It's a beautiful day for a parade, so why are people suddenly fighting? This looks like the work of Ares, the god of war. He has tricked everyone so he can take over the world. No one can stand in his way. No one, that is, except Wonder Woman!

I picked this one up on a whim and found it to be actually a lot more decent than I expected. I liked the style of the artwork- it seemed fresh and modern and portrayed Wonder Woman as both strong and feminine. The words are probably too advanced for an early reader- smirked, Ares, lasso etc. and the writing felt very flat, but probably not a horrible choice if it will bring enjoyment.

Of all of Jaffe's Wonder Woman books, this is the one that most closely resembles the plots of the actual WW comic, with Wonder Woman fighting Strife. A good book overall.
