bang Brothers Hockey series, offering a satisfying blend of humor, romance, and sports drama.
Overall, I would rate Lock 'Em Down a solid four stars for its engaging characters, witty dialogue, and the heartwarming exploration of love amidst the chaos of life. It's a delightful read that will appeal to fans of contemporary romance and sports fiction alike.
4.25 stars. Cami, the female lead, made a mistake that nearly ended in reputational disaster several years ago. Her family is still caught up in fear of the possible consequences and continues to hover over her. Determined to break free, she’s accepted a new job far away from them and she’s having one last hurrah with her friends before she moves.
Leif, the male lead, is fourth born of six siblings in a hockey focused family and known for his laidback approach to life. He’s out with friends for a bachelor party when he sees Cami across the room. When the two groups engage, Cami and Leif hit it off and spend the night together, including getting married.
But Cami is sure Leif will come to regret marrying her, though Leif is confident he’s made a good choice and they can make a success of their marriage. Now he just needs to convince her, even though her history is coming back to haunt them…
This story is dual POV, well written, and a steamy, fast-paced, contemporary sports romance. I enjoyed Leif’s combination of confidence, calm, and certainty. He provided balance to Cami’s anxiety. I sympathised with Cami’s concerns and worries and enjoyed her character development. I enjoyed that, by the end, she felt confident about what she wanted. I enjoyed their intimate scenes. I enjoyed the supportive secondary characters.
I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.
Another Bang brother to fall for along with Cami!!
Oh my - I adored Leif and Cami! These two have instant chemistry and while they went to a bit of an extreme in Vegas - it was obvious that they shared a unique and special connection.
I so loved that Leif wanted to have stakes in a relationship and poor Cami - that girl has been through more than she should and is SO HARD on herself! My heart just broke for her.
"...I believed she was giving me stakes. I trusted that she saw me for me and understood things on a level no one else cared to see." She did Leif, she did - even if her actions don't show it!
"Weren't we supposed to ride the wave of life?...'All you can do is crest and coast...'" I love that analogy and you'll understand the meaning even more when reading the story.
Mama Bang isn't in this one as much as I would have liked, but this is another one where the connection started before she arrived to meddle...LOL!
My favorite part is a scene that could have been cliche, but wasn't. Brava Gina Azzi for making sure Cami stayed true! Of course, there are lots of ups and downs and insecurities on both sides, but luckily this one just felt like things would work out rather quickly.
Sweet story - I am loving these Bangs more each time...and Book 5 looks to be very interesting!
I voluntarily requested and read an advance reader copy.

Cami and Leif
This story is about Cami and Leif. Cami, who celebrates her graduation In Vegas before she starts working a job that should help her settle down. And with what went down at her last relationship, she does not want to disappoint her family again. But this is also the night she meets Leif. Who is in Vegas with his friends and who are all there for a bachelor party. Sparks fly between Cami and Leif and after a night of drinking and talking they end up making a life changing decision. One that leads to fear of being a disappointment again when the next morning comes. And so Cami bolts and disappears. Leif is hellbent on getting her back, because she could never be anything else as the woman he fell hard for. And luck works in his favor when his mom decides to meddle in his life and sets him up with Cami. And her mom was also a part of that idea. Cami was a relatable character but one that sometimes could have used a push too. Leif is a wonderful character. But both had a terrible way to communicate or the lack of. In the end it everything works out the way it was supposed to and we have a happy end worth waiting for.
I loved the base of this story line – and the story line of the series. The Bang mother is trying to help each of her children find happiness, and in this book, she is trying to help her son, Leif, find happiness. Except she is a little too late! Leif meets Cami in Vegas – both are there for different reasons: Leif is there with friends for a bachelor weekend and Cami is there with friends to celebrate her college graduation. Leif and Cami hit it off – even though she doesn’t know who he is – and they discover not only are they both from the same state but also will be living in the same city in Tennessee when she moves. Their night went so well that they jumped the gun and got married, except she ghosted him the next day. Kismet happened when she moved to Knoxville and her mother and his mother make them meet up for lunch, and they have to admit that they got married.
They decide to try to make their marriage work, but its hard since Cami has something that happened in her past that makes her question everything. But Leif is determined that she is the one for him and ready to be her forever.
This book was so fantastic, and I loved reading it from start to finish! I loved the tie-in to the Burnt Clovers too!
Another outstanding read in this multi-author series. While each book thus far (thus being 4th in the 6 book series) can be read as standalones, I highly recommend reading them all and in order. The series revolves around ”Mama Bang” wanting to see her 6 children settled and happy in more than just their careers. She wants them all to find their special love just as she did with her husband Lars. So she sets out to play matchmaker one child at a time.
The synopsis above will give you the gist of Cami and Leif’s story so I won’t rehash it. I’ll just say that like the first 3 books Lock’em Down made me laugh, swoon and so glad I took a chance with this series. The men are all sexy athletes with a soft side for their family and special someone’s. The ladies are all lucky to have a ‘Bang’ in their life. But trust me when I say the women sure don’t make it easy for the guys. But then nothing about true love is ever 100% easy, right!
I strongly recommend grabbing up the Bang Brothers series asap. You won’t be sorry you did so.
Leif Bang, a hockey player and Cami Coleman, a new college graduate meet in Vegas and have an immediate connection. Ditching their friends they spend time together eventually stopping at a chapel and getting married! After a steamy wedding night, Cami realizes she has too much baggage to be married and takes off. Luckily they both live in Knoxville and funny story, Mama Bang and Cami’s mother set them up together. They agree to work on their marriage and stay together. Cami especially needs to acknowledge those old hurts and get past them while communicating with Leif to make their new life work. Leif thinks (hopes) since he is technically married his mother will back off. It is nice how the Bang kids love and accept their meddling mother. The path to their HEA is not smooth but I enjoyed the journey with this fun couple. If you are reading this for the next Bang Brothers or the next Thunderbolts book you will not be disappointed. If you haven’t started either series you are missing out! I voluntarily reviewed this book.
This is the first book by Gina Azzi I’m reading and loving that it’s part of this fantastic series Bang Brothers. Lock em Down is the fourth book in this series and getting to meet Leif Bang and Cami Coleman makes it that much better. Cami is finally getting her life back together after three years of doubt and when a weekend trip with her friends in Vegas has her meeting a gorgeous man she never knew that her life would be turned upside down in the best way. Leif Bang is part of a large family of NHL players but he is a guy who feels like the outsider, he loves his career but wants what his other brothers have found and that is a connection with someone and when he meets Cami he knows that she might just be it. Leif & Cami have a whirlwind night in Vegas and when he meets her again he knows that it must be fate but convincing her of that will be a challenge. Watching this couple navigate through a lot of ups and downs and some meddling from their moms finding a HEA is the only thing that will make it all perfect in the end.
Another Bang brother falls for love in Lock ‘Em Down, book four in this fantastic Bang Brothers series. This is Leif Bang’s story and as part of the Tennessee Thunderbolts we are treated to a hot hockey player falling for the beautiful Camille (Cami) Coleman and it all starts with a moment at a bar, bonding at a tattoo parlor and one impulsive night in Vegas. It was so enjoyable to watch Leif refuse to give up on Cami even when she ghosted him, but fate had other plans when both of their meddling mothers set them up and they meet again. They had a connection from the first night and while Cami is a little more unsure after the issues she had with her rocker ex-boyfriend, Leif is all in on their marriage and finally gets Cami to agree to give them a chance. Being impulsive has gotten Cami into trouble before but there is something about Leif that keeps pulling her in and giving into his love was the best decision she ever made. I loved their journey and was thrilled to be along for the ride.
This is the 4th book in the Bang Brothers hockey series and it's Leif's turn to find someone to marry. However, before his mom can even get to him, the deed is done.
Leif is in Las Vegas with his fellow teammates celebrating on them getting married. Cami is there with her friends and from the minute they see each other across the room, it's electric.
They hang out all evening and are hitting it off. Leif invites her to continue celebrating and takes her to a tattoo parlor where they get matching tattoos in addition to Leif getting his own tattoo. Cami, who's a little wild and has a past that worries her parents, asks Leif to marry her. They get married and then Cami disappears.
Luckily for Leif, Cami was moving into his town. If that wasn't enough luck for Leif, it turns out that Mama Bang is trying to set Leif up with her friend's daughter. Guess who it is? When Cami and her mother appear at lunch with Leif and his mother, Leif is pleasantly surprised. Will these two stay married or will they split given how they started?
This is the fourth book in this amazing series, and this is Leif and Cami’s story. Leif is the Tennessee Thunderbolts Center, while Cami has just graduated from college, and after making a mistake her protective family, ensure that she tows the line, and does what they wants her to do. When Cami’s friend and roommate offers her a getaway to Vegas for a weekend, she jumps at the change. Leif has already been informed by his brother’s that “Mama Bang” is on her way to him, ready to find him his significant other. A drunken night in Vegas, and Leif and Cami wake up married. Leif is convinced that Cami is the one for him, but can he convince her? This is a well written story which is easy to read, with family, friendships, emotions, humor, witty banter, suspense, crazy shenanigans, engaging and realistic characters, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining, fun, and spicy addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Leif is in Vegas attending a bachelor party for a former hockey teammate, and Cami is in Vegas celebrating graduating from college with her girlfriends. After a night out with their friends, Cami and Leif impulsively get married. After spending an incredible night together, Cami wakes the next morning regretting her marriage to Leif and leaves. Cami ghosts Leif and leaves Vegas for Tennessee to start her new job. Cami and Leif are both surprised when they meet their mothers at a restaurant and realize their mothers wanted to set them up. Can Leif convince Cami to give their marriage a real shot? Can Cami let go of her past mistakes and embrace the future she can have with Leif? Will Leif finally get the stakes he has been looking for? I really enjoyed Lock 'em Down by Gina Azzi. Leif and Cami are a great couple with explosive chemistry. I would definitely recommend getting Lock 'em Down by Gina Azzi and the other books in the Bang Brothers series. I received an ARC copy of this book, and I am leaving my honest review.
This book gets 3.75 stars. I would have given more but for the love of a Bang, Cami Coleman got on my ever loving and last nerve. She was so stuck in her chrysalis but that girl just would not really work to set herself free. Not the love, heat and desire of a good man, not supportive siblings and friends, not even the quirky mom of a good man could coerce this girl to pick a struggle. Instead she just went along to get along. Living her life for the approval of others to rectify a serious and youthful indiscretion.
Leif Bang on the other hand, needed to be cloned and overnight expressed to me. His nickname was “laid back Leif”. No. More like a port in a storm, stalwart and a ride or die. At least in my mind he centered the book. All the secondary characters were enjoyable.
I am relatively new to this author and all of her books are easy to read and enjoyable. The spice is more sweet and connected than smutty but they give you the feeling that the MC are falling for each other and physically well matched in the sheets.
Mama Bang is moving through the kids at warp speed, but this time, the kids kinda beat her to the punch. Leif and Cami's chance meeting in Vegas was not expected, but it was a night worth remembering for both of them. They clicked immediately and it was like Leif actually saw the real her not the person she was trying so hard to be to cover up her mistakes from the past.
When they are back in Tennessee and cross paths again, Leif pulls no punches and is firm in wanting to see where things will go. Will Cami give them the time and effort to see if this is worth holding onto. Can she let her demons from the past go and enjoy the man that is wanting to give her everything?

Leif and Cami are adorable, I think! Leif is so easy going but has a side of seriousness that he doesn't show often. He and Cami meet while in Vegas, her on a girls trip and him on a guys trip. Leif is already in his own head about wanting to meet the woman that he can have his forever with like his brothers and his best friend. Then he sees Cami and BANG, love at first site?
Cami has a complicated past that she is trying to recover from and in doing so becomes someone that will please her family but not herself. She has lost her spark, her creativity and chooses a safe career to please her parents. Then Leif enters the picture and sees the real Cami, loves that Cami and encourages her to be her!
This is such a sweet and encouraging book of love, redemption and forever. I love all of the Bang books so far (and the authors) but this one captured my heart the most. Leif is that guy every woman dreams of and his family is just the icing on the cake.
The one thing that Leif is missing from his life is a woman to share it with. A trip to Vegas to celebrate the bachelor party for one of his teammates brings Cami into his life. When his bride disappears he isn’t sure how to track her down however their matchmaking mothers come to the rescue and now he is determined to show her that even though their wedding was spontaneous that doesn’t mean they don’t belong together.
A rash decision in Cami’s past has changed her and she is trying to do what her parents believe is best for her even if it includes a career, she isn’t sure she wants. She is worried that marrying Leif is another rash decision she is going to regret which causes some turmoil, but it might also be the best decision she has ever made.
The relationship between Cami and Leif was filled with family and fun but it also had an emotional component due to Cami’s insecurities. Leif was supportive and understanding as he shows Cami that all he needs is her.
The Bang Brothers in the Thunderbolts world? Yes please!
Bang Brother's Book 4 takes us back into Gina Azzi's Tennessee Thunderbolts world with Cami and Leif’s story! And what a fabulous story it is. It's hard to believe these two grew up streets away from each other in Minnesota, their paths could have crossed numerous times, but they met on a random night in Vegas. Of course, them deciding to get married that night gave us a great story in Ms. Azzi's easy to read, flowing writing style, with humour and heart, lots of fun, lots of steam, and plenty of drama and emotions. There were nice tie ins to the Bolts hockey world and Cami's backstory, had us dipping into The Burnt Clovers Trilogy, with Levi making an appearance in her history. I thoroughly enjoyed this; Mama Bang's interference was minor so I'm looking forward to seeing how she meddles in the lives of her last two single children.
