This is a book no child will want to put down, with its breathtakingly beautiful illustrations, which bring the story to life. Each page is full of magic and wonders, making it a marvellous addition to any child’s bookshelf. Even though I have now read each book multiple times, each time I read them afresh, new images stick out at me, or something delightfully quirky and unique makes me smile in a different beat of a sentence. My favourite details today (though they were different yesterday and will change by tomorrow!) are the sea salt at Witch Hazel’s and the newly delicate handling of the bottle babies.
