Felt more like author notes than a story. Some moments were well fleshed out making you excited to read more. Then... huge leaps, sparse details, and stilted place holder conversations.
I got this book on stuff your kindle day and finally got around to reading it. The book is written a bit immaturely and there’s something a bit off with the pacing. The story idea itself has potential it just feels skippy, maybe disjointed is a better word. The story itself is short but it feels really long if that makes sense.
This book had so much potential to be good. The premise of the book was interesting. However, the transition between chapters is jarring. It's like each one jumps through time. There's also so many contradictions in the book and it was hard to follow what was happening at times because of that.
I’m giving 5 stars for the writing, such amazing descriptions it was amazing to go through the book and actually feel like I could be in the forest. It was a quick read but such a great romantic story compared to some that I have read lately. I loved how light it felt to read while making my way through the book. I definitely recommend any book by her, it’s absolutely worth it!
Who doesn't love a story in the forest? I've just finished this and really enjoyed reading it. The romance, the open air. Its a quick read that I could read during my breaks at works and always eager to get back to it. I do recommend, especially if you fancy something different but want romance. It's a sweet one 😊
I received a free eARC of this book, and this is my honest and voluntary review.
In The Forest Keeper’s Princess, we meet Princess Amanda of Eldoria. Bored of her duties as a princess and being kept in the castle, she would do anything for adventure. When she meets Kael, the Forest Guardian, her life will change forever.
I really enjoyed this! Stephanie has an absolutely incredible talent for bringing characters alive within a matter of sentences and this was obvious in this book. I absolutely adored Amanda, and found myself relating to her in a way I didn’t expect! Kael is perfect in this story and perfect for Amanda - trying to give her the life she had always wished for.
At 140 pages long, this took me 2 hours to read. I highly recommend it to any romance and fantasy fan.
I loved this story from the beginning through the end! It automatically drew me in and it was such a fast read! Such a romantic novella that was such a palette cleanser from my usual dark romance reads!
✨️MAKE SURE TO UPDATE YOUR KINDLES. THIS BEAUTIFUL STORY HAS BEEN REVISED✨️
The Forest Keeper's Princess is a great quick read. I love all the descriptions of this beautiful world. It makes me want to get outside with nature. This is a great fantasy romance.
What beautiful writing. Her descriptions of Princess Amanda’s surroundings not only transported me like a magical tunnel into her world but made it all come alive while warming my heart. The love and pull Amanda has to Kael tells me their lives were always meant to intertwine.
Completely different from what I normally read (smut and spice) but man I loved it just as much as my other books I’ve read! This author has got to be one of my ABSOLUTE faves!
