T.B. Phillips debuted in 2019 with his award winning series Dreamers of Andalon, a cautionary fantasy adventure taking place twelve hundred years in our future and set in the age of sail. He has been lauded for his skillfully choreographed sea battles and action sequences, painting a vibrant picture of detail directly into the reader's mind.

He is a former sailor and educator. He served the United States Navy as a Chief Cryptologic Technician and Analyst, living out his own adventures while learning about the world. Many of characters are a sum of the people he met and interacted with during his travels, as evidenced by the comradery displayed in his novels. He retired from active duty in 2008 and taught English and History before becoming a public school principal.

He began his novelist journey after a challenge by his children. As a single father he worked hard to encourage literacy and interest in the arts, and he and his children read and discussed books of all genres throughout the years.

T.B. Phillips is originally from Wichita Falls, TX and resides in Fort Worth, TX with his beautiful wife (and super-intelligent marketing manager) and their blended family of six children.

He humbly thanks you for finding his work entertaining, and hopes to do so for many years to come!

A little confusing at times

I feel some of the flashbacks get confusing during the book. It would help if there was a clear way to separate them.

Wow. I read this one twice! Usually vampires are not my thing, but this one grabbed me.

Some might see this as Vampires vs Dragons. Not so. (If it were I would submit dragons would win hands down.) This and Legends are the stories of BOTH.

I was lucky to read Legends first and Mythos immediately after. What a clever concept to tell a story from two perspectives.

Legends tells the story from Kado's (the younger brother) point of view. It’s dragons with a bit of vampires.

Mythos is the story from Briaca’s (the older sister) point of view. It’s vampires with a bit of dragons.

WELL DONE! I would say Legends is easier to handle for young teens. Lots of adventure and drama. Mythos is for sure good for the older teen. Bloody vampires can be scary yet quite a story!

Phillips stepped up his game with these!

I enjoyed how this one was shifting time periods and I loved Austin, Tx the most, and Vince is the best 🤣. Without spoilers, the transformation that the characters go though…. 🤌 So great book, made me laugh. It’s great for a quick read
