Only one word can describe Chef Jameson Fury... SHAMELESS . He parades around with that sexy smirk and those fabulous abs like he’s the king of the kitchen. Of all the places he could choose to open his new restaurant, why does it have to be right next door to mine? It’s hard enough trying to get my place up and running without having him hovering around and disrupting my business. Not to mention the way my body betrays me every time he’s close. I should despise him. But with every prank, every act of sabotage we take against each other... The tension growing between us inches closer to personal and away from professional. Things are heating up, and not just in our kitchens... All because of this shameless chef.
Sinfully Shameless Chef is the third book in The Fury Family Series from USA Today Bestselling Author Gwyn McNamee. Grab this steamy enemies to lovers romance about two chefs competing to open restaurants next door to each other who are willing to do anything to win the race but aren't prepared for what the heat in their kitchens does to their hearts.
Jameson is finally getting what he has worked for since he was five years old. He could have done without the real estate agent super fan though. He can't believe she showed up to show him and his partner Grant the property with the Foodie Magazine edition with him on the cover asking for an autograph. But the space was perfect and the up-and-coming residential area didn't have any restaurants in the area, unlike Manhattan which had twenty within a block area.
Izzy is livid. A huge truck just pulled into the space she had planned to park and the stupid gorgeous jerk just smiled and winked and told her he was there first. Now she and her best friend Rochelle are soaking wet after having to trek two blocks to the perfect rustic space for her dream restaurant. She planned to honor her grandmother's recipes giving them her own little twist.
Only the jerk who took her parking space is a famous chef and plans to open his restaurant right next door. The war is on.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This is the last book in the Fury Family series and can be read as a standalone although I highly recommend you read both Bash and Rachel's stories.
Jameson comes from hockey royalty, but his dream has always been to be a chef. Following in his father's footsteps was the last thing he wanted to do. Izzy was determined to fulfill her dreams no matter the roadblocks standing in her way. Jameson was doing everything he could to make sure her restaurant didn't open but she had a few tricks up her sleeve as payback.
This book is smoking hot and downright hilarious. Izzy's alterations to Jameson's menu was laugh out loud funny and I can just picture him on TV trying to laugh it off as a joke. But as funny as this back and forth rivalry is it is also the most heart-wrenching of the series and I warn you in advance to have a box of Kleenex handy.
I highly recommend this book and the complete series.
Wow 🥵 the Fury family is just 🥵 every book has been hot but there is something about Jameson!!
I have to say that the Fury Family series is easily one of my favorites by Gwyn McNamee and while Bash is still my favorite there is something about Jameson!!
The angst between Izzy and Jameson is just 🤌🏻 I kept turning the page to get more of them! SO MUCH S3XUAL TENSION!! It’s hot
This book has amazing amounts of: 🔪Enemies to Lovers 🔪Work Rivals 🔪Sabotaging/Pranking 🔪Angst 🔪Spicy!
Jameson will live/star in my kitchen/chef fantasies now!!! Especially with his sexy smirk!!
This is one of those frustrating books where I just want to slap the characters. From the very opening line you find Jameson to be a cocky - lets go with jerk to keep it clean - though other words would be much more fitting. Izzy is a little on the not really pathetic, but somewhere close to that side in that she really just keeps taking things and not really standing up for herself. While yes there is tension between them, it is kind of of the absurd side. It goes from the extreme of back and forth to I love you, I hate you, I love you, I hate you. Almost through three quarters of the book would I say Jameson came of as a jerk and I'd say parts were rather crude -especially in thoughts, though he finally had some redeeming qualities at the end. Both characters had a crude aspect to them, and no I am not being a prude, but really it just seems Jameson views of women are just objects to be toyed with and tossed aside, even when he supposedly started to care for Izzy (wasn't till the end that it felt like this ideology changed). It wasn't until almost to the end that Jameson start to possible show some human emotion and caring and then at that point Izzy turned into a a bit jerk, albeit with good intentions behind it (don't want to give any spoilers). Why couldn't she just tell him how she really felt instead of going through all the dramatics. Just frustrating- you want to slap them and say get you stuff together. Then at the end the dramatics took a 180 and almost became a little on the sappy side - it just goes to extremes. I will say there were some cute parts, and some funny parts. There were also lots of spicy parts, in which it was like okay guys, leave a little bit to the imagination, again side on the edge of TMI and edging that crude line. There is a distinction between love and lust, and fine line between lust and dirty, and frankly a little gross. This got real close and almost over the line for me at some points. I don't know, it just seem clinic and uncaring at points, (just to get the deed done, if you get my drift) if that makes any sense. It did have a happy ending where everything just works out because suddenly it is a perfect world and the story was interesting, but the story did get lost in some of the dramatics. I am not trying to knock it, just wish, personally for me, there was a little more of a meaningful connection between the characters throughout the book rather than suddenly in just the last few chapters. If you like five alarm chili then probably this kitchen is for you - cuz you know what they say - if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen.
Sinfully Shameless Chef is the last book in the Fury Family series by Gwyn McNamee. In this book, readers will finally be introduced to Jameson Fury, who is the youngest in the Fury Family. He’s been the mysterious one since I started reading this series, and I was excited to meet him finally.
The best part in the book is when the Enemies become Lovers (or, in this case, Rivals to Lovers), and finally give in to that tension between another, and it becomes steamy in the kitchen. It’s so steamy that they put themselves at risk for health code violations. They are both chefs; why wouldn’t they hook up in the kitchen? =)
There were some issues I had with the book, but it’s mainly on the characters themselves and a bit of repetition. The constant reminder that one of them had everything to lose over the other was repetitive, and both had a lot to lose in the long run if they didn’t get their restaurants open. I loved that Izzy didn’t back down when it came to Jameson. After all, he needed to be knocked down a peg or two because he was too cocky at times. His attitude at the beginning of the book made me not like him at first until he redeemed himself after about halfway through the book, especially when he handled his friend/business partner/investor, Grant, who I didn’t like in this book. Then, there was Izzy. I adored her and hated that Jameson was giving her such a hard time and wanted her to succeed, especially since she was honoring her grandmother with the restaurant she was opening.
Overall, it is a very enjoyable series, and I can’t wait to read more from Gwyn McNamee, especially since I’m new to her books. I’ve already added some of her other books to my TBR and am more than determined to read them.
Would I recommend this book? Yes. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy a Rivals to Lovers storyline that has a lot of sabotaging, pranking, and tension between the two MCs.
Sinfully Shameless Chef is the third and final book in the Fury Family Series by Gwyn McNamee, featuring a steamy enemies to lovers romance for Jameson and Izzy. Jameson is riding the wave of his win on the cooking competition show Prime Chef and is moving ahead to open his own upscale restaurant in an up and coming neighborhood. All systems are go until he meets Izzy, the beautiful spitfire who is renting the space right next door for… you guessed it, a restaurant! The competition is on, the gloves are off, and they are both willing to do anything to win. The question is— did their hearts and bodies get the memo that they were enemies?
Wow! I’m in shock! This book packed an emotional punch I was not expecting!! I’ve been curious about Jameson since the first book, and what a ride his story was! From the start, the angst and tension of the slow burn had me glued to the pages, while I lived for the feisty, snarky banter and hilarious pranks!! So funny!!🤣 When they finally give in to the steamy chemistry, it was straight up fire! I don’t think I’ll ever be about to see a reference to béarnaise sauce without thinking of this book.🥵 Jameson was definitely a complex character that could annoy you and make you swoon at the drop of a hat. Izzy was a strong, fun, inspirational character that had you ready to fight for her. As great as all that was though, it’s the secrets and twists and turns that you don’t see coming that make this book an unforgettable one. So original, and just beautifully done. Good luck getting through this one without tears!!😉🥰
I received a free ARC, and am leaving this review voluntarily. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶🌶🌶
Ok, let me get this started. I didn’t like the emotions I experienced reading this story. Both Izzy and Jameson had anger that they brought to every interaction and I didn’t like how closed off they were. This was a definite enemies to lovers theme and they took it to the max, even Izzy going so far as to mess with Jameson’s menu and also ingredients. Had this been anyone else, you can bet that the other person would get sued and there would be more complications. The person wouldn’t take it like Jameson did, especially after all the hard work that went into it. I do like how Gwyn took a potentially serious thing that could happen in the real world and made it not that big of a deal and in a perfect world that would be ideal. I bet people who did start a restaurant would love smooth transitions like this story entailed and the competition that actually ends up working out. My issue isn’t with the story itself, I just wasn’t that into Jameson and Izzy. Their banter and fighting got old after a while but once I hit the emotional stuff and we find out what both Izzy and Jameson are hiding, all bets were off. I felt more for Izzy because I knew why she was the way she was. Jameson’s layer of arrogance and confidence went down and I got to see how emotional he really is about things and it opened up my compassion for him. There was a whole other side of him that he didn’t show people and that’s when I liked him the most. I wish there was more sexy banter and passion in this story, but what ultimately had me give this book a 4 and not a 5 is the way Izzy and Jameson were conveyed. I would have wanted more emotion, less of a mask and persona for them. I just wanted them to be themselves. Overall, I guess I’m happy with how this series ended and I don’t think it can go any further than this.

Thank you Gwyn McNamee for the advance reader copy for review consideration. All opinions are my own.
“You are most definitely going to be a problem for me.”
In Sinfully Shameless Chef, we finally meet the last of the three Fury siblings and the most elusive so far, Jameson. This enemies to lover story was a delight and surprisingly emotional. The relationship between Jameson and Isabella was playful, snarky, and full of competition and heat.
Jameson was the hotshot chef who is single-mindedly focused on opening his new restaurant. He’s arrogant and he’s determined to make his restaurant a success. Isabella is just as determined to open her new restaurant and when these two find themselves sharing a building, the competition to be the best is on.
“That’s what this feels like. Being lost and being found at the same time.”
The snarky banter and playful pranks these two played on each other was so much fun while it also masked the attraction simmering beneath the surface. They slowly came to a truce and started to show their true selves to one another, but both are hiding secrets from one another and when one of these secrets threatens the other’s well-being, will they be able to sacrifice for one another and learn the true meaning of love?
Sinfully Shameless Chef was full of playful hijinks, slow burn attraction, unexpected emotion and angst, simmering heat, and a love that’s undeniable. Jameson and Isabella’s story was my favorite of this series. I loved watching their beautiful journey develop and how much growth they experienced throughout the story.
I have to say that the Fury Family series is easily one of my favorites by Gwyn McNamee. Jameson is the youngest of the Fury siblings. This sexy, foodie romance is filled with heat, heart, hysterical antics and heartbreaking trauma.
Jameson wanted to do his own thing, so he set his sights on opening his own restaurant, and as it turned out, his new neighbor had the same idea.
Isabella has worked hard to get where she is and has finally made it possible to open her own restaurant on her own. She was competing against her neighbor and it doesn't help that he's totally drool worthy. I loved getting to see her wear down Jameson.
I love Jameson's banter and challenging personality. There is something very attractive about a guy that can take on a headstrong and determined woman, rolling with the punches when she outsmarts him. I love how they both got under each other’s skin. There was so much sexual tension, it’s hot!!
I loved the Fury siblings. This is an enemies to lovers romance. There was amazing amounts of sabotaging and pranking, work rivals, angst and lots of spiciness. I love this author she always catches my attention and makes me laugh.
❤️Enemies to lovers ❤️Work rivals ❤️Sabotaging ❤️Angst
Sinfully Shameless Chef is book 3 in the Fury Family series. I have to say out of all 3 siblings, Jameson Fury stole my heart.
Jamo is a chef who won a tv series called Prime Chef. He is a shameless flirt! He is finally opening his own restaurant with the financial backing of his friend, Grant. Things are looking good, until he finds out the feisty blonde next door has the same dream.
Isabella has wanted to open her own restaurant to honor Grams and her recipes. When she runs head on to Jameson and his antics to mess with her, she begins to have a little fun of her own.
The banter and angst between these two was so much fun to watch. They had so much tension and the spice was spicing!!! When things take a turn with Iz’s health, Jameson really stepped up and we get to see a softer side to him and really see his growth.
These two stole my heart. I found myself giggling, melting, and in tears at times. The epilogue wrapped up the whole series beautifully with all three siblings and their families.
Sinfully Shameless Chef is the third installment of The Fury Family series by Gwyn McNamee and follows Jameson Fury the celebrity chef. I loved Isabella and Jameson's banter and the pranks they played on each other!
Isabella is finally following her dream. Thanks to some inheritance from her late grandmother, she is able to rent out an awesome restaurant space and start to renovate her dream. But something that has plagued Isabella all of her life will try to stop her, along with some help from the celebrity chef next door.
Jameson Fury is the youngest Fury sibling and is working with a friend and partner to open a restaurant in a basically untouched neighborhood in NYC. Having the funds and help available to him, he's ready to crush his competition.
I loved getting to know the last Fury! His story was touching and I loved Isabella and her story too. Both had their own growing to do to overcome their differences! I loved this series!
Like the adage says: if you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen but then you would miss all of the drama and fun between Jameson and Izzy and you do not want to miss one minute of these two! From the beginning, they are fire and spice and this is one storyline that will draw in any reader from its vividly descriptive opening scene. Jameson and Izzy each have their own reasons for wanting to have their own restaurants but somehow, they wind up too close for comfort to each other. One has been doing everything to get out of the box so everyone would recognize the name while the other is starting from scratch. Who will come out on top? This is one well written enemy to lovers story with added nuances that demonstrate the author’s panache for writing. The passion between the two is sizzling and their interactions are penned as if one could be witnessing them in real life. Grab your copy now!
Jameson is the youngest Fury. Wanting to do his own thing he sets his sights on opening his own restaurant, and as it turns out, his new neighbor has the same idea. Isabella has worked hard to be where she is and has finally made it possible to open her own restaurant on her own. Except her new business neighbor is doing the same thing, only with a business partner with deeper pockets and he has already made a name for himself winning a national tv show as top chef. It doesn't help that he's totally drool worthy. I love Jameson's banter and challenging personality. The pranks are funny and I think I loved his response to hers more than anything. There is something so attractive about a guy that can take a headstrong and determined woman and roll with the punches when she outsmarts him. The kitchen scene was soooo hot. And the ending.... OH MY HEART!!!! Loved this book!
The best Fury was saved for last! Don’t get my wrong Bash and Rachel were pretty darn entertaining but Jameson was absolute fire!
I seriously came close to chucking my tablet because Jameson is such a cocky jerk! My gosh I didn’t know how Gwyn would redeem him but deep down you could see that underneath all the toughness was a man trying to make his mark and rise above his past! He wasn’t as callous as he tried to make you believe he was just deeply misunderstood!
Isabella was his perfect match! She didn’t take his crap and showed him how to truly be humble! Each moment spent together brought them closer and the way this book ended was a huge twist and surprise! I may have shed a few tears...who am I kidding I cried like a baby! I didn’t expect for this book to be emotional but it was and I loved it!
If there is one Fury you need to meet it’s definitely Jameson!
This series!!! I can't believe it's over. I have been fortunate to read these before the public eye and I have loved every single book. This book is about the youngest of the bunch Jameson and he lives up to his last name. He could be a real asshole but at the same time he could be sweet, kinda like a sour patch kid. 😜 He isn't as dirty as his brother Bash, but he does dirty up a kitchen with the girl next door who is also trying to open up her own restaurant. I love Isabella and her trying to put everything in order to start her dream that she had since she was little. This book was a great enemies to lovers and Jameson really stole my heart especially the last few chapters. They had me in tears, bad and really good ones. Can't wait for others to read this amazing last chapter of the Fury Family!
The final installment of the Fury family series. People. Gwynn McNamee saved the best for last! Jameson and Izzy are rival chefs who are opening up restaurants right next door to each other. Chaos ensues the moment they meet each other, but so does an attraction that neither are sure is the best idea for them. They end up succumbing to said attraction and having a hot and steamy relationship. There is major conflict, but they are able to overcome and get their happily ever after in the end. This book had the perfect amount of angst, and dirty talking spice for the speed of the storyline. I also really liked that this book was different than others I’ve read. I’ve read a lot of romance novels, but I’ve only read one other that had a chef as a main character. I think that brought a fresh feel to things for me and made me love it all the more. This is definitely worth the read!
I freakin loved this book! The banter, distain and passion between these two kept me laughing, swooning and binging this book
Jameson is a talented chef but is a cocky, devious and delightful. He is determined to make his business a success despite the annoying lady next door, equipment constraints and a jerky business partner.
Isabella is a tough, determined and confident business owner. She is determined to make her business a success…regardless of the jerk next door, financial constraints and a big issue she’s ignoring.
The drama, pranks and overall dialogue between these two is fantastic! I laughed out loud so many times, swooned at the attraction and had to fan myself with the passion.
Highly recommend this book and the other books in the series.
My heart hurts that this series is overly Gwyn really brought the heart and emotion home with this one. I absolutely love all the Furys but Jameson takes the cake. That man has heart. Cocky chef meets his competition with spunky little Izzy. The chemistry between these enemies to lovers is spicy. The emotions brought out with this story were unlike the others. This one really tugged the heart strings. I'm one of those readers who feels like I'm losing my friends because for the past month, the Fury Family has been all I've known and now the series has come to an end. I really liked the way everything came together and the ending just brings me so much joy!! I totally recommend this series!!
Wow, what an amazing story between Jameson and Isabella. Jameson is cocky, confident and is running from his demons and when he meets the sassy, spunky and fired up Isabella he knows he’s in for a fun time getting under her skin. These two are explosive, both hiding something from each other and what starts as a “friendly” competition turns into something neither of them expected. The banter is off the charts, they had me laughing out loud in the middle of the night, I couldn’t put this one down. I wasn’t sure where Isabella’s story was going and all I can say is have some tissue around you will need it. I loved these two, they were a perfect match and I really enjoyed their story.
Jameson is the star of the final Fury Family Series book. Jameson is the youngest Fury, he tried to carve out his own path away from his dad’s expectations. He’s recently won a cooking show and has his sights set on opening his own restaurant. Much to his displeasure, another chef is opening her restaurant directly next door to his. Isabella and Jameson each want to make their dreams come true. They battle it out, but end up finding some common ground in their feelings for each other. I think Jameson and Isabella are my favorite of the couples, they were so damn cute! ❤️
The saying goes, “If you can’t take the heat, then get out the kitchen” and that’s exactly what this book screams, both literally and figuratively.
I went into this book not sure of what to think because I’d never read a chef/cooking romance, but this book!!! The characters!! Jameson is a firestorm in looks, cooking skill, and personality. Izzy is a true force to be reckoned with—a hurricane in her own right. And what happens when two forces collide? An explosion in the kitchen! I absolutely loved this read and the twists, turns, pranks, angst, and secrets revealed were just *chef’s kiss*. It’s an easy read with a whole lot of steam, the ability to tug at your heartstrings, and even more of a beautifully structured plot.
Wow 🤩 just wow. I’m wrecked emotionally. My heart was dragged like a broken yo-yo through this final book in the series with the second brother and third and final sibling Jameson a arrogant chef and Izzy who just so happens to be a chef opening up a restaurant right next door to his 😏 This author knows how to keep you guessing keeping you in the dark until the bitter end then hangs you up by bated breath wondering if they will get their happy ending or not! I highly recommend this book and the entire series especially if you love enemies to lovers extreme spice and giant secrets!
I received an arc copy and am leaving a voluntary review.
This story sucked me into the the drama unfolding within its pages. It had me hooked from beginning to end! At first, I couldn’t stand Jameson, he was so cocky and unfair with his shenanigans, but he slowly grew on me and I have to say that he’s everything you want in your dream guy because he became a true hero to Isabella. I love a strong heroine, and Izzy is exactly that and so much more. She has heart and grit and even though at times she second guesses herself, she has determination that allows her to win 🥰 This story will bring out the waterworks because it’s emotional, but it’s also humorous and fun as well. Loved it! 🥰
Jameson Fury is a pain in the a$$ with a heart that he hides well... until he gets a taste of his competition next door. Isabella is intent on fulfilling her dream of a restaurant dedicated to her late grandmother's recipes, but the arrogant next door neighbor is a constant thorn in her side... until be goes above and beyond to prove he's worth the risk.
This sexy, foodie romance is filled with heat, heart, hysterical antics and heartbreaking trauma. It will tear you apart and put you back together. And it has cameos from the other Fury siblings.
Really Gwyn, you knocked this series out of the park. Three siblings who met their matches and always with a hint of trouble.
Jameson and Isabella are no different. Two chefs, unwittingly trying to open different restaurants beside each other. Two styles of cooking and dining experience that couldn't be more different. The heat between Jamo and Izzy is priceless. There is a very fine line between love and hate.
You've got to read the Fury Family Series. This family fun is a great way to relax after a brutal day of work.
Finally achieving his dream & putting his natural talent into something he loves, Jameson has found the perfect place to open his restaurant, but his neighbour could prove to be trouble when Isabella is opening his competition & Jameson can't keep his eyes off her.
These two have got to be by far my favourite couple in this series, the instant connection that they tried to hide with their anger & insults was incredibly entertaining. I lived for their next interaction, curious to see who would crumble first.
Holy frickin’ moly!! Jameson Fury is just as hot as his siblings. Whew. This story drew me in right away. For me, enemies to lovers has to be done right or I find myself annoyed by it. Obviously, this is extremely well done since I did finish it, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Izzy’s story really hit me hard, for some very personal reasons. No spoilers here though, you’ll just have to read it yourself to find out. If you’ve loved the other Fury siblings then you’re going to love the Sinfully Shameless Chef.
I loved this last book in the Fury Family series. Jameson is another tough cookie, but he's full of great and make you growl in frustration ideas, for example, couches! He's not just a pretty chef! The combustible attraction between him and Izzy was instantaneous, but the comebacks from her are also spectacular, e.g., menu items! Totally swoon worthy near the end of the book, and it only got more panty melting after that. All the feels in this book for sure. Definitely recommend.
Jameson and Izzy are so cute together and as they go from enemies to lovers it made putting this book down at bedtime so hard. I missed a couple of hours of sleep last night but it was worth it. At first I didn't like Jameson but when the sparks started flying between him and Izzy I started falling for him too. I loved the crazy fun banter, sexual tension, and the competition between these two. Great writing, well developed characters, and a great ending make this a definite must read and a great addition to The Fury Family series.
I laughed but I also needed the tissues. I think this one caught me off guard with how much it’d hit me in the feels. Chef James Fury is the star of a cooking show that meets his match in a battle of restaurants. Izzy is just trying to make her dreams come true and keep her promise to her grandmother. All is fair in Love and Business? The pranks between these two will have you laughing and the chemistry is palatable. Great way to end a series. I can’t give tell you how much I loved this couple.
