I haven't had as much fun reading since I read Slouch Witch. Both this story and that have irreverent comedy in their, for lack of a better word, assistant. I laugh out loud multiple times and the storyline is fantastic. I can't wait to see how they wrap the story up. The book finished too soon for me because I was enjoying every minute. I like the morals of the characters, the forgiveness to those wronged, the search for a way to resolve issues by challenging the desire to put people in either good or bad slots. We all know that all people have the capacity for both. It is a well written storyline that I stand 100 percent behind. I can't wait to read the last book. Great job!
Once again, Sarah Noffke/Falcon's words grabbed my attention, and kept me plastered to this book, until I finished it at last!
Poor Rose has, yet again, a long, and convoluted list of tasks that she has to complete, in order to be fully coupled with her amazing sword, Paturnus.
First, and foremost, she must chase down Deirdre, the powerful Metamorph Witch, who is able to make other witches, while also gaining more power from the exchange.
Then she needs to track down Mefora Payne, the lead witch of the Shadow Walker Coven. Mefora is someone wickedly dark, who is causing unknown harm to the Earth, and the people on it.
But the task that she really wants to do, is to help London, the only other Demigod around, to find the twin of her sword, Paturnus - this sword has been hidden for centuries, but London won't be able to stand up for what he needs to do, in order to help both Rose bring a true Peace to the Earth, but also to be accepted as the permanent replacement for his Father, John, who really wants to retire.
The sword that he needs, Maturnus, has been hidden away for centuries, and Rose and London need to find it, together.
But, as usual, Rose's family are willing, and able, to help her with details of the tasks she needs to complete and so, with the love and support of her family, Rose takes the first steps, to help London gain what he needs, to stand safe beside her!
This book has many more details of the many layered things going on, both in Rose's life, and also those around her.
It was a bit of a shock, when Rose managed to find Porthos, but the secret he held was something that I think will play a big part in the following books to come - and I'm going to find it hard, to wait for the next one to be published!
Saying that, as I can't go on to read the next book in this series, then I'm going to chose something else to read next.
So, I'll be going back to my reading of the Oriceran Universe, with a new series, written by Martha Carr, and Flint Maxwell, this time, called 'The Midwest Chronicles'.
The first book in this series is called: 'The Midwest Witch' but, as it's starting to become silly O'Clock in the morning, once more, I'll set up my book on my Kindle, and I'll start reading it later on, after I've had some sleep.
So, once I've done this, I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what I think of this new series, and book!

This 8th book is so, so good as Rose’s adventures continue. The plan is to stop the shadow walker coven, stop them from taking down the house of fourteen and stop them from destroying everyone and everything around them. It’s always a pleasure to visit with the Beaufonts and Rose’s story has been an exciting and fun journey as well as a little darkness and a whole lotta magic. Love, friendship, family, drama, witches, warlocks oh and let’s not forget Elvis, this was a fantastic addition to this series and although I don’t want this series to end, I cannot wait to see how this all ties up and concludes.
Rose has so much to do to save the world. She has to destroy the head witch of the Shadow coven, help London find his magical knife, stop all the witches and warlocks and find a new magical race. It's a good thing she has family and friends to help her. I really enjoyed this book, it has lots of adventure, magic, some sadness and plenty of humor. I am looking forward to more in the series.
So much happening and so much responsibility on such an amazing Character and just loving Elvis what a rock star. These are brilliant books about family and friends overcoming overwhelming obstacles with heart and love. Just quite fabulous any wait to start next book. Ps don’t expect to get much done once you’ve started reading you’ll get sucked in to this world detail magical tech world. Enjoy
I'm disappointed with Elvis. He is so disrespectful with everyone. I thought he would learn to at least sho some respect as we grew together, but its still like he's the only thing that matters. He acts like he should be constantly praised, lifted up, bragged on, & always a light shinning on him. Maybe there's hope for him yet. I just can't love him like I do the other magical creatures. They at least know when to shut up!
Ok it's corny but this book is a bit more thoughtful than the usual ones in the series as bonding /friendships or lack of showcase a lot in this one and how support and its absence causes issues. However it's good to see a little more progress in the series again as we move towards the final few books.
This is a great series overall. I've really liked all the Beaufont stories. This one we still get to have the others cross into the story so it's a lot of fun. But this is a very deep series I think. The entire world is on the line and things look rough. But being a Beaufont we hope things work out.
Entertaining, enjoyable and well worth reading!!!!!
Congratulations to Sarah Noffke and Michael Anderle for this amazing series. It’s extremely hard to find such interesting and exciting authors who not only write intelligently but also provide top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories. I’m really looking forward to the next book.
Rose is trying to hunt the witch maker and end her. She also needs to find the knife partnered with her’s for London and finally end the witch over the coven. Read to see what happens!
Well done Sarah. Another exciting story in the life of the BAUFONT'S. Rose accomplished much in the story, with all the acton, humor, love and support of the cast we have all come to ❤️ and know. Read the book!💞
Most of chapter one is blank! It’s hard to enjoy a book when there’s nothing on the page! Shame really because I devour these books when they come out and always give high ratings.
I don't know about other readers. But I am not thrilled with the 20 word minimum requirement. Anyway another great read in this series if you like this there are many more books by these authors that I am positive you will find enjoyable 😀
On on to book 9 in this series and it has plenty of magical tricks involved the way it's written. Light and easy to read without a lot of adult context.
