There is so much incorrect information in this book, so much that it would be impossible to note it all here. This book is also very poorly written with an extremely poor layout, for the Kindle version that is.
I would advise anybody wanting to study this cert to choose another form of written material, as this book would not help you to pass the exam, which is hard to pass with good study material. The pervious editions of this book were written by Darril Gibson, but this new 701 study guide is authored by Joe Shelley, who, (in my opinion) is not in the same class as the late Darril Gibson.
There are many good books available for this particular security+ exam (701), online and in good book stores, that will help you to take and pass the CompTIA Security+ (SYo-701) exam. My advice is to Stay clear of this title and look elsewhere for your study material.
