Yes, Aja! When I began this read, I wasn't sure how things would turn out for Camile. After learning about her condition, and how she freely dated without consequence, I wondered if she would find love. Did she even want it? She wasn't real keen of men being on the up and up anyway! However, between the two guys she was currently seeing, one had the potential to set her world ablaze.
Grady! I loved him right from the start. His slow New Orlean's drawl was sexy as hell! He had a big heart, that loved all those around him, especially Camile. Although there was no title on what they were doing, he knew that in time, she would love him as he already loves her. The time, attention, and care he gave to Camile was swoon worthy! 🤩 Their journey to love was an experience, that I enjoyed witnessing.
I appreciated learning some history of New Orleans, and especially Mardi Gras. If I wasn't already planning to go next year, this would have certainly pushed me to do it sooner rather than later.
Then life began to happen, and choices needed to be made, what would they do. They sat down like mature adults, laid all the cards on the table and talked it out. No drama, nothing messy, just grown up ish! The love and support they both received from family and friends was nice to see.
I hope there is more to this story, as I would love to know if they get to the bottom of Camile's issues. Is Grady's mother, ok? Great work! 👍👍👍
I loved how just about everyone in this book had loving, genuine relationships. I loved how each character embraced each other and how everyone came together for one reason or another!
The Final story in this series , that focuses on the girlfriends Imani, Gianni and Camille aka Mina
This book focuses on Camille, she has epilepsy and lost her mother at a young age. Her father has been the rock in her life. She meets Grady at a night out with Gianni two years ago and they have been friend with benefits ever since . She love how he make her feel and how effortless it is. They decide to take your relationship to the next level!
Can Grady deal with all the changes in his life , his girl having epilepsy, his mom having stage 2 cancer and his auntie given him, her legacy in the form of a house in New Orleans?
This spice in this book definitely levelled up , the love connection between Grady and Camille is too deep.
Side note: You learn about New Orleans and their festive season and history surrounding it . I would like to experience “Madri gras for myself one day“ I just love how all three girl friends found solid men that they can call partners
